Oh. My. God. Best new artist I've seen in years
by Marhar1300 on 9/27/25Theatre of Living Arts - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5I went to Noga's show on a bit of a lark. I had seen some clips of her on social media and she was at the TLA, which is a great venue, so I took a chance. All I can say is, oh my god, mind blown. This woman's blend of genres, ranging from hip hop to rap, dance hall, trap, electronic, heavy base cacophany, her sumptuous voice, her physical energy, and uber cool backup band, was such an immersive, raw, powerfully entertaining experience. I was stunned to see such an age range in the audience. People in their 50's and 60's funking out next to 20 and 30-somethings, and a few people brought their teens. Most innovative and musically satisfying experience in years. Her anti-war, anti- authoritarianism lyrics, with a few failed romance and existential musings made for a truly great show. She felt the Philly love. Many present were clearly lefties/progressives who showed up in solidarity for an Israeli artist against the war in Gaza, but she did not bring it up directly and security was super tight upon entry to be on the cautious side. I felt completely safe the whole time.
