Great show as always. Didn't like how it was double the amount of people as last year. You could barely walk around without being elbowed or stepped in by someone.

    Paradiso rocked my socks off

by tydubs on 7/1/14Gorge Amphitheatre - George

What a great event! We stayed in Premier camping (which I recommend) and has no issues. General was obviously pure chaos so we avoided that for the most part. The show was fun, staff was helpful, and met some amazing people.

    pretty great

by aearle on 7/1/14Gorge Amphitheatre - George

Awesome event, had a great time even though i am not a fan of the music. only issue was that the wait times to get in were insane. The first day the line wasn't so bad because it was single file atleast, but we did not even get searched when we finall reached the front. THe second day there wasn't really a line, just a huge clump of people standing in the hot sun with no shade. It started to get really clostrophobic and I saw some people start having panic attacks and had to leave.

    Life changing! But those lines...

by Kurashinno on 7/1/14Gorge Amphitheatre - George

The experience, energy, vibes, people, venue, and music were just beautiful! But we waited for a total of 10 hours in lines over the whole weekend.

    Terrible lines and security

The amount of waiting time was absurd. It's not worth the venue and music to deal with that much bullshit. I honestly don't want to give my money to live nation ever again

    unnecessary security, poor organization

    by bob12972 on 7/1/14Gorge Amphitheatre - George

It is incredibly rude to force people to stand in line for 2.5 hours while you strip search 27,000 people that have each paid $200 for entry. The show was good, but overall I am very unimpressed with the gorges organization and ability to deal with a sold out croud. This event would be nothing without the patrons that make it worthwhile.

The Gorge is an amazing venue

by YoungerFiasco on 7/1/14Gorge Amphitheatre - George

Paradiso is a dope event and one of the best venue to attend a music festival yet. With that being said, the organization of the event was not really on the top of my favorites list. Parking situation was a bit crazy but at the same time I was able to move my car close to my group of friends who came separately pretty easily. Honey Buckets were cleaned pretty regulary but beware if you come across an unclean honey bucket. Getting into Paradiso, the actual festival was the worst part of the whole trip. Day one took about 45 mins which is not too bad. Day two, took about 3 hours to get through security and ticketing. 3 hours is uncalled for for especially when they make you throw out any open liguids at a check point about 50 yards before.

Mostly great but times have changed

    by Nissa9 on 7/1/14Gorge Amphitheatre - George

I have been going to Paradiso since the first Identity. There is nothing quite like the Gorge! The blow up flowers and words were beautiful, the shade structures and shallow pools were appreciated, and the rides make the VIP pass worth it. There were a few things that I have seen improve over the years. There was more staff to help organize the event and most of them were very kind. I was surprised at how often there was actually hand sanitizer in the dispensers. I am also glad there have been more trash cans at the camp grounds. Here are my main concerns. Long lines. Silica exit took my friends four hours just to enter the event. Luckily we knew back roads but maybe a sign or someone could redirect some traffic? The increased security also made lines longer. More entry lanes? I'm sure this could be better organized. Last year I remember markers with alphabet letters and numbers to mark the rows of the campsites. If they were there this year I did not see them. Most important to me was the banning of flow toys. I spin poi, staff, hula hoop, and glove. Two weeks before the event USC informed us about which items would not be allowed. I'm glad they changed their mind about the sunscreen but apparently they didn't communicate with their security about allowing flow toys excluding gloves (my favorite). We had to walk back to our campsite and missed a set because of it. I don't think it's very professional to announce the expectations after your event has sold out. I also feel discriminated against. If you're worried about the drug scene fine. That's why your searching cars now right? The increased amount of staff? But don't point your finger at those of us building different art forms. It is for this reason I don't intend to return to anymore USC events. They seem more concerned about their image than the real issue. It seems to me they don't appreciate one of my favorite parts of this culture/scene.

    Deorro was amazing!

by JBurnZ on 7/1/14Gorge Amphitheatre - George

One of the reasonse we started doing Paradiso was because it was a smaller crowd than EDC. We also did EDC this year and there were double if not triple the peolpe there. I never once waited for more than 5 minuts in any line... Neither for a shuttle or entering the venue or even buying things inside. Very organized this year. Very well staffed and they had much larger names. I think that Paradiso was cheaper this year in a sense that they didnt have the headliners or line up like last year. They went from Tiesto and Kaskade to Zedd, Krewlla and Above and Beyond..??? I waited in line both nights for nearly 2 hours... What a joke.

    Backstage with Zedd!

by KerryFrog on 7/1/14Gorge Amphitheatre - George

My son asked me to join him at Paradiso this year - he has attended each year. So, we scored Premiere Camping and VIP passes - AWESOME time! I'm definitely going all out again next year! PLUR!

W and W and Laid Back Luke were great

Rediculous lines and security, inside was good

    by Mark206 on 7/1/14Gorge Amphitheatre - George

3+ hour long lines both days to get in with rude security staff. Missed many of the artists I wanted to see waiting in line. Campgrounds were trashed and stuff was stolen and broken while we were inside the concert. Once inside the show everything was pretty good but the wait was horrible and a really dampened our excitement.

    My first Paradiso

by Anonymous on 7/1/14Gorge Amphitheatre - George

For the DJ's I did get to see, Paradiso was an incredible experience. However, the wait times kept me from seeing half of the stuff I was excited for and paid REALLY good money for. The time I did get to spend there was thoroughly enjoyed and I had a lovely time at the venue with all my friends.

    Amazing festival!

    by nick0120j87 on 8/12/13Gorge Amphitheatre - George

This festival is amazing but it's certainly not for everyone. If you aren't social with new people or discovering new types of EDM music and partying on the side, STAY AT HOME! The stage setups were amazing, the artists were amazing, the people were amazing. So much fun!!!

    Paradiso 2013

by PDXB on 7/14/13Gorge Amphitheatre - George

Great music, great memories It was not worth it to purchase a VIP pass, the value of the VIP pass experience compared to a normal admission ticket did not match the difference in price for either the concert or the camping experience. More organization is needed from live nation to really make people feel like they are getting what they pay for There should be access to more than one shower and bathroom station in premier camping....that's the number one reason people buy it.

Could have been better planned from the start. Pain for VIP and didn't get half of it.

    Amazing time despite the heat

    by Yoshi2013 on 7/2/13Gorge Amphitheatre - George

Overall I have to say the event was amazing. I think there could have been more water refill stations and some other tents or better cool down stations to help people deal with the extreme heat, especially on Friday. The event starting later than 2pm and ending later in the morning than 2am could also really help, even if they had to serve alcohol only in beer gardens as USC does at other events. Also, for the most part the event staff I encountered were very friendly. I liked that they did allow you to bring in an empty bottle or a sealed bottle of water.

    Best weekend EVER

    by Jojo1626 on 7/1/13Gorge Amphitheatre - George

I had a great time at paradiso!! My favorite artists were Morgan Page, Kaskade, Tommy Trash, & Grizmatik!!! Especially Morgan Page & kaskade, I would love love to see them again. The only things that were kinda hard was the heat & not getting enough sleep, but I can't blame anyone for those things! I have seen the news and heard lots if rumors of canceling Paradiso and I humbly BEG you not to! My friends and I would be devasted. If I may, the only things I can think of that might help the issues talked about would be possibly having the festival a couple weeks earlier to avoid so much heat, heavier security to check for drugs. Please don't cancel Paradiso!!!
