The band was excellent. Unfortunately, the acoustics were horrible. I don't know if they had a bad sound engineer or if the acoustics in that particular room are just bad.
Excellent concert! I wish they could have played longer. I did not want the night to end!
I was hypnotized through the entire concert. Energy was amazing from the time they walked on stage till the last song. The entire crowd was on their feet for the final song "Don't Bring Me Down". It's been 5 days since the concert & my husband and I are still on Cloud 9! PLEASE.. they need more venue's in the USA. The Tri-State area would be a bonus. We do travel to see them.
Performance was everything I could wish for as an old ELO fan. It was so loud that it was painful. We had to move back.
They were great as usual. Mik Kaminski was amazing on the violin. He makes the group. Wish we could have meet him in person to tell him that. It was a shame that Louis Clark was so crippled up.
I had been awaiting their return since 2006. When I saw that The Orchestra (ELO revisited) was coming to Atlantic City, I had to be there. They started with hit after hit, but very laid back, mellow, seeming perfect for the "older" set (of which I now am one). I enjoyed the music but began to think it was the last o their concerts I would be attending. Then they played Xanadu........... And Fire on High........and all the really great hits. They hit their stride and the energy became electric. When the band was introduced and Parthenon Huxley said, "Do you want to Rock and Roll?" it was time to just hold on for a roller coaster of fun. The hits kept coming, the music was hot, the audience became even more on fire. When there was the sing-a-long to "Don't Let Me Down" we were as loud as the casino. I thoroughly enjoyed the concert and can't wait for the next one. I recommend it to all!!!
from start to finish 1 hour and 40 minutes of elo hits, fantastic show, place was rocking, mik with his blue violin was outstanding, had local female opera singer do the high part in rockaria,,added nice touch
show was great playlist was real strong - if you like elo this was it sound a little too loud
The show was fantastic! The venue was small and not a bad seat in the house. The group was energetic and did a great job playing their hits. I think they missed a few really good ones, but they did a really good job of playing a full spectrum of their catalog. Only thing that I think they missed was talking a little more and giving the audience just a brief history on the group and some of the songs and albums over the years, but the music was outstanding!! Go see them if you haven't!!
I went to this concert on Friday, Sept. 5, 2014 at the Golden Nugget Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. It was my first time at this venue. It was smaller than I thought. My seats were center stage so I had great view of the band. Orchestra was amazing! I love their music and knew most of the songs. It was a bit loud and there were some feedback problems but overall I would go see them again.
Orchestra consisted of 3 members of the original ELO, 3 members of ELO II and 3 members from New Jersey. Music was great since 2 of the 3 original members handled the electronics for the orchestra music and one was the original electric violin player. Since Jeff Lynn is not there vocals are missing. Some song vocals were good but some songs needed something else. All in all a fun night listening to ELO music.
Every song was a hit. Great show! Great Music. The best it could be without Jeff Lynn. I would definitely recommend this concert to any ELO lovers.
We went expecting a flash back in time. The songs were familiar but the arrangements were fresh and updated with a real rock sound. Voices were strong and the band's sound was terrific.
Great, but short! Only 80 minutes including encore.
Band sounded great, some problem with a mic, and lighting was terrible.
What a great night. The Orchestra delivered a delightful show with nostalgic classics from the 70s and 80s. The harmonies were excellent, the sound was amazing. One of the best shows I've seen, and I've been to lots of concerts. Eric Troyer sounds incredible, Gordon Townsend is a solid powerhouse Parthenon Huxley was so much fun to watch and listen to, and Mik Kaminski is simply amazing, Of course, Glen Burtnik is always the cherry on top of it all. :) Atmosphere was laid back and enjoyable. The comments from people around us were that of amazement and joy. Just a good show. Recommend highly!

Former members of Electric Light Orchestra (ELO minus Jeff Lynne) gave a very entertaining hour and half concert. Mik Kaminski on electric violin was outstanding and gives the band their unique rock style. Song selection was good but could have been great if they had included "Turned to Stone" and "Roll over Beethoven".
