I love coming to the games. I do not like the parking. It is too far. I parked in E area not want to park there again. But on Oct. 7th I am parking there again. It did not allowed me to pick where I wanted to park so they put me in E area again.
Parking for this event was amateur hour. It shouldn't take 40 minutes to get parked and get to the stadium, especially when there's only a crowd of 5000 or so. Maybe hire a few more people to scan passes/take payments? I'll gladly go again, but just be prepared to park way earlier than should be necessary so I don't miss too much of the game.
I brought my two grandchildren, a 10 yr. old girl and a 13 yr. old boy and their parents (my daughter and her husband) to the NC Courage vs. Florida Pride. It was the first professional soccer game any of us had attended. We enjoyed it immensely. One of the best things was the easy-going atmosphere of the stadium. The employees were polite and helpful, and the spectators were happy. The concession stands had great offerings and service. The soccer players were fantastic. All of the extra designed for the attendees, especially for the children added to the whole experience. We cannot wait to go to our next NC Courage game!
The game was outstanding! Best experience going to a sports event ever! Not much traffic, we got there 30 min early, but still not bad leaving the game. A lot of food options with variety because they have food trucks there. A lot of fun things to do before the game like a beer garden. Loved every minute of the game!
I had the BEST time. This was my first time at WakeMed and my first time at a womens soccer game since 2019. I was cheering for the away team (go ACFC!!), but the staff and Courage supporters were lovely! I got the $15 seats in section 501 row H. I was in seat 9 and was aligned exactly with the middle of the field. The seats were GREAT, we had no blindspots or heads in our view! Even though our seats were in the top section, I was still able to get all the way down and get my paper signed by a courage player and an angel city player (which i was not expecting at all!!!) We had no issues getting through with my sisters medical bag, and no issues with the parking staff getting in a good spot to tailgate!
The stadium is great, the game experience is awesome. The online only tickets are awful and make me question coming back. Why can't I print out my tickets? I didn't have the log in to my ticketmaster account saved on my phone and I (and multiple other people) held up the ticket line for several minutes fumbling with our phones. Then the screens aren't bright enough and the scanners don't scan the phones very well. What a headache to just get into the stadium. Are fraudulent tickets that rampant in women's professional soccer and we all have to suffer this digital ticket experience?
Enjoyed the game, love the team. But the concessions have a lot of room for improvement. Bought some food, only to be told they didn't actually have it until after they had charged my card. Had to go all over the concessions around the stadium to see if they could provide us with the food we had already paid for.
The ladies were awesome. Fans got into the game. The only complaint, if you want a hot dog it will take half the game and for some reason it’s like construction on a highway, traffic that will fill 4 lanes but only 1 open
Beautiful pitch and great environment, with a fantastic, highly competitive and professional team. I just wish there was a coffee bar there for iced coffee!
Over half of the seats were empty! Prices should be lowered to fill seats and boost up the atmosphere in the stadium. Nice stadium, good parking areas and the team was excellent and fun to watch.
Great team, great game, had a wonderful time in the stadium and watching the game. Getting in and out was a major pain. Parking was confusing and got super clogged. I saw a lot of people leave the game early to beat the traffic and then when I was stuck in the traffic I understood exactly why they did. 5 stars for the game, 1 star for entry/exit and parking
The game was great, but the stadium failed to advise spectators of the clear bag policy… line to get in, then told no purses, was a long walk back to the car to ditch the purse. This should be disclosed on the tickets.
Hot but fun. Had a wonderful time with my family. Great outting.
It was very very fun and it was very motivating for me to work harder at soccer so one day I can reach there level :)
The game was great, but the stadium failed to advise spectators that the vendors were not accepting credit cards for payment. A long line developed at the ATM, which eventually ran out of cash. We had to leave early because we were thirsty and hungry.
This was my first time sitting on the endline at a Courage game. It was fantastic! The whole process of purchasing a ticket and scanning it to get in is so simple and smooth. Love this venue and this team!
Great place to catch a game. Seeing the sun set over the trees as the match started was pretty awesome.
Took my daughter to the NC Courage game against Gotham FC for Carli Lloyd's farewell tour, glad we got to experience both the Courage and Carli's last NWSL game. Tickets were reasonably priced and seating options were great. T he park and facility itself is very well maintained by the City of Cary and has good access to food and bathroom options regardless of where you sit. Prices for food were still high as any ballgame's prices are, food quality was okay from Backyard Bistro. Kids working the service were messy with the chili all over the containers, but that was the worst of it and just needing to be careful trying not to get chili on your clothes. Parking turned out great, it's expanded since I was last there for a college cup years back. Not that we got to pick, but lot E had us maybe 40 yards to the back entrance gate and walking in with no crowds. There were grass practice fields by our parking as well that if you wanted to tailgate there was fenced off space to spread out and kids could play safely not in a parking lot. Great crowd, good for a family event.
Great day for a game. Beautiful stadium and facilities. Got to see NC Courage for the first time and also one of the last games played by Carli Lloyd!
