The solar bears cater to all ages,and keep you interested in the game. also in between periods they have fun events going on. tickets are really cheap and fun will be had by all
Never seen a live hockey match before...so much fun..didn’t have a clue rules of the game but it didn’t matter.They have so much fun things happening through the game with music,kiss cams etc....only 30% full but those that were there were certainly not quiet.we would/will definitely go again.
Myself, my husband, and our two boys went to our first hockey game ever and had a blast. We have been to the Amway Center before so we knew the venue was great but we loved the fast paced action during this game. We will be back.
Just a plain, good old time. Love the atmosphere at the game and the ticket prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be back.
A better experience than I was expecting! We visited from England. We had rink side seats and the bears took a commanding 3-0 lead (over the Swamp Rabbits, who they lost to the night before!). It was a school day (10:30 faceoff),so in all honesty I was expecting it to be a bit annoying with lots of screaming kids. However, they made the atmosphere and credit to the Solar Bears for the show they put on. Food and drink very reasonably priced, tickets great value and despite a 4-3 OT loss, a great day had by all!
This was the 3rd visit to Amway Center for my wife & me to see the Orlando Solar Bears play hockey. Our previous visits were a pair of games back in February 2013, and the facilities have been well-maintained and in some cases upgraded since then. Concession choices have been expanded (don't stop at the first hot dog stand like we did before you check out all the other options), and there have been refreshing changes to the interactive hockey & basketball fan display areas around the main concourse. Sightlines within the arena space remain excellent throughout, and the audio-visual presentations are among the best in minor pro hockey. The lower bowl seats are generously wide with decent legroom, though the seats are a bit low. The arena staff is friendly & helpful, and very welcoming to the frequent groups of out-of-town guests. With the bonus of a win by the home team, our game night experience was well worth the time spent.
I'm a hockey fan and season ticket holder so going to watch the Bears play is a fun night out for me and my kid regardless. The sport of ice hockey can only be appreciated up close and in person. Orlando is blessed with a great venue in the Amway. Bears tickets are cheap by any other entertainment option. The Solar Bear team consists of players from the US, Canada and other countries whom are either chasing their dream or hanging on to their dream of playing pro hockey. The real life drama that plays out on the ice during any given game is far more intense and way more interesting than anything you will find on tv or the movies. Arena staff is great, the beer is cold and seats are cheap and the boys play incredibly hard. See you at the rink.
It was my first hockey match and the Solar Bears were an excellent team to watch. I loved the seats, I loved the beer, and the overall game experience was lively and energetic.
Great time the players are hard playing Loved to attend a sports event where the players and fans stand and respect our great flag brought tears to my eyes

Had a good time, nice to see some affordable hockey in Florida, from Wisconsin and regular Badger Hockey fans. It was great to see these guys give there all. NHL is nice, but I enjoy watching the guys fight to get to the top.

Purchasing our tickets & parking pass on Ticketmaster was a breeze. ECHL hockey is a super value and the Amway Center must be the best arena in the league.
If sporting events are your thing, I urge you to take in a Solar Bears game at the Amway. Good seats are inexpensive and the action on the ice is non stop. If hockey doesn't interest you go watch a game just for the fun of it. Three hours of entertainment for less than a movie would cost, and far more entertaining. Try it on date night. The Amway is a first rate arena with friendly staff. Concessions are a bit pricey but no more so than a movie theater. Parking is convenient and cheap also. I always look forward to hockey night in Otown.

I highly recommend buying the parking pass. Seats were great. Plenty of ushers to assist you with parking, leaving, directions, very pleasant experience.
Other than being interrogated upon entry at the amway arena. Personall did not know what they were doing. Facility is top notch.
Team Just Didn't Show Up for this Game Back Up Goalie was Not Ready to Defend Against a Team Trying to Come from Behind to Even the Series This Game Should of Been the Wining Game for the Solar Bears to Advance to the Next Round Refs Called Nothing as far as Penalties were Concerned
Booked tickets to go the Ice Hockey as always wanted to go to an American Sports event, and was not disappointed!! Whole experience was so organised and straightforward, from the parking to the table service. The Amway Center staff really know how to look after people. The whole experience was brilliant for the family, the match was really good and the entertainment in between the periods was really engaging and funny. The whole family left feeling like we'd had an really good night, I'd go as far to say it was the highlight of the holiday ahead of Disney!!
I love the solar bears and the game was a chance to catch up with some friends. Only thing that would have been better is a solar bears win. We'll be back on Sunday.
