Over priced and under whelming We took our grandkids who go to Havoc games and they thought the Admirals were boring
Game was postponed due to not one, but two Zamboni failures which apparently, left the ice un-skateable. Got through the first period then we were told to leave. Not sure if/how/when any sort of refund will be handled. Not a good first impression, Norfolk.
Game was suspended/postponed and we were told over the intercom that we would be getting instructions on a refund or how to redeem tickets for a future game.
Was NOT notified in any way the game was then scheduled to be played the next day. This was our first time to attend an Admirals game and we only got one third of the game. So disappointed.
The game didn’t finish because the ice wasn’t safe for the players after halftime
If you postpone a game at scope you need to refund parking for everyone! If you're going to double parking this year, I want my money back if the event gets cancelled with a season high crowd of over 5,000.
We had a wonderful time watching the Admirals! We already have tickets for another game!
The game was great! The environment was excellent. The only problem is the concession prices are outrageous.
I brought my friend who has never been to a hockey game. I got us great seats (sec 111, right in the middle, behind the teams). We both got really into the game and had a great time! I usually go about 1-2 times a year. And she said she will definitely be back! Also wanted to point out that I noticed the new seats! Nice
The way the teams and the games were set up was great. I love 3 on 3 hockey. There was very few whistles, the games flowed fast. It was outstanding. The only con is, there was no t-shirts, the emblem was very cool and the event was outstanding, I just wish I could have gotten a t-shirt.
Good fun , fairly priced , my kids loved it , we will diffenitly be doing it again . Good competition , fan engagement . I carried 4 15 yr olds with me ( my son and 4 friends ) , they all had a blast
My daughter and I have been going to games various times over the past 10 years or so. We made it a tradition to go to one near Xmas. We went last weekend and left after the second period. I’m definitely no professional but it just wasn’t any fun to watch.
We had a great time at the game as we usually do. We loved our seats and everyone we interacted with was great. The only thing i find odd was that everything was closed starting 3rd period. You couldn't even get a soda refill so yea that was weird.
Goal net tiedown kept coming loose delaying the game close to an hour or more. $16 beer for a losing team 2 wins 15 losses. $65 for 3 people to have a horrible time. Never again, not worth risking your life to visit downtown Norfolk.
My first visit to see the admiral’s play. Everyone was nice , from the front gate workers to the concession stand workers. Although the team is not very good, I had a great time and will be returning to watch again.
This has never been an issue at past hockey games, but the acoustics in the venue were awful. There was so much echo that it was impossible to understand any of the announcers. Really impacted our ability to enjoy the game.
Had a lot of fun at the game. Appreciative of the free scarf for 1st 1000 fans. Parking was easy, getting out at the end was easy. All in all great time!
The Scope was not a very clean venue. The floors in the aisles were all sticky, and the seats were small. The game itself was uneventful. The audio in the room kept changing from very soft moments to ear piercingly loud ones, and the DJ/Announcer were not coordinated at all, they kept playing music over the game, and continuously missed moments of importance. All in all, not nearly worth the price tag of $68 to sit at concourse level where its hard to even see whats going on on the ice. Go see a different team play at a different venue and you will be much more entertained.
This was my first time at an Admirals game and I absolutely loved it. There was so much energy in the game and audience. The environment was family friendly and just overall good vibes.
Great game and atmosphere. I purchased my tickets as a Christmas present for my wife who is a hockey fan all the way. We were supposed to go January 8th 2022 but game was cancelled for April 3rd 2022. It was well worth the wait. The game was fast and furious and our home team won by a score of 3-0. Only one small set back. There was a guy about 3 rows back and was very entertaining except for the F-bombs he kept yelling out. Parking was a breeze right across the street for only $5 and it was easy in and easier out. This was my first hockey game and I told my wife we needed to do this again. We had a blast!
