Icelandic six-piece Of Monsters and Men have delighted audiences around the world with their uplifting English folk-pop sound, full of soaring harmonies and captivating melodies. The monster hit “Little Talks” was many fans’ introduction to the band – it was certified Platinum in the US, reaching No. 1 on the US Alternative chart. 2013 saw the band wowing ticket buyers at live concerts and festivals, showing they’re just as talented on stage as in the recording studio. Formed in 2010, the band met with success quickly, winning Iceland’s annual band competition Músíktilraunir later that year. In 2011, Of Monsters and Men signed to Record Records and released the Into the Woods EP. Their debut album My Head is an Animal was released in Iceland in September 2011 and in the US in April 2012 by the Universal Music Group. The album – full of acoustically driven, infectiously energetic folk-rock – peaked at No. 6 on the US Billboard 200 album chart and reached the top 5 in Australia, Canada, Germany, and the UK.

Of Monsters and Men were absolutely amazing. It's not very often that you get the opportunity to see true artists these day. They actually sound better than their cd and you don't find that too often. The only thing I can say that was a downfall was that the show wasn't long enough!!!
Excellent show. Venue was okay. Big open space. Some issues with sound and feedback on occasion. Opener Lay Low, also Icelandic, was great too though only played a touch over 30 minutes.
Of Monsters and Men were incredible! Their songs sounded as good, if not better, live. They were entertaining and interactive with the crowd and just seemed to be having a great time! I would say the one drawback was that we saw the setlist and they didn't play the last sogn on the list, "Yellow Light". I wasn't all that upset since it's my least favorite song of theirs, but I was surprised when they didn't complete their setlist. Overall though, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you check this band out. They are just too much fun to miss!
There are no words. They killed it in every way possible.
This show was AMAZING! The band sounded even better live than on the album and had great energy.
Awesome concert! Venue was very neat...very interesting crowd (ages, gender, etc). Drinks were pricey, but it NYC club! Great show!
Great venue. Amazing band. Fun crowd. Area around venue was fun before and after event. Only problem was incredibly expensive and small drink in Webster Hall. Minor issue but an overall awesome night.
The venue was sweet and the band was just so fun! The atmosphere of the crowd was so chill! Would love to see them again! Also the venue was very easy to get to. (I took the subway).
Fantastic show! They are taking the US by storm and I see why. I hope theycome back and soon
