The show was awesome! Paolo is amazing live! A true talent! He is a young man with an old soul! Very soulful! Would travel again in that crazy traffic for him! The Fox Theater too was great. Would go to another show there again.
I have been a fan since Sept 2006 & have been to 4 shows ... 2 at the Wiltern! Paolo Nutini holds nothing back in his performance. His passion & honest emotion & enjoyment of performance can be felt ... brings tears to my eyes. I loved the new arrangements of songs like "Candy" and Jenny Don't Be Hasty" from previous albums. His appreciation of the audience is genuine ... a gracious person. The audience around me (some of them only saw him sing one song on Good Morning America in September 2014) was enthusiastic & fully engaged. All in All ... Awesome Experience!
He and his band were wonderful as always, in fact he just gets better and better!! Love his slow ballads the best! Thank you for including SD in your tour!
Concert was unforgettable. It was thrilling to be so close to Paulo Nutini and see and hear him perform. He is an amazing artist and his band was HOT too! One of the best concerts I have been to.

Paolo Nutini is such an amazing singer! His band is really good, too. Unfortunately, the band was WAY too loud. They totally drowned out Paolo, and there's the rub. Paolo doesn't really NEED a band. It was a great show, don't get me wrong. But when he gets out there and does some acoustic stuff and you can really hear his voice, it's just SO powerful. So, Paolo was great, but the next time he comes around, I hope it is an acoustic set so we can appreciate the real talent.
4th time seeing Paolo live and each time he just keeps getting better. Great act to see live. Can't wait for the next one.
I bought tickets to see this concert at the Wiltern thinking I was going to see Paolo Nutini, who has a great voice and great music, not Paolo Nutini and the Vipers. This concert was not billed as such. The music was still good, it just wasn't the concert I came to see. He performed one older song in the middle of his upbeat rock concert, that didn't even resemble the song. I recognized the words, but not the music. His very last song of the encore was also a much adored song of his, though he still changed it up. I'm not sure why he thought his original music was no longer of value. I originally fell in love with his ballads, which were nowhere to be seen. Who was that guy?
Paolo is one of the few up and coming acts that has legs. He's got a unique, soulful voice. Charisma. A crack band. Great songs that have a pop sensibility. The show did not disappoint. So many of the young bands sound the same and their songs make me want to fall asleep. Like the opening act Phox from Wisconsin, and I'm from Wisconsin. Not Paolo. He rocked, rolled, and he's got soul. Also, The Wiltern is a cool Art Deco venue in Koreantown part of LA with great restaurants around and open late.
I just had seen Paolo on The Today Show and fell in love with him. So I bought two tickets for me and my boyfriend to see him. As soon as I had sent him a Youtube of Paolo we both fell in love with him. His style reminds me so much of Marvin Gaye and this kid is on his way to becoming very famous here in the states! I would see him again and again and again. He put on an amazing show and he has a great band behind him. The opening band was a band by the name of PHOX and they were also very good. A group of kids that went to high school together. I was pleasantly surprised by there style and there music!
Paolo was AMAZING!! Wanted it to go on forever!! Apollo was a great venue! We enjoyed every moment! He sang to his mother in the audience
I have been watching this young man since he started writing his own music at 16. He has come a long way, So humble and evolving as he goes. The guitar and bass player have been with him for the entire time. Excellent additions with horns and a power house back up female singer that blends in seamless.Sold out in Europe, USA is to busy with 25 dancers and hair machines, which is fine. If your want to see a band playing actual instruments and amazing lyrics, don't miss Paolo Nutini. Still on tour here....
I loved his music and romance from his first debut and finally seeing him perform confirmed everything. A truly amazing show and a fantastic venue !!!
Paulo was amazing! An unforgettable show, he sounds just as good as he does on his CD`s. I just wished he toured the USA more.
Paolo Nutini and his band were amazing. Loved his latest album, the overall show from backdrop to lighting, to sound, all the musicians performance, and his single ballads. Thanks for an unforgettable evening. Cheers to the band from Wisconsin, great opening.
The venue was gorgeous and very intimate. The lighting was effective. Paolo's vocals were loud and clear, but he maintained his rough vocal style. There were plenty of songs sung, but the concert ended early enough to get home safely.
PAOLO'S VOICE WAS AMAZING! He's a master musician and deserved the standing ovation he received at the end of his performance. There is no holding back this type of talent.
All the beauty and subtlety of Paolo Nutini's voice was lost under the crush of a poor sound mix. Impossible to hear a word he sang outside 25' from stage. Whoever did sound for this show should be fired. Period.

Paolo is a rare talent the defies his age. Really enjoy listening to the new album material. The Fox in Oakland is such a great venue and being able to see him here is a great bonus.
