    Amazing Show

by RubyRed25 on 1/12/16Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra Beach

This family and these dogs are amazing! It is a great story how they achieved success. As god owners and lovers, it make you appreciate the skill and talent even more. I can not believe how well these dogs are trained! Considering they are rescue dogs make it all the more impressive. The show was so fun to watch live. We brought our 14 month old son and he literally could not take his eyes off the action. My wife and I enjoyed the show just as much. I agree somewhat with some of the other reviews that more dogs would be outstanding but understand that they need breaks, set changes, etc. The filler acts were funny and entertaining and every time the dogs came back out, it was even better! The show is wonderful for everyone but perfect for families and children. I would highly recommend.

    Brought me to tears

by HappyCamper1959 on 1/10/16Broward Center - Ft. Lauderdale

After reading some of the reviews on earlier shows, I was wondering if those people saw the same show I did. I saw the show today and it was magnificent! The Sunday matinee was sold out and that's quite a feat here, going up against NLF playoff football. Of course you don't see dogs doing tricks for 2 hours. The Olate family spices it up with humor, stories, short films... an immensely satisfying entertainment experience, like I was watching an old episode of the Ed Sullivan show or something. Funny, touching, NOT boring for the kids at all. Go see them!

Great for kids, better for adults

by RussianHiller on 1/10/16Clark Center - Arroyo Grande

This was not your ordinary dog show. This was a true variety show. I wondered if I would get bored watching 90 minutes of dog tricks, or if my kids would pay attention. I'm happy to say the show was thoroughly entertaining and the kids were on the edge of their seats. The tricks alone are amazing enough, but there's enough skits and comedy routines involving the dogs to keep things moving along. You won't see any Frisbees flying. What you WILL see are dogs with personality, doing things (and NOT doing things) that leave you laughing or in tears. As a family show, I could not recommend this show any stronger!

    Disappointing

by JillVas on 11/23/15The Santander Performing Arts Center - Reading

I was very disappointed in this show. I spent about $200 for our family of four to attend and I was expecting more! It feels as though the Olate family was not quite ready for the big leagues considering most of the time was spent on "filler" material. We had to listen to the son sing an Ed Sheeran song (what does that have to do with dogs?), watch the son and his wife juggle and ride around on unicycles (what does that have to do with dogs?), and even the "dog" parts seemed half hazard and not very rehearsed. One skit involved a dog not listening and doing what the trainer wanted.. although meant to be funny, I could have stayed home for free and watched my own dog do this. This felt like something that should have been done at a local high school where I maybe would have spent $5 to attend. LAME. Stay home and save your money.

    Great show, no directions!

by swphilly on 11/23/15The Santander Performing Arts Center - Reading

The show was great, however they had no one outside to direct you where the event was. I showed up 20 minutes late because there were similar venues everywhere around the event. I was not from the area, so had no idea where this was held.

    More Dogs.....Less Humans

by 1CuteWestie on 11/23/15The Oncenter Carrier Theater - Syracuse

Love the dogs....wish the show featured more tricks. While the humans were delightful, I really went to see the dogs. Not necessarily unicycles, juggling and guitars. A little over prices for not having as many dog tricks.

I loved the dogs in Olate dogs! They did some really cute and amazing tricks; however, there wasn't as much with the dogs as I thought there was going to be. The show had the son singing (as he was just signed on to a record deal and he was trying to promote himself) and some juggling going on. I understand the dogs can't work nonstop but I did not expect that in the act. I thought the comedy skit with the dogs was cute. It was a good show but I had pretty much seen everything on America's Got Talent. Overall, I think they do a great job on training the dogs.

    Cute dogs, but . . .

by QuireQween4 on 11/22/15The Oncenter Carrier Theater - Syracuse

This show was not worth the $37.50 ticket price. The dogs are adorable and well trained, but that does not sustain over the evening. The singing, juggling and cycle riding were amateurish and if the MC said, "are you having fun?" one more time, I was going to explode. Whoever was running the audio and video board was clueless.

    Love the Pups!

by VegastheShowgirl on 9/27/15Wilbur Theatre - Boston

The dogs are EXCELLENT! Beautiful, amazingly smart and entertaining. I think, worth the price of the ticket if you are a dog lover as I am. I definitely would have enjoyed seeing more dogs and less humans but I get it. When I booked this show I wondered how dogs can perform for two hours. Apparently, the only way, being with a lot of fillers. The show was broken up with mostly boring videos and less then perfect juggling and circus type acts. I would never want to see the animals overworked and put under stress...but I think the filler acts should be vastly improved to make the show the best it could be.

    Olate Dogs Were Wonderful!!

by Willsie80 on 8/22/15Five Flags Center - Dubuque

The show was wonderful for people of all ages!! I had tears in my eyes all the time in awe of what these once shelter or abused dogs could do. I had a smile on my face all the time I was there. The father and son are doing wonderful work in showing the unconditional love that rescue dogs can give and how amazing they can be. Their tricks were wonderful and the father's story was unforgettable!! It shows that miracles still exist!!

    Want more dogs

by Jimmer54 on 8/18/15Sioux Falls Orpheum Theater - Sioux Falls

The dogs were great. The rest, not so much. We don't need to be asked every five minutes if we are having fun. It was very difficult to understand the fathers broken English over the speakers. We didn't buy the tickets to listen to the son sing or to watch two videos (one didn't work). We figured out the dogs could walk on two legs but we didn't need to see every dog in a different costume doing the same thing. The extremely trained and talented dogs need to perform more to really get your moneys worth.

Thoroughly enjoyed the show and being in the Five Flags Center. These dogs are amazing, and you can tell how much they are loved.
