NYUL Football Classic Tickets

I always enjoy these events and have tried to make it every year. The new MetLife stadium was a nice experience. I enjoyed the ability to walk out to field level and experience the game at ground level. As always, the parking lot is quite the extravaganza each and every year. If there is anything I would like to see differently is the actual match up of schools. I think other historically black colleges should be given an opportunity to appear in this spectacular game. What about South Carolina State, Bethune Cookman, Grambling, and a host of others that would still provide the attendance draw. Just a thought.

NY Urban League Classic: Howard U vs Morgan State I have not been in years, this past Saturday was great. The only complaint I have was the parking of $30.00 was outrageous, the volumes on both band performance were too loud, the audio was extremely low................Lower than in the past.

Game was great.... It could have been better though. My only problem I'm very petite and there were big people sitting down in front of me... blocking the view... I'll tried to get lower seats next time. Overall I had a good time that's what it was about.

the bands were great, but the game was very boring until the last quarter. Need to have more competitive teams for future games. loved the cheerleaders and the events at halftime. however, i will keep coming back. just improve the game.

NY URBAN LEAGUE CLASSIC: HOWARD U VS MORGAN STATE was a great game. The bands were fantastic, the cheerleaders remarkable. Be sure to stay for the tailgate parties in the parking lot. We had a wonderful time. Can't wait till next year!!!!

The game was great, enjoyed every minute of it. The performance at half time was too much, only expected the battle of the band which is why I choose to come to these events. Keep it simple, celebrities can attend but don't necessarily have to perform. Let the college bands and cheerleaders perform, it is their moment. to shine. Everything else was just as I expected it to be and love.

My wife is a Howard alum, and she is always talking about the Black College experience to our 2 sons, so I purchased tickets for the four of us. It started with seeing all of the tail gaters, fraternities, and sorotities in the parking lot cooking and playing music. Nice vibe before the game. Because i wanted to be fairly close to the field, I purchased 4 $75 dollar tickets. Little did I know the tickets I purchased would put us in the Coach's Club and put us at field level right behind the Howard bench. My boys (8 and 7) were estatic when they saw the field. My wife, was very impressed as well. The Coach's Club was air conditioned with monitors and food, so there was a good balance if you wanted to be out where the action was or inside nice and comfortable. Howard lost the game, but made it exciting toward the end. The weather held up as well, making it a dry and comfortable night. The bands of both schools were very entertaining, and a special guest in Fabolos performing. My one complaint is that the band was facing the opposite direction, so we ended up viewing them from behind, but used the giant video screens to follow along. Another disappointment was the attendance. It would've been nice to see a packed house, maybe some were scared away by the threat of rain.

The event was awsome and I wish that it could be held more than once per year.

I really enjoyed the entire affair and the vendors helped make it a real event.

MetLife Stadium is a great venue. The tailgating and flea market was great but the game sucked. I wish the game was more competitive and exciting. Too many bad plays and turnovers by Morgan and Howard.

OMG!!! The game was FANTASTIC! Definitely will never miss this again! This was my boys and my first time going and we had the best time of our lives. We didn't tail gate this year, didn't know how great that was going to be, but trust, that next year we will be out there we have never seen so many of our beautiful people in one spot having a GOOD TIME! OH yeah, and the Half Time show was STUPENDOUS! We will not let this pass us by ever again.

Everything about the event was great. The people tailgating set the atmosphere, the game had everything you want in a football game-great plays, hard hits, ect.-the halftime show excellent (no one left their seats during halftime). I'm already looking forward to next years New York Urban League Football Classic.

I thought the event was great. I was disappointed with Mary J. Blige not performing.

You want pageantry, food, passion, fun, and a family atmosphere rolled into one? This was my second attendance at the NYUL Football classic. With the incredible background of the New Meadowlands Stadium this was a mega event beyond my expectation. I took my friend with me and we had a blast. This was more than a game... it was a majestic event. I'm going again next year... no question!

This was my first time attending the Classic Football game. Such a great game! I had great seats, sitting in the end zone to watch my Alama Matta, Morgan State University beat Howard. It was so great to see so many people representing HBCU's come together. I missed the tailgating before the game, however thanks to Giants Stadium for keeping the lots open until 9pm, I was able to enjoy the tailgating once the game was over. Great event put on by the NYUL. I will definitely be back next year.

i had a nice time good seats, i felt special for a day, i was able to see the game and the players up close. i would recommend this to anyone.
