Norsk Hostfest Tickets

My first time to Hostfest, for the most part I did enjoy it, I thought 4 days was alittle long for me, not enough vendors to wander thru, once you've walked thru them twice thats enough as there weren't very many. The afternoon concerts were very good, the evening concerts not so much, only concert I really enjoyed in the evening was Dierks Bentley. Big and Rich were too alittle too loud and Brantley Gilbert was terrible, could not understand what he was singing or saying as his sound system was too overwhelming, alot of people left including me, so a waste of my money. For this type of venue that was catering to the older generation, you failed with the evening entertainment, I won't be returning for the concerts if it continues. If your trying to get the younger crowd then you should put on a state fair or a separate concert, not include it with hostfest. I thought the free side stage entertainment was good, I would of preferred to watch them instead of paying for the concerts I walked out on. So maybe next time have the free stage entertainment start earlier for those that don't want the evening concerts and I would of saved alot of money going to the other stages. Could of used more shuttles back and forth, one night I came out at 11:30 and no shuttles at all, so didn't appreciate walking to the parking lot in the dark alone. Liked the vast assortment of food to choose from, very good.

The entire Høstfest experience was awesome. Well organized and a great variety of entertainment! We spent 45 hours at the four day event! We were disappointed in two of the night shows. Big and Rich was so loud that their Melodies were unrecognizable at the onset. Brantley Gilbert was a big disappointment. Many people left the concert again due to volume and a poor match to the Høstfest attendees. Definitely for a younger crowd. Many fantastic performances were enjoyed!!

Had a wonderful time at this year's Hostfest. Great to be back. Please have more diverse authors next.time.

I love the Norsk Hostfest. Great entertainment, great food, and an incredible visiting event. This event caters to all ages. I bring my grandkids, plus attend with my friends on the various days. All ages like to try their hand at rolling and eating lefse. Everyone loves the Family stage plays, the Nordic Kitchen demonstrations, and all the free stage music and comedy, while waiting for the big name entertainment at the Great Hall. Rommegrot, Potato Klub, Lutefisk and more great Scandinavian food! But the best part is visiting and watching everyone have fun and dancing from morning until night! Such great people and volunteers from so many states and countries!

Excellent concert! I’d go again in a heartbeat!!!

Where to begin? Now we not only pay to park but there are no shuttle buses to take us to and from the event center. You need day passes available to buy right away. We purchased expensive concert tickets to have an entrance ticket and when they changed it so you could buy a day pass we could not exchange our concert tickets. Also need to be able to purchase tickets via email right away, phone tickets do us no good. Very disappointed that one whole hall was shut down and so many of our favorite places to eat were gone. Trying to figure out the entertainment schedule was a nightmare. Thankgoodness we had been there before so kind of knew what to do! Bring back the old Host Fest!!

The first day at Hostfest was a little quiet and I was a little worried but it really picked up on day two as far as crowds go. The vendors were really good I enjoyed shopping and buying. Did not go to any of the big concerts because they were all country. It would be good to have a night of oldies or two of oldies. In the past we’ve had bands like Chicago for instance. I would also spread the food booths out a little bit because they all seemed to be in the RH hall. That made seating hard. And I think one more big concert place like we had before would be good so the crowds can be separated some. I would also bring back the buses who shuttle out to the cars. Although we usually did get a ride from the golf cart eventually. Overall I was very glad to be there and will be glad to go back. I’ve been attending many years.
