    Kick ass show!

by Jay69 on 2/4/11Revolution Live - Ft Lauderdale

What a fun show, exciting audience, crowd surfing, stagediving. Exciting! Too bad everyone was smoking cigarettes, it ruined it for my friend who had never been to the punkrock show. People don't smoke in the venues on the west coast, except pot sometimes but mostly they go outside and come back in. Thats the way it should be.I came all the way from the Bay Area to take my friend to see one of my favorite bands NOFX so he could check it out. I've done this with a few of my friends who haven't experienced the punkrock seen. No more! i'm never bringing someone along to the punkrock show who dosn't know what they are all about. They just don't get it. And then you get these people who threatin you with their fists if you may get pushed into them from the wild crowd. Hay buddy have you ever been to one of these things? Then you have the guys getting into fights, even the band was making fun at them. Audiences on the east coast are more brash than the west coast. I'm from the east coast but I live in Cali. now and we on the west coast no how to have a good time at these things without being assholes. We help people in the pit who fall down on the slippery floors, we know how to have fun and not be rude to other people. Punkrock rules, I love all kinds of shows, old country acts, dinasour acts, all kinds of rock shows. Punkrock shows are exciting, they kickass!

    great show

    by Hambone99 on 2/4/11Masquerade - Atlanta

It was a great show. They played almost the whole Punk n Drublic album. The crowd was really into it. Mike even got a little teary eyed when he played "My Orphan Year" and had to take some time off stage when that song was over. Unfortunately Mike was a bit sick, like last time, so his voice started to fade towards the end.

    NOFX never stops

by dickfer on 2/3/11Masquerade - Atlanta

The best damn punk band ever. Great songs and a raging crowd. Those guys enjoy their jobs and really have fun on stage. Also loved the opening acts. Bouncing Souls are a steadfast band, and Cobra Skulls deserve more of a local following and more time on stage. Their cover of Bad Religion's "I give you nothing" brought down the house! Old Man Markley also did a cool folk cover of a Screeching Weasel song.

    NOFX and company rocked!

    by wsb1874 on 2/3/11Masquerade - Atlanta

Everyone who has ever seen NOFX knows that they always put on a great show, but I was suprised by the opening bands Cobra Skulls and Old Man Markley, both of which I had never heard or seen before. Both were excellent and my brother and I got both of their cds. The Bouncing Souls played a stellar old school set and did a great job to.

    NOFX has turned LAME!

by Anonymous on 1/28/11Mavericks Rock N' Honky Tonk - Jacksonville

I went for the Bouncing Souls...they were awesome. My fiance went for NOFX. I must say NOFX needs to stop being lame! The venue is a bar and of course there was drinking but from the front door to every post there were signs posted BY REQUEST OF THE ARTIST NO SMOKING!! I have never been to a punk show that would not allow the many fans that smoke while drinking not smoke!!!

awesome show. next time, I don't think I'll spend the extra $$ for the upstairs VIP tickets, it looked as if just anyone over 21 could go up there... kind of a waste.

    Tony Sly was Amazing!!!!

by CrashQueenMargie on 5/9/10Beaumont Club - Kansas City

I really only went to this show to catch Tony Sly (vocals for No Use For a Name) perform his solo acoustic set, so that's all I can really review. Left for Austin to catch a different show before NOFX came out. Tony came out, and I gave a polite holler. The kid next to me said something about me hollering at the "tech". I cracked up. That's Tony Sly you idiot! Kid had no musical taste. Anyway, Tony comes out, adjusts the mike, plugs in the acoustic (yeah, sounds funny but you need to install a pickup and run it thru an amp if you want it to be heard) and introduces himself. "I'm the guy who came to interrupt the punk show." He played a fabulous set; most of the songs from his cd "12 Song Program" and a couple of NUFAN songs to fill in, claiming he didn't have enough material for a full set. I call foul on that. Tony, the only problem with the set is that it was over way too soon! This guy doesn't need a band; all he needs is a guitar and himself. Truly great. You wouldn't ordinarily associate a "punk" singer with acoustic guitar music, but Tony's voice has always been too melodic to be simply classified as "punk". I highly reccomend his cd. If he comes by my area of the country again, I will road trip to see him. Worth every penny. And it made me feel good, seeing him. Why? He was the only other person remotely close to my age that near the stage! Got some great pictures as well. Check him out!!!! (After the show, I checked his Facebook page, and he said he really enjoyed playing KC, that we totaally knew how to bring it. We do!)

    Overall sick show!

by POTE on 5/8/10Sunset Station Amphitheatre - Henderson

The show was plagued with technical problems from the start which set the band into a bad mood for the entire show, which is typical for NOFX. That and Henderson saying the show HAD to be over at 11pm or they would get fined, which led them to cut a ton of songs including bottles to the ground. Kent (sound/manager) did a great job on the soundboard last night though. My only gripe is the bands taking cheap shots at one another. Fucked Up's singer talking crap about Fat Mike, and Fat Mike/Hefe talking crap about Teenage Bottlerockets. This guy was standing next to me in the crowd and said "hey! look that way I'm about to piss in this cup". He finished, dropped the cup and ran away. A minute later NOFX played "Bob" and that guy got onstage and started singing, then was tackled by security. Fat Mike felt bad for the guy getting kicked out because he could actually sing. Once you look past all the problems and whinning of the night and focus on the music that was played, it was an awesome show!

    Nonstop brutal punk rock

    by Mikey1029384756 on 5/7/10Sunshine Theater - Albuquerque

Teenage bottle rocket and cobra skulls were lifechanging, and of course Tony Sly was great, even though he kind of brought down the energy considering the played an acoustic set. But Teenage Bottle rocket led up to NOFX with a high energy flawless performance. And NOFX? My ribs feel cracked and I can't walk on my left leg. Need I say more?

NOFX - More Talk, Less Rock Tour

    by RyanD797 on 5/6/10Pops - Sauget

NOFX is pretty friggin awesome! They had a nice long set and had some good opening bands with them too. Played up to my expectations, especially since not being in St. Louis for over 10 years. Drove to KC the next day to see them there too.
