About

Palaye Royale in Concert

Throughout history, the greatest rock 'n' roll bands have exuded confidence in their sound and vision. The Los Angeles-based power trio Palaye Royale is no exception: The group of real-life brothers — vocalist Remington Leith, guitarist Sebastian Danzig, and drummer Emerson Barrett — take striking musical and fashion cues from '60s and '70s icons (including and especially The Rolling Stones), but are forging a distinct musical path forward.

Although they've toured with modern metal and hard rock bands (including Pop Evil), Palaye Royale are most comfortable nodding to the past. Their 2016 debut, 'Boom Boom Room (Side A),' brims with groove-heavy, retro rock 'n' roll, as does that album's 2018 companion, 'Boom Boom Room (Side B),' which is full of stomping glam, smoldering blues, and razor-edged rock.

This brash music is a far cry from the band's origins. As kids, the brothers played together in a pop act called Kropp Circle that received some attention from media such as Radio Disney. However, the siblings soon decided that classic rock 'n' roll was more their speed, and they relocated to L.A. The move paid off as they nabbed a record deal with Sumerian Records, and the chance to develop a career on their own terms.

Fiercely DIY, the group has amassed a devoted fan base (known as the "Soldiers of the Royal Council") through nurturing creative endeavors. The band produces a newspaper called 'The Royal Times' and has launched its own makeup and jewelry lines, while Barrett himself sells original fine art both online and at the merch table. In concert, the members of Palaye Royale also foster deep connections with fans, no doubt because of their previous years of live experience. They crank up the volume and swagger, giving their songs even more verve and energy, while Danzig is a livewire frontman who's been known to hang off venue lighting rigs for dramatic effect.

Over the course of their career, Palaye Royale have brought countless venues to capacity, like Saint Andrews Hall in Detroit, the Theatre of Living Arts in Philadelphia and the Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta.

    Amazing!!!

by Kaytie on 9/26/22House of Blues Boston - Boston

Yes, the merch line was long, but that's normal. This was SUCH a good experience!! Remington was did some hilarious things, like jumping from the second floor onto the stage and running over to the bar to get a drink. It was SO worth it, and I would reccomend you going ANYTIME. Like, oml, this was super fun. Can't wait for Palaye to come back to Boston!!!!!!

The band was great. Larger than life entertainers with the musical chops to back it up. Also, HOB is Boston's best venue.

    Teenage show

by Concert guy on 9/26/22House of Blues Boston - Boston

The palaye royale show was overall really good and this is coming from a guy who attends mostly metal shows the highlight for me was when Remington jumped from the second balcony back on to the stage , the let down for me was the fan whom ripped Emerson drumsticks out of my hand , karma will find you one day

    Great band....

    by J.G. on 9/24/22Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

This is the second time to see Palaye, and I truly enjoy their music. Very talented musicians, fantastic stage presence. But, the sound was TERRIBLE. Very difficult to hear any vocals, only heard guitars. Really didn't need to be on "11" to enjoy the concert. Not sure if it was a mix issue, or a "I want to be the loudest on stage" problem.

The show was absolutely amazing as was the venue and staff!

    by jj2204 on 9/24/22Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

Palaye royale truly puts on an amazing show. I have not experienced a concert with as much energy as they had. They interacted with the audience and made the show feel very special. They also had some amazing openers that did a great job hyping the audience up before them. I am so happy to have been part of this audience!

    See this band live

by Vecnussy 4Eva on 9/24/22Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

First of all, the staff and coordinators at this venue are some of the nicest/most organized I’ve encountered so far. But the band? You just need to see them live to believe them. They’re high energy, talented as hell, and one of the best live bands you’ll ever see.

    by Alexis on 3/3/22

I live in Louisiana and I drove to Houston texas to see them and it was the best night of my life! Their Music has made me happy in every way possible. And as soon as Emerson came on stage I cried bc I never thought the people who have created music that helped me through it all would be right in front of me. I recommend!

    Best opener ever!

    by Syd on 1/30/22

Palaye Royale was one of the openers for YUNGBLUD at the Ryman. I wasn't expecting much, and I hadn't heard of them before, but damn they killed it. One of the best live performance groups I've ever seen. They had the whole auditorium on their feet. Their music was great of course, but they also were great at interacting with the crowd. I'm definitely planning to see them again.

    OUTSTANDING

    by K. L. on 10/5/21

I saw them for the first time back in 2018 and I’ve been going to shows every since. It’s totally worth the money. I love this band so much. The fan base (The Royal council) is also such a amazing community and fan base/ family to be apart of.
