About

ODESZA returned with their fourth studio album, 'The Last Goodbye', released July 22, 2022. Symphonic, vast, and emotionally stirring, 'The Last Goodbye' is the duo's most ambitious album to date. A project rife with brightness and emotion, nostalgic yet rooted in the present, it serves as a sweeping sonic experience that speaks to themes of connection, reminiscence, and the impact we impart on one another. It's a vivid celebration of the people and moments that have left fingerprints on our existence, echoing throughout the record. The album features Bettye LaVette on the title track, in addition to collabs with The Knocks, Ólafur Arnalds, Julianna Barwick, Izzy Bizu, Charlie Houston, Låpsley, & MARO. As ODESZA, this is Harrison Mills' and Clayton Knight's most personal record yet, recognized with a nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards. It's a brilliant collection which looks to interweave the past and the present in a euphoric way.

With over 5 billion total streams, ODESZA have masterfully reemerged to remind the world what has made Mills and Knight cornerstones of the modern electronic landscape. Their last album, 'A Moment Apart', which featured Leon Bridges, Regina Spektor, RY X among others, was not only a commercial success (going gold and debuting at no. 3 on the Billboard 200), but it also earned praise from the likes of NPR, Rolling Stone, Billboard and more.

ODESZA has cultivated a diehard fanbase of massive proportions: known for their groundbreaking, awe- inspiring and immersive live performance. ODESZA spent the fall of 2022 touring North America, with 450k+ tickets sold, which included three sold nights in their hometown Seattle, and two sold nights runs in LA, New York, Chicago, and San Francisco for 22,000 people a night.

    AS GOOD AS IT GETS

by ZeForener on 11/6/15Masquerade - Atlanta

I can't think of a single negative comment. Everything was absolutely perfect! KASBO and Hayden James (the opening acts) set the ideal mood. When the boys (ODESZA) got on stage, the crowd went WILD. ODESZA's unique interplay of live drums, electronic beats, melodic vocals and one-of-a-kind tunes are literally PERFECTION! If you have a chance to go see them play, please do so. You will NOT regret, I promise.

    by Gatechgirl5678 on 11/6/15Masquerade - Atlanta

ODESZA killed it, first off. The lighting was fantastic and I'm glad they were in heaven because it was PACKED. Will be keeping my eyes open for when they are back in atlanta. Probably in my top 5 for live edm shows.

Absolutely terrible. They brought out horns who were faking their playing. Enough said.

    ODESZA

by CSTN on 3/17/15U.S. Cellular Stage at the Bijou Theatre - Knoxville

Worth the wait. I would have went to the Asheville, NC show the following night, too, if it wasn't sold out already. ODESZA is great, and so is Little People.

    The First Three Rows

by SusanO1337 on 3/17/15U.S. Cellular Stage at the Bijou Theatre - Knoxville

The concert was amazing, and artistic! So beautifully done! The first two openers was Little people and Big Wild, and they were okay! It was like a full 2 hours until the REAL concert began and the whole place came alive. I was jumping with anticipation! I drove like 8 hours to see them, and took my mom, and god, Odesza was AWESOME! Odesza was very professional! They even came back out for an encore show!! The lighting was badass, and the music sounded just like their album. They had some crazy balloons bouncing everywhere too! Now The Bijou Theatre is like this old RETRO opera house/theater. There are theatre seats everywhere. The first three rows were allowed to run up to the stage and enjoy the show but they had posted guards to keep us from joining them. I don't understand why. They had only gotten there earlier than everyone else... It seemed very segregated and offputting watching the security turn people away. I really wanted to join them in the dancing. Turns out everyone just stood up in their seats and danced anyway!

    Good, but short

by Assange on 3/14/15U.S. Cellular Stage at the Bijou Theatre - Knoxville

The music was quite good, the crowd was into it. I would have liked to see a longer show... first band started at 8, Odesza was done at 11. Please play more music!

Odesza and Ambassadeurs show was great!

by Nexxicon on 10/12/14A and R Music Bar - Columbus

Both artists were amazing! Really liked the venue, both because of the intimacy, and the beer selection didn't suck. :)

    Brief but worth it

by NintendoBae on 10/7/14The Sinclair - Cambridge

Odesza has enough appeal in their musical style to overcome the low performance displayed at the Sinclair. Was it the 3a after party the night before? A quick "thank you Boston" was enough to engage the audience for an encore. Influential ambient themes of nostalgic summers and mellow love, with Clayton's gratifying beats..simply did not create a survivorship curve in the live concert experience. This duo is really great, but Boston deserved better.

Just press play and save your time/money

    by MS33 on 9/23/14Mezzanine - San Francisco

A live show is just like spotify, only louder, unfortunately. Uneventful set, until, and I NEVER write reviews, but when Odesza plays an hour set (as the headliner) on a sold out Friday night, and then the club closes at 12:30pm, kicking everyone out, including those with purchased bottle service, it leaves a bit of an impression, and not the good kind. This is not exceptable- I love mezzanine and frequent electronic/house/dance shows there and know a bad night when I see one- thanks to last Friday- both venue and performer ship the bed here- next time I hope I won't have to ship my pants as well!

    Odesza was late!

by maramaramaramara on 9/22/14Mezzanine - San Francisco

They were great! I only saw two songs, but they didn't go on stage until after 11:30. It was ridiculous. We were so over it by the time, that we only could take two songs in then we were done. So frustrating.

    Long wait but pretty good

by Dasonshi on 9/22/14Mezzanine - San Francisco

Doors opened at 8:30- they didn't come on til 11:30 which pissed some people off more than others. They played til like 12:30 or 1. It was pretty good but seemed a little lazy on their part
