About
The Omaha Storm Chasers are a Minor League Baseball team based in Papillion, Nebraska. They play in the Triple-A East league and are the affiliate team of the Kansas City Royals. The team's colors are royal blue, twister gold and blackout black, and they are also known as the "Chasers" or the "Storms." The Storm Chasers have five mascots: Stormy, Casey the Lion, Vortex, Sue Nami, and Sizzle.
The Storm Chasers play their home games at Werner Park, which is located in Sarpy County, Nebraska. The stadium has a capacity of 9,023 and was opened in 2011.
