game was awesome. great seats. would love to go again.
great nite for ball game but not for Redhawks lost game 3-0
Even though we were there as a couple, I could see that most the people there were families, and what a wholesome way to entertain your children for a night. The game was good, the crowd was family-oriented, and my pulled pork bbq was the most tender sandwich ever!
Cruised into OKC and heard there was a minor league game playing the next night and thought it would be fun to check it out with the family. Was taken back by the ticket prices considering I'd seen games across the country for more than 1/2 the price as these were listed at. Since I knew the kids wouldn't last the whole game we opted for the blanket section in the outfield. Upon arriving at the game there were open seats just about everywhere in the sections that were supposed to be unavailable. Nonetheless, the stadium is beautiful, surrounded by restaurants, bars and hotels. It is set in the Bricktown section of downtown OKC and there is no shortage of things to do before or after the game. There is not a bad seat in the house! The area is safe, well lit and the folks are friendly. Walk around the perimeter of the stadium to learn about all the great ballplayers that have come from Oklahoma.
Game was great, stadium is real nice. We will go again.
Ballpark rivals the amenities found at some MLB stadiums. Very military friendly, which was nice to see. Crowd was a little quiet, they didn't really seem to get into the ballgame until about the 7th inning, but that could be attributed to the heat--105 degrees at game time. Overall a fun experience though. Good quality baseball.
Took 2 grandchildren to their first pro ballgame. That was exciting enough for them but sitting on the third row by homeplate was awesome. Great view with net in front of us to make us feel safe. Grandson got a teeshirt from the "shooter". Granddaughter got a foul baseball that hit 2nd level and came back to give us a little surprise. Ending was awesome - 10th inning, down 2, bases loaded, pinch hitter (sorry can't remember his name) hits a double and a "small" error by left fielder cleared bases and we won!! Kids want to come back - hopefully on a night that it is not 100+degress and no wind.
Overall a good family atmosphere to take the kids.
It was a very nice ball park and we will return to it!
Totally Love Minor League baseball games. You're so close to the action. I took my youngest of three boys, he's 12, and he and I both had a GREAT time. Will definitely be back.
Great seats!!! Only disappointment was the batters cage kept us from getting tshirts thrown to crowd.
I was a little disappointed because the day after I purchased the seats online I was sent an email about an amazing deal; food, hats and tickets for 4 for a smaller fee than what I had to pay for 3 tickets. It would've been nice to have been apprised of this deal before I purchased my tickets. But the seats were very good and in the shade.
Great atmosphere and great venue all around !!! Highlight of the night when the catcher threw me the game ball !!!!
The seats were great and the weather was nice - typical baseball game.
We sat on the right field lawn for the first time and was disappointed. There are no speakers in the lawn area, so you cannot hear the PA announcer. The restrooms for that area are also not air conditioned which makes sitting on the throne a sweaty and miserable experience. This takes away quite a bit from the game experience believe it or not. Aside from that major flaw, food and drinks are not priced too bad and the place is clean. Parking is a pain the butt now and it took us awhile to get out of the area. The website mentions the red lot just east of the stadium for parking, but that is a bit of an error since it is only for season ticket holders. There is way more space than is needed for season ticket holders, so that miffed me a bit. So in summary, it's way better to spend a few more bucks and sit in a regular seat and if you park at Bass Pro Shops, expect to wait a long time to get out due to heavy traffic and a traffic light that is not cross-street friendly.
It was a great game. Plenty of runs, great plays, and exciteing home runs. Best of all my team won, Go Redhawks.
The game was fun, seat were great, fireworks after the game was awesome.
Stadium is very nice. The game was good (we won). Food was generally good. Popcorn had way too much salt. Why did ticketmaster show only a few empty seats available when the crowd was only a little over 3,000?
Stadium was way above expectations. Liked the way snacks can be purchased and still watch the game.
