I thought they put out 110%. They are complete professional and good sports. Thier skating abilities were fanomal (spelling). It was as if thier skates were an extension of themselfs. I was totally amazed. Thanks to the announcers I understood what was going on. I loved it.
Thw MAC was very cold inside, although event was good.
Started out good but music was too low and 2 girls tallking in mics thruout just babbled on. They didn't even notice when teams came back out at half of 1st match. Second match was stopped because the refs seemed to have screwed up the scoring. Seemed like 15 minutes so we left. Just seemed pretty rinky dinky. Won't go back.
The event was great. The only prob was no floor seating.
Great atmosphere and a great team! The ORG always puts on a show you won't want to miss!
I don't remember the section we were sitting in but the play by play was inaudible. I love coming out to the bouts because its fun but I'd really like to hear the play by play.
I was really dissappointed with this event. I LOVED watching this as a kid and thought it would be fun....wrong! Boring...was amazed at how out of shape most of the women were that participated. We left after the first period.
WOW! The Omaha Roller Girls were AWESOME! We had never been to an event before, but their logo caught my eye in a Ticketmaster e-mail and I thought rollerderby would be something fun to do and my husband and son agreed. At first (at the game) I did not understand what was going on, but my husband bought me a program, which explained the rules so then I knew when to CHEER! We will CERTAINLY go again when the Roller Girls come back to town in April.
Very lame. Roller Derby on a flat track? They couldn't get up to speed. It was all in slow motion!
It was totally Awesome! A sold out event. I was wise to buy tickets ahead of time...and save not having to wait in line only to be turned away. I will do this again...both watch the NCDGs and buy from Ticketmaster.
THE AAA GIRLS WAS KINDA OF BORING , BUT THE ALL STAR GIRLS WERE BETTER EXCEPT FOR THE SCORE . WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE THEM PLAY A BETTER TEAM !! I STILL THINK THEY COULD WIN .... GO ORG ALL STARS !!!!!!!!!!!!!
