the oxford stomp was the best time i’ve ever had at stampede. the crows, lady peace, ms. ryder… brilliant! and the venue was clean, the fans were respectable and the hospitality was top notch. see you next year - woo hoo!!!
They have taken a great event and reduced it to it's present form. Unfortunate. Artists are great, should have been a great show. However, it is impossible to get back and forth to the bar, nothing to sit on (at least at Fort Calgary you had hay bails). The bar should be twice as large as it is, totally inadequate. Poorly run, needs to be fixed. They need to maintain some pathways for people to get back and forth, people are walking over, bumping into each other and it's causing a lot of possible problems. The few security guards walking through the area only adds to the frustration, they don't do anything to unruly patrons. Just a zoo.
Loved the concert! Our friends almost didn’t get in because they didn’t have ID. They had a credit card and debit card. We didn’t think we would need ID as we are in our 50s and took the train down. We were not alone, there were many people without ID. There were so many of us very upset, it was also hard on security to deal with all these people. It does not say on the ticket. That should be in big bold letters on the ticket. Once we looked back it did say it on the website. We bought our tickets long ago so if we read it, that is long forgotten. They did let them in eventually, it was not a great way to start the night. Thankfully the concert was Awesome sowe finished on a high note.
