An incredible experience of a lifetime!

    by Juliana on 7/18/23

If you're a fan of orchestral music and a fan of one piece, this concert is definitely for you. It was incredible hearing the classic pieces from the show. Hearing "We Are!"sung live by the legend himself, Hiroshi Kitadani, and the original composer accompany him, Kohei Tanaka, was just an absolute unreal dream. This concert was the best last-minute decision I've ever made.

10/10 An amazing job bringing my favorite anime, and an overseas culture for all of the audience to experience.

Nice, but not made by a One Piece Fan

    by Mara on 7/18/23

I want to start out by saying that I truly enjoyed the symphony. The only issue I had was that the clips used could have been better. Some important and exciting moments in the anime were shown, but other things fan would have wanted to see were completely skipped over. Additionally, there was an unnecessarily long amount of time given to more trivial moments. It gave me the impression that whoever composed the video to accompany the music was either not someone who was a fan or particularly versed in One Piece, or that they were provided only very specific episodes to utilize. There was a lot that I wish was included and other things I could have done without. I was pleasantly surprised by the live vocals, which were absolutely amazing. Overall, still a very enjoyable experience to attend once.

    Great Show

    by BC on 7/18/23

Great Show. If you are a fan of One Piece, you would love it. If you are not a fan of One Piece, you would still love the great performance of the Orchestra. One of the best show I've been to.

This was an amazing experience and any one piece fan would be doing themselves a disservice by not attending this.

Amazing concert and venue, terrible location

    by Bunny on 7/18/23

This concert was amazing and I give my deepest thanks to everyone who put on this show, especially everyone who came from Japan oversees to give the fans of One Piece such a delightful treat. The concert hall was gorgeous too, staff was lovely and helped answered questions when needed to, everything was great for our fan experience. My only complaint is the location. As someone who has lived in southern California my whole life, the middle of Hollywood is one of the busiest and traffic filled areas imaginable. Me and my fiance drove from Covina, leaving early so we could possibly have time to arrive before the show and hopefully get merchandise. It took us an extra 30 minutes to get around the traffic just to get in the parking garage and we barely made it in to sit down before the first song. Then it took us over an hour to get out of Hollywood because the Hollywood Bowl let out before we did (some friends complained about it taking an hour to get out of the parking structure but it was smooth for us cause we left one song early before the crowd, that's just how it is with any concert). If you bring back this wonderful experience another year, if you can think about holding it another venue such as the Walt Disney concert hall or elsewhere, it would help a lot. Hollywood just unfortunately is very busy and hard to maneuver, esp on a Saturday night. I know it's not your fault about the Hollywood traffic, which I am not pointing fingers to the concert or the Dolby. Just would help in the future if we can get a venue that's easier to access in Los Angeles, that's all! Other than that, everything that night was perfect :) Oh and possibly make it accessible to get merchandise during the intermissions, if you can. A friend said they couldn't but I didn't try so Im not 100% sure.

Amazing and Great time for everyone

    by Enew on 7/18/23

Loved the performance, the singers, speakers and pianist were very fun and lively and very kind. The audience was very respectful and loved it. I appreciated the venue asking phones to be put away. They handled getting into the show well with the large crowd and seating was easy. The show itself was phenomenal and everyone was signing along and engaged. I only wish they had lyrics on the screen at times. But I loved it overall. Fantastic show. Hope they do more tours. Beautiful music and fun visuals to go along with really no spoilers if you're keeping up with the series.
