About

Palaye Royale in Concert

Throughout history, the greatest rock 'n' roll bands have exuded confidence in their sound and vision. The Los Angeles-based power trio Palaye Royale is no exception: The group of real-life brothers — vocalist Remington Leith, guitarist Sebastian Danzig, and drummer Emerson Barrett — take striking musical and fashion cues from '60s and '70s icons (including and especially The Rolling Stones), but are forging a distinct musical path forward.

Although they've toured with modern metal and hard rock bands (including Pop Evil), Palaye Royale are most comfortable nodding to the past. Their 2016 debut, 'Boom Boom Room (Side A),' brims with groove-heavy, retro rock 'n' roll, as does that album's 2018 companion, 'Boom Boom Room (Side B),' which is full of stomping glam, smoldering blues, and razor-edged rock.

This brash music is a far cry from the band's origins. As kids, the brothers played together in a pop act called Kropp Circle that received some attention from media such as Radio Disney. However, the siblings soon decided that classic rock 'n' roll was more their speed, and they relocated to L.A. The move paid off as they nabbed a record deal with Sumerian Records, and the chance to develop a career on their own terms.

Fiercely DIY, the group has amassed a devoted fan base (known as the "Soldiers of the Royal Council") through nurturing creative endeavors. The band produces a newspaper called 'The Royal Times' and has launched its own makeup and jewelry lines, while Barrett himself sells original fine art both online and at the merch table. In concert, the members of Palaye Royale also foster deep connections with fans, no doubt because of their previous years of live experience. They crank up the volume and swagger, giving their songs even more verve and energy, while Danzig is a livewire frontman who's been known to hang off venue lighting rigs for dramatic effect.

Over the course of their career, Palaye Royale have brought countless venues to capacity, like Saint Andrews Hall in Detroit, the Theatre of Living Arts in Philadelphia and the Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta.

    Best show I've ever attended!!!

by Kate on 4/7/24Blueberry Hill Duck Room - St Louis

Palaye Royale was absolutely amazing!! High energy, awesome vocals, and the band is just a joy to watch perform. The duck room at Blueberry hill was so intimate that anywhere in the room had a fantastic view! 20/10 would recommend both the band and venue!

The Boys always put on a great show but this acoustic show for such an important cause took it out of the ball park. It was great to be part of this beautiful experience. It was such an emotional show & Emerson Sang! It was just great!

    TLA 2022

    by A. Z. on 2/4/23

I saw them twice last year once as a opener and once as a headliner and I absolutely loved it they have such a good energy about them. They are up there as one of my favorite concerts and I've been to a lot. They have a fun environment and are aware of the crowd when issues happen. I will definitely be going again when they make their way back to my area!

    by M. G. on 11/30/22

Palaye Royale is such an amazing band! Their music/lyrics are awesome, so they are greatly talented that way and artistically on top of that. The show they put on was beautiful and very interactive. Definitely one of the best shows I’ve seen and a favorite for me! I highly suggest seeing them at least once!

    They were the best

    by Awol62 on 11/28/22Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

The preferred parking was great, but so expensive.... The Palladium was a great choice of venue, but the ADA seating area was so far away. The band played so good, so hard, and tried to be energetic. But it was so hot inside... while there was such cool weather..so there was no excuse to have it so warm. they were over heated, as were so many in the crowd. I went to another concert there the next week and the air was on and cool..that was great. So this is the reason why I had to give the 4 stars rating not the 5 they really deserved.

    Amazing show, amazing venue

by Natalie on 11/11/22Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

The venue staff were so organized and kind. I brought my two young kids with me to the show and we had the best time! I love love love this venue, and the food options were a welcome surprise. We were treated very well by every single staff member we encountered, and everyone talked to my boys like actual people instead of dumb kids. I hughly recommend!

    Love them to death…slightly loud

by MissViolet on 11/9/22Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

Listen I LOVE going to concerts and I am never against loud music. This is the second time I’ve seen them live and both times it’s been uncomfortably loud. Other than that they are INCREDIBLE! Such an amazing performance by such a talented band. Will see them every time.

    Amazing performance amazing venue

by Sophia on 11/9/22Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

Palaye were absolutely incredible, everyone in the band, the brothers, and the additional guitarist and bassist all had amazing stage presence, it was hard to just focus on one person. I loved how the openers were all women lead singers plus the first band having a female lead singer and female drummer, I’ve been to so many concerts and now really realize how important representation is. I’ve only ever seen men on stage and don’t get me wrong I love concerts but I never watched one thinking wow that could be me up there, it gave me so much inspiration as a woman musician. The Hollywood Palladium also had great upgrades, I was in the middle to back of the line and they set up an entrance at the side door and for an extra $20 you could go right in, because of that I was able to get right by the stage and touch Sebastian as he went into the crowd and see Emerson so close up, best $20 I’ve ever spent💀🤪
