Good energy.... would go again. The seat was great.
Super fun, lots of energy, great music, great food.
Amazing way to spend time with my daughter. The team is playing so well together fighting with all they have. The fans are so great and friendly.
Great fun. Stadium Layout is a little strange but is a great experience
My family and I love to watch our Solar Bears take control over the den!
The games are always fun to go to. The players play there hearts out and the fans are just as passionate.
We had a blast at the Solar Bears game! It was very entertaining despite a big loss by the team. They held events/games during the intermissions. The concession stand prices were OUTRAGEOUS! It was more expensive than Disney. I'd recommend eating/drinking before you get to the venue. The seats are totally worth the price, though.
It sucked. My team lost. LOL! The arena is first class venue. The downside of watching minor league sports in a major league venue is that the concession prices are major league as well. The sight lines are excellent. The PA announcer needs more education on the aspects of the game. I believe that part of it could be that the fans are Floridians and may not be entirely up to snuff on the nuances of hockey. Seriously, we enjoyed ourselves immensely.
My daughter and I have enjoyed going to live Lightening games for years, but she lives out of state and visits infrequently. For her recent visit, I suggested a Solar Bears game, our first one. We had a blast! The play action was slow and too cautious at first, but suddenly the team picked up momentum. Our Club seats were amazing, and so was the fan base. So much enthusiasm and fun! We even met and took pictures with the mascot afterwards. Will definitely see them play again.
We usually watch Manchester Storm in the U.K. Their rink holds 1900 when jam-packed and its sightlines are lousy. A bit different to be with almost 10,000 folk in an arena with great views! Comfortable, modern, wi-fi enabled arena. Warm enough in the seating area (our home rink is a 3 sweater venue!) and in the concourses. First game of the season, and the first goal was for the Solar Bears! Really great atmosphere, family-friendly and always something going on in the period breaks with on-ice and off-ice fun and games. If you've never done hockey and are on holiday in Orlando then this is the way to see it!
Great affordable entertainment. Always have a good time when watching the solar bears play. The only down side is Amways concessions prices are a little heavy.
We had a great time at the Solar Bears home opener. This was their first game since the tragedy at the Pulse nightclub, and the Solar Bears did a wonderful job honoring those lost and the first responders. Although this was a solemn occasion, it quickly turned into a fun night of hockey. We bought some cheaper seats but still had a great view of the action. Everyone at Amway was great, from the merchandise stand and concessions to the cheerleaders that greeted us as we entered. This was our kids first hockey game, and I think they're big fans now. They've worn the Solar Bear sweatshirts everyday since the game.
No its not the NHL but it is an amazing experience. The solar bears provide a solid hockey experience at an affordable price. Where else can you get lower bowl tickets for under 20 bucks for ANY hockey game and still see a fast paced excited game? Come see these guys skate and you'll be hooked!
Enjoyed the facility but not the level of play. Service and prices at little table for four was poor and way too expensive for this type of event.
OK, we're Brits who have never seen Ice Hockey before. Nevertheless, this was a fantastic experience. Recommend you watch a YouTube video on the rules before going as this ensured we had a modicum of understanding before arriving! Solar Bears are a minor league team (i.e. this isn't top-grade Ice Hockey) but this didn't matter. The whole setup is designed for families. Great entertainment throughout the game. The announcers are very partisan but that's what to expect. We had seats in block 116 which were close to the action and great value.
I actually enjoyed the game. it was my first time at a hockey game and I thought it was great. The only thing was we were in section 101. My babies tried so hard to see themselves on the jumbo screen, but the camera never came to our section. My only advice is makes sure that you scan every area; so every guest can have that memorable moment.
I sat in the front row of one of the Case Suites and it is the best seat in the house. High enough that you can see everything but not so high that the action is too far away.
I haven't gone to a hockey game in over 8 years. I was very excited to go to another hockey game. This was my first Solar Bear game and it was amazing!!! Tickets were super easy to get and scan on my phone. They weren't too expensive either! Game was entertaining and the events during the intermissions were fun too
Following a big win in front of of Saturday's record crowd, the first period of Sunday's Orlando Solar Bears vs. Adirondack Thunder contest was one of the single best periods of hockey I'm ever seen. Brilliant performances by the entire offense, with goals scored by Rylan Schwartz, Brady Vail and Rory Rawlyk in the first period, Chris Bradley scoring his first goal as a Solar Bear in the second, and Denver Manderson adding icing to the cake in the third. Goalie Ryan Massa turned in a masterful performance, stopping all but three of the Thunder's 40 shots on goal. Shout out to Mark Louis who logged over 30 minutes of penalty time, and was finally escorted off the ice toward the end of the third period.
I took my brother, nephew, and daughter to their first hockey game! We enjoyed the game immensely. Will definitely be repeating this experience.
