NOTHING MORE IN CONCERT:

Rising nu metal act Nothing More continue to breathe new life into the genre with their sonically innovative production, virtuosic musicianship, and heart-pounding performances. In just a few short years the band has logged more than 500 shows, and it shows, each one an adrenaline-filled affair characterized by searing guitar riffs, snarling vocals, and a one-of-a-kind welded percussion platform that frontman Jonny Hawkins hammers as he stomps around the stage. Fans lucky enough to see anthems like "This is the Time (Ballast)" and "Jenny" performed live on Nothing More's upcoming tour dates will have the pleasure of experiencing a talented young band who also happen to be seasoned performers.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Texas-based nu metal outfit Nothing More is comprised of singer Jonny Hawkins, guitarist Mark Vollelunga, bassist Daniel Oliver, and drummer Paul O'Brien. The released their debut album Shelter in 2003, boarding a salvaged RV soon after for extensive touring in support of the release. From their earliest days the band has been explicitly committed to connecting with fans through next-level performances, and their electrifying live shows on the road quickly earned them a cult following. The band continued to grow their fanbase with the release of Vandura in 2006 and Save You/Save Me in 2007, but their biggest success to date came in 2014 with the release of their self-titled fourth album. That album drew praise from critics and fans alike for its sonic ambition and dynamic musicianship, drumming up big expectations for the band's upcoming tour dates.

    Amazing show despite the weather

by JB on 4/23/24Stubb's Waller Creek Amphitheater - Austin

The show started 2 hours early due to rain and storm warnings. Nothing More absolutely killed it though. Phenomenal setlist and great sound mixing. It was a very interactive and engaging show. The whole band really impressed me. Highly recommend seeing them.

    Moved it UP!?!?!?

by Sun Depot on 4/23/24Stubb's Waller Creek Amphitheater - Austin

I was so sad when I got the voice mail telling me the band would still be playing but had moved up the start time and THE MESSAGE GOT TO ME AN HOUR AFTER THEY’D ALREADY STARTED! Who moves UP a concert? I’m out the ticket money, parking AND missed one of my favs. This really sucked, yall. Not everyone lives 2 minutes from the venue.

    Fantastic Show! \m/

by Brandon on 4/22/24Fillmore New Orleans - New Orleans

All four bands were great. Venue was clean and all of the staff was friendly. Beer prices at the Filmore were a bit higher than other venues in the area. Overall it was a great experience.

    Amazing show and music

by Mike on 4/21/24Fillmore New Orleans - New Orleans

Nothing More puts on an amazing show and the music is always stellar. I have seen them numerous times over the years and no matter the venue the performance is excellent with songs from their newest to original albums. They are worth traveling across the country to see. Nothing More never disappoints.

    Over all a good experience.

by Sara on 4/21/24Fillmore New Orleans - New Orleans

The instructions were well written and easy to follow. Buying the tickets was no issue. No fault of Live Nation: using parking wiz was confusing. In New Orleans, most parking is pay-by-hour. The parking wiz time given was 4:30pm -9:30pm, but the event let out after 11pm. I was able to find the website for the parking garage and pay for an extension inside the venue. Besides that, my experience was wonderful.

    Nothing More & Wage War

by Krys on 4/21/24Fillmore New Orleans - New Orleans

My first time seeing these bands and they did not disappoint!! Made me a bigger fan of each. Veil of Maya was good. Dude’s clean vocals were off pitch and sharp. Love Sleep Theory!!

    Most Crowd Surfing I’d seen!

by Rose on 9/30/23The Fillmore Charlotte - Charlotte

Now I might be biased on my opinion of these guys now that I have crowd surfed for the first time to their songs. But truly I had such a blast! All the fans were super nice and very helpful since I hadn’t really listened to them, I came for dead poet society but still had just as much fun when nothing more came on. They have a new fan after this concert !!

    Epic energy!

by Nate on 9/29/23The Fillmore Charlotte - Charlotte

Every single phase of this show was absolute perfection. The venue is beautiful and intimate. The staff is helpful. The sound was mixed masterfully. All three opening acts brought an exciting brand of music that somehow tied together based on effort and love for one another. Now to Jonny and the boys... this band has weaved a tapestry over the years that has kept me warm when things got cold... held me off the ground when the life's rain tried to win... and kept my eyes forward with genius tempo changes and raw lyrics tucked into piercing music. They brought energy on this night like no other time before. It was the last show of the tour and I feared that they may be burned out... but I found the opposite... in that there was a mutual appreciation between the artists and the fans that I have never quite felt to this degree. NO other band mixes songs about mental fortitude and heavy riffs better than Nothing More. This was the second time I have seen them on this tour alone... and they filled my tank with all good things.

    Love the Charlotte Fillmore

by Rock Dad on 9/28/23The Fillmore Charlotte - Charlotte

In town for Nothing More and as always the band was great and the venue is our favorite place to see a show. Not too big and not too small. Always a good atmosphere and the staff are always helpful and polite. Upgraded to the VIP lounge and it’s worth it. It’s nice to have a place to sit and it doesn’t hurt to have private bathrooms and exit to outside patio. Food and drink was good. Can’t wait for the next show there.

    Here's to the Heartache!!

    by F. M. on 9/28/23

Seriously one of my favorite bands to see in concert, right up there with Distubed (and I LOVED seeing them live). I got to crowd surf for about 15 seconds before these girls dropped me lol. Rock concerts are great and NOTHING MORE is one you need to see! His energy is off the chain at some points!
