About

Our Last Night was formed in 2004 by brothers Matt and Trevor Wentworth along with childhood friend Tim Molloy. Combining huge melodic choruses, intense breakdowns, and wide ranging vocals they have created their own brand of post-hardcore. Lyrically the band strive to create a message of hope throughout all of their records. With no label and a massive fan base Our Last Night's DIY approach of self-producing their albums and music videos has become a model for those seeking to make a living doing what they love. Their unique sound and ability to create rock solid covers of todays hits has solidified their success while launching their original music into new realms.

Don't miss them on their Covers Only Tour 2024 playing in major cities in North America!

    Our Last Night is amazing!!

by ShutterShock on 4/18/18Teragram Ballroom - Los Angeles

This show was absolutely awesome! One of the best crowds and performances I have been to. Our Last Night was great! There were three openers, two that were expected, and one that showed up out of nowhere. This made the show quite long but it was worth it. Awesome show, would love to go again. The venue was great too, nice AC and good facilities.

    Selective hearing tour

by Oscatthecoolcat on 4/16/18Teragram Ballroom - Los Angeles

I bought tickets for this event because my girlfriend is a oln fan so I surprised her with these tickets for her birthday. We got to this concert beforehand for a meet and greet, the venue was very clean and all staff present were kind and helpful. The venue itself seems kind of small but this show was sold out and there was still plenty of room and the bands were viewable from basically everywhere in the venue.(also free cups of water were provided idk if that was the bands request or the venue but it was awesome).i listened to all the bands before hand on spotify to see how i liked them so I'll give short reviews of their performances. The line up was the bands jule vera- Ididnt really like her music very much through spotify but the band was absolutely phenomenal in person, they were all very talented individuals and the lead singer had an amazing voice 9/10. Next up was Don Broco- funky and hunky heavy metal/alternative/idk band that was very hype, all their songs brought a great energy to the crowd, the lead singer was very involved with the crowd and all their songs were amazing live, only problem I had was that the singer encouraged the crowd to make a "circle pit" and so on which honestly pissed off a good few in the crowd even though all of us went to see a band that is on the "heavier" side of things it was very apparent since jule Vera's performance that we were a very chilled out audience so I dont blame them for trying to encourage this form of behaviour but it really did start annoy the crowd (in retrospect this was good because the bouncers kicked anyone out that was just too rowdy bumping people too hard or crowd surfing so everyone had a better time after wards) but all in all Don broco is a must see live 9/10. The next in line was I the mighty, the band I looked most forward too after listened to their songs on spotify, the lead singers voice was great if not better than his recorded version, they were fun and kept the energy kind of going, sadly the crowd was a little more tired after jumping around to don brocos songs but still an amazing experience, highlight of their performance when lead singer of dance gavin dance came out for their song 'silver tongues' I had previously heard dance gavin dance in the background at warped tour and man was voice even more phenomenal in a smaller venue. All in all I the mighty was amazing live but maybe would have fun in better as second in the line up as don brocos songs had a lot more energy in them and would have had more of a rising in energies throughout the show but still amazing 9/10. Now last but not least our last night, the main band, what everyone was seemingly waiting for, their performance was... okay. Let me explain, the band itself is amazing composed of the most awesome and sweetest boys to band around but this performance suffered from two major flaws. The volume, and the fans. All the other bands had only a few minutes before going up to set up and mic test and everything, so they were all a little off but usually very loud and you could hear things like the bass and the singers voice. Our last night had the opposite. Maybe in the confusion of setting or the mic tests they made earlier were moved around a bit but honestly you could barely hear the main singers at all. Now the second problem being the fans did not help at all. All the people at the venue seemed to be suddenly transformed into scream banshees from hell once the main band went up, and it's understandable. Its okay fan girl and scream when you see your favorite band live. But for a hour long set?? It was horrendous. Luckily I had ear plugs handy and do not kid when I tell you I tried, I tried to not be that guy and I would take off my ear plugs from time to time but seriously it was too much. The visuals and dancing etc from the performance were really great and the energy the band brought was great too. Our last night would have been my favorite performance of the night if it went for these two issues, the music was amazing, the energy, the lighting, the songs lyrics, the band being out their kids, my girlfriend catching a drum stick at the end of it all! But sadly it turned into my least favorite of the night because of two things that could have been maybe fixed, turning up the volume and drowning out the screaming, 7/10. Overall even with the annoyances of rowdy people, screaming banshees, and fans who cut at meet and greets it was an amazing show. I definitely recommend this venue if you're going to see a band there and I recommend all of these bands live or not.

    Selective Hearing Tour

by Challenger1970 on 3/26/18Irving Plaza - New York

This show had 4 bands. I thought that the opening band, Jule Vera, was the best. Their style and quality really stood out from the rest. The crowd around me were really into them as well.

You should never miss Our Last Night

by MrNumber9 on 11/27/16Paradise Rock Club - Boston

This was a great show! Every band did a great job live and I'll try not to miss any of them when they're around, as you should do as well! All of these bands have great new albums out right now. It was very cool to see them all together playing a mix of new and old songs. I really enjoyed seeing The Color Morale live again, they always kill it. I've also seen Our Last Night many times live. This wasn't their all-time best show, but since they're so good, it was still great. I'm always looking forward to hearing more from them! I'll be doing an in-depth review on my show Ian Hates Music (we talk about music we love). You can hear it on all the regular podcast listening apps, just search 'Ian Hates'!

    OLN's Energy

by Ophelia12 on 12/1/15Brighton Music Hall - Boston

I have been going to Our Last Night shows for approximately three years now and they never disappoint. The band truly cares about their music and about their fans; this is shown in their raw passion when singing and performing; their devotion and love can also been seen on their faces and in the way with which they interact with the audience. The sound quality at Brighton Music Hall and the ambiance at the venue are pretty decent. The crowd was respectful and enjoyable. The bar staff was efficient and kind. I recommend seeing OLN if you haven't!

    What a great show!

by MrNumber9 on 11/30/15Brighton Music Hall - Boston

I'm very familiar with Palisades and Our Last Night. Between having their albums and seeing them live multiple times, I can tell you for sure that I knew I was going to be going to another great show! Luckily, I was right! Sold out show by the way! Unfortunately, due to timing I missed the first two bands. But, I was there for the full Palisades and Our Last Night sets in full respectively. Palisades came on first (of course) and their mix of post-hardcore/electronic/metalcore whatever you want to call it, got the crowd jumping right away. They do a good job of being part party band and part rock band. The only band thing I can say is that I felt their set was pretty short. I could see them coming out with another album and taking over a headlining role. I think they'd do really well in that situation. Looking forward to their next album and the next time they come around. When Our Last Night came on, it was like a home coming show. They're from NH, so it makes sense. They really killed this set. They played a mix of the new stuff (Younger Dreams) to some older (Age of Ignorance, Oak Island) and a few covers (Dark Horse, Radioactive, etc). Everyone was jumping and singing with almost every song. They do a great job with the double vocals and they know when to let the crowd take over. Both of these bands have very bright futures and always worth seeing. They're so talented and it's one of the reasons why rock music is always great to see in person.
