Outstanding. The most unique musical event I've ever seen - part ballet, part chorus & part orchestra.

    Great Collaboration

The ballet, Bach Chorus and orchestra worked well together.

    Great Performance - bad parking

by orlandodoug on 4/21/13Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - Orlando

Loved the show, didn't like the video which gave away music and visuals. Wished more of the choir was from the balcony. Missed the "roasting swan" dance of years ago. And they really have to change the parking plan - have the cars enter at the FAR end of the lot rather than have them back up for 3 blocks at the entrance to Bob Carr!

Ballet with live music - awesome

by BachT2 on 4/20/13Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - Orlando

We enjoyed this collaboration between the Orlando Ballet and the Bach Festival of Winter Park. The attention to detail in the music and dance was amazing. Great job.

Bach plus ballet equals amazing experience

by BachT2 on 4/20/13Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - Orlando

This was an epic experience - the combination of the Orlando Ballet, Winter Park Bach Festival Choir & Orchestra, and soloists. There is no substitute for live music and live dance. Carmina Burana is often performed as a concert only, but this presentation demonstrated the need to include dance. Congratulations to all involved. Hope to see another collaboration soon.

    Carmina Burana was great!

by Anonymous on 4/18/13Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - Orlando

The Orlando Ballet is always amazing, but the addition of the Bach Festival Choir as well as the orchestra just made it even more special! I've enjoyed the ballet's productions for years now, and I always look forward to what they will do next!

    Carmina Burana - a Masterpiece

by Naryne on 4/17/13Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - Orlando

The music, the choral group, the ballet, oh my! What a feast for the eyes & ears! Absolutely loved the music - I could not imagine this ballet being done without live music! The choreography, however, lacked "spunk" - I love Robert Hill & his innovative ballet moves, but this one was lacking in taking chances and adventure.

    Carmina Burana

by Anonymous on 4/17/13Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - Orlando

This was an outstanding performance. I've always liked Carmina Burana on its own, but having the ballet performed only added to the overall enjoyment. I hope there are other dual performances by the the Orlando Ballet and the Bach Festival Society in the future as I will be there!

A wonderful, actually exceptional, performance. I was filled with an outpouring of love for the company and the chorus and the orchestra. What an event...what an undertaking.

    Carmina Burana was fantastic!

by Janice8 on 4/17/13Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - Orlando

The Bach Choir was wonderful -- glad that young people were involved. The dancers and choreography was so interesting. I loved how the beginning was repeated at the end -- it was great to have that second look. The Orlando Ballet was fantastic in every way!

    Best performance ever

by Gene2 on 4/16/13Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - Orlando

I attended Saturday evening up close, left side. The soloists were load and clear for a wonderful performance. Sunday afternoon, I sat in the balcony with a better view of the dancers. The soloists were a little harder to here, but the chorus and orchestra music was good. Better value for price.

    Carmina Burana

Excellent, , by far, one of the top 5 performances by the Orlando Ballet Company. Worth every penny spent.

    Carmina Burana was amazing!

by WillFindTime on 4/16/13Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - Orlando

From the very beginning the pounding rhythms, powerful chorus, vocal soloists, and expressive dancing kept me engaged.

    carmina burana

by okie27 on 4/16/13Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - Orlando

In 24 years of concert going in Orlando this is the single most thrilling concert/performance we have ever seen, bar none. Would have paid to see it again!!1

Too many children talking during performance.

by Anonymous on 4/16/13Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - Orlando

Well performed show but it was ruined by the constant talking between two children and their mothers. When asked to please be quite for the consideration of others, they ignored us. Venue staff would not remove them or ask them to move.

    Absolutely fantastic

by Nottodeaf on 4/16/13Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - Orlando

We have seen/heard Carmina Burana perhaps 6 or 7 times in the past and this collaboration with the Orlando Ballet was absolutely the best. I don't know if when I see/hear Carmina Burana again in the future whether I will be able to enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the presentation Sunday afternoon.

Carmina Burana was "in your face" magnificent!

by MayPofFrance on 4/16/13Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - Orlando

Commanding sound with the Bach Festival Choir and Orchestra. The soft (childrens) voices from the audience added to the sensation creating a spiritual "surround sound". The soloist's were each in themselves chilling and perfect to the entire production. The ballet was transcendent. Dancers got to shine and showcase their talent in wonderful ways. Costumes were befitting this production. Hearing this is Latin was very compelling. Brava and Bravo to the entire production of Carmina Burana.

    Once in a lifetime Experience!

by magandjoe on 4/15/13Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - Orlando

I've loved ballet, my whole life and I've loved Carmina Burana (with not only orchestra, but 150 member chorus), for half of it. To have the 2 together was just so very awesome! And the price was so reasonable, so we could afford it.
