OLD DOMINION IN CONCERT:
Nashville-based country rockers Old Dominion hit the ground running in 2015 with their acclaimed debut album Meat and Candy, and followed up with boot-stomping sets on tour that proved their performance chops match their songwriting skills. Feel-good chart-toppers like "Break Up with Him" and "Snapback" practically beg to be sung along to, and fans are more than happy to accompany frontman Matthew Ramsey as he casts his heartwarming croon over the crowd. BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Old Dominion formed in Nashville, TN in 2007 but the band's roots trace back to Virginia, the home state of four of its five members. Taking their moniker from Virginia's nickname, Old Dominion started playing shows around Music City in the late '00s as a way to showcase music some of its members had written for popular country artists like The Band Perry and Chris Young. They soon discovered a unique musical chemistry and began penning songs as a group, and in 2014 they released their self-titled debut EP to a Top 10 spot on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart. A year later they crowned the US Country Airplay chart with "Break Up With Him," the lead single from their debut full-length Meat and Candy. The album itself was a surprise crossover hit, peaking at No. 3 on the Top Country Albums chart and cracking the Top 20 on the mainstream Billboard 200. Since then the band has wowed on tour with powerhouse performances that have fans eagerly awaiting their sophomore album.
Great concert! The band sounds as good if not better live than they do in their recordings. Their between-song banter is fun and unpretentious and they seem to be having as much fun as those of us in the audience. My only negative feedback was that the two opening acts played WAY too long.
They were amazing! The opening acts were good and entertaining. Old Dominion was awesome and put on a great show! Can't wait to see them again!
Absolutely amazing concert old dominion is so talented and knows how to put on a good show. If you have the Opportunity to see them live it's a must!! They wrote so many songs for big artists. No matter what they sing they sound amazing!! Can't wait to see them again!!!!!!
Awesome band!!! Sounded better than my download. So happy we got to see them again before they truly explode. Tickets we cheap enough to take my three kids who also thought show and performance was awesome.
This is hands down the best concert I have ever been to. It was a great venue and the band was absolutely amazing better in person then on the radio. I actually have a crush on a boy band lke I was 16 again. They really are my number one band now everything from the music to guitar playing to day drinking was amazing. Would pay alot of money to see them again.

I have been to a lot of small venue shows but Old Diminion brought it Sunday night. They were funny, full of energy, totally working the crowd into the show and just an all around great group of guys. They sound as amazing live as they do on their album. I would see them over and over again no doubt. AWESOME SHOW!!

My husband and I had no idea what we would discover at this concert. I had heard of Old Dominion but not him. We loved it and both agreed that we would see them again! They truly knew how to entertain the crowd with the songs and their witty humor!
This was the second time I seen OLD DOMINION! I was even more impressed than I was last time. These guys have definitely come a long way! You can tell they are still enjoying themselves and having fun on stage. They obviously love what they do. Every song on the set list was great. Got to hear not yet released tracks (which were amazing, can't wait for their CD to come out), also some of their older songs (which by the way are on every one of my playlists in spotify) and got to hear them play their songs that others have recorded. I didn't want the show to end, when they came back out and sang "Ain't No Sunshine" everyone including myself were so fired up, and their cover of that was amazing by the way! Honestly best concert I've been to since I saw them last May! Looking forward to seeing them again in the near future. Not only are they amazing at what they do, but they are an amazing group of guys! Very humble and down to Earth and love to interact with the crowd. KEEP ROCKIN GUYS!!

I've been listening to these guys for about a year on satellite radio and I finally went to see them live in a great venue. I was not disappointed at all!! These guys rocked it!! They played a wide variety of songs-their recordings and songs they've written for other artists. Their sound has a great mix of soulful, rockish, ballady, and flat out catchy. It's no wonder they're opening for Kenny Chesney this summer!! Can't wait to see them again and hear whatever music they put out next!!
Great band at a great historic venue. Overwhelming surprised by the talent that they have shared with sooo many artists with their expert song writing. They were great with the crowd getting them involved. Overall a great band. Definitely recommend to go see if u get a chance before they go big
So, I'm ready to see the band in concert again at Hollywood Casino 4/25/15. Bought their CD that night and have been enjoying it since, but cannot beat live music!
