Normally I go to the Amway Center for Basketball. But since the Magic aren't doing too good this season, I figured I'd try hockey as an alternative. Loved it, and it's not even major league! I'll be back.
The games are so much fun to attend. The best local sporting event we have in Orlando.
My first hockey game in about 10 years. I still have never been to a professional game. My friend and I really enjoyed it. Plenty of action and a great crowd that was louder then most of the Magic games I go to. A good environment for the whole family. Very good lower level seats for just under $20 a piece.

Great game and crowd. I'm not deaf but will be if I continue to go to games and they don't turn the volume of the public address system! Once can't even hear the person in the next seat.

My son and I had a great time! The Solar Bears and the organization have a great tandem. All the seats are good for any place you want to see the game. The prices for seats are very reasonable. The staff in the arena are very helpful and made the night enjoyable! The best part the Solar Bears won!!!
The game was great. I'm use to NHL but watching an ECHL team was definitely exciting.

This was out first Solar Bears game since they've returned, and it was a fantastic evening all around. Parking was easy (Geico garage), ticket price was great at $17.55 each, the fans were a lot of fun (but not too fun i.e. drinking/cursing) and Amway Arena is gorgeous. Also, we come from an NHL city but still found the quality of ECHL hockey to be top notch and very entertaining. Great event for displaced hockey fans. It's also perfect for first-timers, as all seats are good. Overall a very reasonable, and extremely fun night out for families. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is that it's minor league...but don't let that stop you!

Tickets were for my dad as a Christmas present. Loved the Amway Center. Comfy seats and great price for as close as we were sitting.
Orlando Solar Bears ice hockey in Amway Center is first class. This is from a native New Yorker veteran Ranger fan. Exciting game. Great fans. Incredible arena. Go Orlando!
Another great evening with the Solar Bears as they beat Fla 2-1. Added another Solar Bear fan as my son came to the game. His first ever visit to the new Amway Center was very enjoyable. The staff from the Parking Lot , Tickets,Ushers and everyone involved were all polite and informative. Nice evening. A hassle free evening. See you when Wheeling comes to town. Go Solar Bears !!! PS: Please sell programs and yearbooks!!!
We got great seats for a reasonable price! Loved the game and parking was worth the price.
Took the whole family and it was great fun. first time for the kids and they really enjoyed it.
lower bowl, 17$ seats, fantastic view just as good as our 13$ front row upper bowl view, So happy Solar Bears are back!
Great time: Personally feel that we go to minor league hockey game to be entertained with great mindless FUN and that's all that matters. The action is always in your face and intense. Even intermission is a blast just about 2.5 hours of FUN FUN FUN If you have never been to a minor league game its about as much fun as you can legally have with your clothes on. You have to get into the game, get into the crowd, and just let yourself go for a couple of hours. Those of us with wives and kids with high stressed jobs and mortgages dental bills, car payments and homes worth half what we paid. Need this from time to time. ONLY 2 draw back is beer, food and drinks are a bit pricey for a family on a budget so sneak in a shot or two before going in and if you have a significant other with a large man purse take along a few snacks. coats with large pockets or a flask in the boot sock. getting gouged $7 for $0.50 worth of soda is criminal. That's the nature of the beast of any arena or venue you go to these days. Looking forward to when they get the train up and running so I can get hammered on the way to the arena and be sober by the time I return Believe the rail system is going to make central florida a more attractive place to have mindless mindless fun so hurry up and get it going SUNRAIL So PARTY ON BE safe and don't let the man keep you down. So I even throw my garbage down so that they know I did not buy there over priced gummy bears. secondly The home game schedule really sucks with large gaps between home games so if your a working person its hard to get a group together to fit the the solar bears into all our schedules. I would recommend single home night each week for every team in the league Well anyway I know that Orlando tax payers spent millions keeping that dog of a magic team in town so we have to cater to them. I have been to a few NBA games but it does not compare to the mindless fun of ML hockey. If you like boobs babes and man on man action you will love ML hockey. MINDLESS MINDLESS FUN. Nothing to analyze don't even need to know her name win lose who cares. Just something to root for for a couple of hours and it will not leave you depressed like when your college team drops three points in the BCS standings. AGAIN MINDLESS MINDLESS FUN like strip clubs its not your wife its not your daughter so enjoy its there job to entertain you if they don't like it they can find another line of employment its not your problem. If it makes you feel bad Don't go to strip clubs. Did I say its mindless mindless fun. LIVE LOVE & LAUGH lifes to short to do anything else. its all we can do. GO SOLAR BEARS
