    our lady peace was awesome.....!!!!!!!!!!!

by raheemmachine on 7/29/09Troubadour - West Hollywood

This was a huge band in a very, very small club. They came out and Rocked from the start. Audience knew the songs . the sing-a-longs were great . Raine climbing in the rafters to get to the upper seating. The Set was great . they went through a lot of their songs old and new . Great show .

    Great show and venue

by spag on 7/29/09Troubadour - West Hollywood

OLP was fantastic as always. They really played a great mix of old and new. They played the most from Happiness... but they plated 2 or 3 from every album including their new one. The Troubadour is a great venue. Every spot in the house has good sight lines and it feels really intimate. Even the balcony feels right on top of the stage. This was my first show there and I would most definitely go see another there.

OLP Won Over By Intimate Troubador Crowd

by jwillinger on 7/29/09Troubadour - West Hollywood

Rippin guitar riffs and sharp angsty vocals is how Our Lady Peace sucks you in. I loved the cozy crowd setting at the Troubador and when OLP struck a familiar riff, you could feel all the emotions their music brings out of their fans and then screamed straight back at you, getting it all out. I think that must be why people love their music. Singing the emotional lyrics at the top of your lungs is a catharsis for whatever you're going through. It's not 'happy music' but you could tell the band was warmed by the feedback they got from their fans.

Our Lady Peace is rocking it better than ever

by DowntownJ on 7/29/09Troubadour - West Hollywood

I have been a fan of OLP for many years. I think this was my fourth live show. The last being in Philadelphia probably in 2002. They are back rocking it even better than before. The Troubadour was an ideal venue. It was cozy and the audience was filled with fans who, just like me, knew the words to every song. They played at least a song or two from every album as well as their brand new one, Burn, Burn. I had a blast the entire time. It was an excellent show and I recommend every one going if they have the chance to. This show was sold out and I am really enjoying their new cd that I received from buying the VIP ticket. I will be framing the autographed portion to hang on my wall. Our Lady Peace's was and still is my favorite band.

A concert, singalong and circus all rolled into on

by DanOLP on 7/29/09Troubadour - West Hollywood

I've never been to a concert where every single person in the audience knew every single lyric to every single song, not just the singles. My voice was completely shot by the end of the night so I can only imagine what it was like for Raine! This concert was insane, where else do you get the lead singer climbing up scaffolding and traversing skinny precarious railings just to come say hi to people in the balcony and then proceed to belt his ass off and climb down the balcony into the crowd!? Amazing show, Raine even said it was the best he's ever performed!

    OLP climbed to new heights

    by Drea5632 on 7/29/09Troubadour - West Hollywood

I have been waiting for about 8 years to see Our Lady Peace in concert and it was worth the wait. The Troubadour was a dream venue because it is so small you really couldn't be more than 15 people back from the stage. The guys sounded just as great in person as they do on their CD. Raine Maida has an amazing stage presence. You can hardly take your eyes from him. For a die hard fan or a casual observer, it was a great concert.
