Solar Bears are always a great time. Especially vs. The Everblades. They do a great job social distancing as they only sell a few seats in a row to help with that. Masks are mandatory, and people do a good job with them generally. For the price point, it really is a good alternative for some kind of entertainment in a covid environment.
Had a Great Evening, Solar Bears vs Newfoundland Growlers , Hockey Fights Cancer Night. Special Jerseys Worn that were later auctioned off to high bidder. Solars Bears Won!!!! Food Court Special before the game outside was great. Lots of samples to try out. Nice Crowd !!! Had a Great Time!!!!
We were able to get good seats at a decent price. Great action and plenty of entertainment from the local crowd.
Nothing really special, just wanted to attend a game since we haven’t gone in about 2 1/2 seasons. No hurry to go again anytime soon.
Fan Conscious I am an old pro hockey player and my wife and I were impressed with both the level of play and the entertainment,
Ordering tickets there were seats available that we ordered which when arrived we were told they were not safe and needed to sit in our correct seats. These were our seats. We had kids with us but one of the adults sat where the ‘unsafe’ area was. Seems there was confusion with the removal of some seats. The Family in front of us had the same issue as the seat one of them was suppose to be in didn’t even exist.
I live in Jacksonville Florida and I’ve been a Solar Bears fan since the 90’s when they played at the old arena with the original team. Jacksonville has had a few hockey teams since I moved here in 1990 but they seem to come and go. When ECHL announced that Orlando was having hockey back I made sure I had my tickets for that opening night in October of 2013. They played the Everblades and I think it went to 11 rounds in the shoot out. What a blast! Since then I try to make 1 game a month during the season and also my son and I went to the All Star game in January of ‘15, that was a great time! it’s definitely worth the drive. The Amway arena is one of the best arenas I’ve been to. Plus the entire time at the game is so fun, even if the Bears lose it’s still an incredible time being there. I think personnel in the entertainment production side from other arena need to attend a game at the Amway canter, THIS is how a sports venue is run! Job well done to the staff at Amway and the hockey players and staff! So many great memories in this place! Thank you!
People sitting in seats that were not theirs. Constantly getting up and moving throughout the game. Tickets should be checked when entering lower bowl sections. Otherwise had a very pleasurable experience.
Although the food options were good. It was really annoying that the food closed at the end of the 2nd quarter. We were hoping to get some food for the way home (dinner), but everything was closed. Could you leave the food open until the end of the game?
Easy access, wasnt bad at all. The hockey game was so much fun to watch! Great family time during the holidays! Definitely do again!
The food and drinks were good, there was a great fight on the ice, we won 4 to 0, and it was quick to get in and out of the event. Can’t wait for the next game!
Had a great time with my grandson, enjoyed the game. Outstanding atmosphere in the arena.
I purchased our tickets for the Solar Bears Teddy Bear Toss Game. After purchased the date for the Teddy Bear Toss was changed from Friday to Saturday. We enjoyed going to that game. We purchased $$$ teddies to be toss. What a let down.
Great venue and a high energy game. Beer prices on Thursday was only $5.00. Food was OK. Very easy entry and exit to the event. Worth attending!!!!
purchasing the ticket was fine, getting the parking ticket was an issue. Called the help line several times, promised a call back, never came. When I got through they told me to call the parking company, parking company didn't know anything about it. Called again and they said the first help guy told me the wrong info, very confusing and wasted a lot of my time.
Bought the tickets and parking pass. The idea is good, however a bit cumbersome. When the tickets are received in the email, you can access the tickets and see the parking pass. You can then save the tickets to your wallet, however to get the parking pass, you then have to open another app to access the pass and it is not able to be saved to the wallet. again, great idea, poor delivery of the parking pass. Very cumbersome process that needs to be fixed.

Great game great seats and the folks around us where fun. It’s rare for my son to like certain sports but he loved going to the game thank you
This was my first game in Florida. I’ve gone to many, many games across the Eastern US and Canada and seen many levels of hockey and arenas. The game itself was exciting even though the Solar Bears lost. I enjoyed the arena. I only had the popcorn and a drink but I was pleased with it.
It was a great time and I had a blast. The only con was that the beer was warm, my friends and I tried different stands and every time our beer was warm
