Great live act.

Otoboke Beaver on Tour
Punk rock is alive and well as proven by the Otoboke Beaver-- an all-female four-piece Japanese punk/garage rock band from Kyoto. Following the release of their 2022 album, Super Champon, Otoboke Beaver are touring across Japan and North America on their 21-stop SUPER CHAMPON Tour in 2022. This will be their first tour since 2019 and their first tour in North America. The band consists of Accorinrin on lead vocal and guitar, Yoyoyoshie on guitar and vocals, Hiro-chan on bass and vocals, and Kahokiss on drums and vocals. The nonstop vocals, relentless guitar and head-banging beats are the perfect mashup for an exhilarating live performance. The band's first breakthrough came in 2016 when they released Okoshiyasu!! Otoboke Beaver, a compilation album released under the Damnably label. The following year the band was was earning praise from major outlets like Pitchfork, NPR and The Fader. In 2017, the group also made their debut performances at South by Southwest, Fuji Rock Festival and a sold-out show in London's world-renowned 100 Club. Otoboke Beaver released their second album, Itekoma Hits, in 2019, receiving acclaim from Pitchfork, Stereogum, Nylon, and BrooklynVegan.
Otoboke Beaver Live in Concert
Octoboke Beaver formed at Kyoto University's music club in Japan. Perhaps relating to their anti-establishment punk-rock personas, the group was named after a local "Love Hotel." In 2017, the group's song "Love Is Short" was on the top music charts in the UK for four weeks. In 2018 the band toured across the United Kingdom on their ATTYUUMA tour, as well as performed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Octoboke Beaver have also performed at the Lowlands Festival in the Netherlands and the Koyabu Sonic Festival in Japan. The group created the opening theme for "Susumu Inomata & 8 Mojo," a Japanese comedy series. With more than 91,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and songs such as "S'il vous plait," "Don't Light My Fire" and "datsu . hikage no onna" all with more than 1.5 million streams, there seems to be no slowing down for this unstoppable punk-rock group.

It was a great experience. There were no delays in the entry time or the band schedule. Everything was on time and the staff was very friendly. The bands were also nice, and AMAZING on stage.
So fun and so much energy from the band! So much better than just listening to their songs
2nd time seeing Obotoke Beaver - and not disappointed. Lots of crazy fun.
Guitarist was the star of the show, drummer shreds, bassist laid down some great thumping riffs, singer was somewhat of a buzz killer. Don't know why the singer would want to silence the crowd at a hard-core punk show. Great show overall!!
Absolutely the best band you will ever see live! Absolutely the best band you will ever see live!
So good I saw them twice on both coasts. First time I saw them was great and had a great crowd. Second time was just as good but the most sketchy crowd I’ve ever seen and someone threw a bottle at the singer cause some people suck. Amazing performers 10/10 recommend
Ganser (in Chicago) was the opening act and they were a really fun band. it was a good pairing with Otoboke Beaver. The lead singer had a good command of the stage and when someone got hurt in the mosh pit, she took the lead to stop the show and let that person be cared for. All musicians had a good jam going on and I can't wait to see them again.
I’ve seen them twice now, both times in Chicago - hands down the best live performance I’ve ever seen. Hoping for a third time
First of all, I liked the venue, Thalia Hall; it was the perfect size for the band. I was able to sit down but still see all of the band (of course I was on my feet most of the time!). I'm 63, well outside of Otoboke Beaver's target demographic, but I refuse to see bands with members over 40 years old; these "legacy" bands turn intoo their own tribute band. Back to Otoboke Beaver. WOW! First, they are all excellent musicians. Their energy level never dropped from beginning to end. The band is SO TIGHT!!!! Their music has many stops and starts, and at no time we're those stops and starts anything but perfectly synched. They all look like they are enjoying themselves greatly, Yoyoyoshie especially. Next time they come through Chicago, they'll be selling out a far larger venue!
The venue was perfect for them. They were loud as all hell and controlled the crowd in ways that few can. The pit was amazing and i felt exhilarated and awe struck leaving. Have them back. They focused on fun and i respect the hell out of that
Experience was amazing!!! They killed the show! Everybody went wild! The whole vibe filled the whole place with fun and joy! The only thing i wish is be specific with rules regarding of the type of bags to bring in and what not to bring. On the website it says one thing and in person its different. But overall Experience is so good! I am coming back here next year again to see Nemophilia! Pretty stoked! Thank you guys!
The show was amazing. Otoboke Beaver managed to get the moshing, crowd-surfing audience to be dead quiet before starting each song so they could break the silence with an audio assault. It was like a ride at a punk themed amusement park.
The 5 stars is for the band. Forcing a woman to use a clear purse where all contents are visible puts a woman in a vulnerable place. Being forced to carry a tiny purse, also an inconvenience. You physically go through all my contents with the clear purse, what’s the difference with a regular purse? Stop this ridiculous rule.
Last night I went to see Otoboke Beaver live at Union Stage in D.C. with a friend. I heard they were great live and thought it would be cool to check them out. Boy was I right! Their stage presence is full of energy, and they performed very well. The pit was very cordial, getting flashlights out to search for lost items and picking up the people who fell. Overall great experience and would recommend seeing them.
