    awesome

by Anonymous on 9/25/13San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - San Bernardino

great event! very open space and eveything needed was available. wish there were more portable restrooms and at least an additional water station. -Sound was the biggest issue. it was too quiet was you moved farther back. If an additional set of speakers were in the middle area, that may have helped.

    Krewella was epic

by CamelTime21 on 9/25/13San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - San Bernardino

Great rave. Artist were killer on stage, best I've ever seen. I would have given it 5 stars but it just wasn't loud enough. I was standing 50 feet from the biggest stage and could here everything my friend was saying. Bigger speakers is a must for next time!

Great music and stages, bad admin+toilets

by ChrQuart on 9/25/13San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - San Bernardino

+++ Music, stages, line-up, light shows and sound quality was very good. The venue/location was also fit for the task, a lot of people, but space to breath and relax between the stages +++ --- Three box offices and additional customer service was confusing. We picked up the tickets when we got there, and had to make 4 stops and spend time in 4 queues to find the appropriate place. Wasted almost an hour on that instead of enjoying the show. ---- ---- Restroom/toilet/pisso facilities severely under-dimentioned. Check out the Danish Roskilde festival. They have 100.000+ visitors and there are practically no restroom queues at all. How: 1. Increase the capacity (2x/3x). 2. Guys don't necessarily need a booth to take a leak. ---- Music and stages score: 5 Admin/Restroom score: 1 Overall: 3

    bad facilities

by catherinehann on 9/25/13San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - San Bernardino

the ground was all dust so bring a bandana or mask. I didnt and ended up with brown snot and a really sore throat. really bad parking system. They only have one road so it took forever to get in and out. not worth the 20$ you spend to even park there.

    VIP was not worth it

by Isavedtherave on 9/25/13San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - San Bernardino

I was actually a little disappointed with the limited VIP perks. The map said there would be VIP viewing areas, but there was only one and it was very small. The venue was also pretty windy - we should have been notified of the weather so that we could adequately prepare for the amount of dirt and dust we had to inhale. I'm still trying to recover from all that in my throat and nose. Also disappointed that Myon & Shane 54 performed so early in the night. They should have been towards the end!

    Nocturnal Wasteland

by Mxtine on 9/24/13San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - San Bernardino

I don't know what went wrong with this Insomniac event but it was not the best experience. The venue itself is beautiful. There was a serious lack of porta potties, and the parking situation was terrible. Offering camping and shuttle did nothing to help the main parking. We waited almost 3 hours to get out of the place and we left the venue and hour early! I'm slightly disappointed because I was expecting Nocturnal Wonderland to be as amazing as Beyond Wonderland was in March. As always, the stages were amazing but the techno tent (Alice's House) had THE best vibes despite a smaller stage. Maybe Pasquale needs to spend more on toilets and parking resolution than animated stages...

Insomniac kicks things up a notch

by versacegold on 9/24/13San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - San Bernardino

Once again, Insomniac outdid themselves. They continue to raise the bar for what a company must do to please the fans. Every detail from the stages, to the staff, to the little leds pointed on trees that are on the side of a building. Everything is taken into account, truly making this place a Nocturnal Wonderland.

    Awsome! Only one complaint

by KSoccer12 on 9/24/13San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - San Bernardino

So much fun attending Nocturnal this year. The decorations and stage set up was amazing! The line up was perfect. My only complaint about the night was the fact that I almost missed who I went there to see, Green Velvet. I was at another stage and planned to go to his stage an hour before his set so I could get a good spot. When I got there at 8:30pm, he was already on. I missed the whole intro but luckily got to see a whole 90 minutes! I know one of the DJ's didn't show up, but I feel like when that happens, the filler should take that spot and not move anyone else up sooner. I planned my whole evening around Green Velvets set. I would have been extremely disappointed had I shown up at 9:30pm instead.

    Frackture was amazing!!!!

by Firstcut on 9/24/13San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - San Bernardino

I saw quite a few acts. Some hugely famous, some not. But at The Discovery Project stage I saw a fantastic new DJ. His performing name is Frackture. He blew it away, smashed it! Anyone going by started dancing. It was AWESOME!!!!!

Music and stages were awesome - traffic, not

by Nrolo on 9/24/13San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - San Bernardino

The line-up was insane. Excision, Datsik, Netsky, Andy C, DJ Hype...all were awesome. Insomniac should set up wifi hotspots at their venues. It's always impossible to text your friends at these things. Also, the parking near the venue, was too crazy. It took forever to get out.

One of the best musical experiences I've had.

by DaOverw8Lover on 9/24/13San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - San Bernardino

This was my first rave, and I couldn't have picked a better one than Nocturnal Wonderland. From purchasing my tickets to getting inside the venue, everything was quick and painless. The venue itself was awesome, huge enough to fit 5 stages comfortably, yet still small enough that you weren't exhausting yourself walking back/forth between them. Also, being situated at the foot of the mountains and the forest wasn't too bad either. It really was a wonderland in that sense. I am definitely going next year and would also highly recommend it to others.

    Didn't accept credit cards/ATMs didn't work wtf

by Cmonnnn on 9/24/13San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - San Bernardino

Around 8pm all the food/drink/general vendors stopped accepting credit cards. Around the same time all of the ATMs stopped working. Obviously this caused huge problems if you wanted to buy alcohol or rehydrate with water/Gatorade or get something to eat. This lasted for like 4 hours. By the time everything started working again the event was nearly over and we were ready to leave. From what I understand, the ATMs and credit card machines operated off of wifi, and the wifi was malfunctioning. But this isn't insomniacs first event.. This shouldn't have been a problem. Ticket prices keep increasing and even though insomniac has a huge fan base they need to make the experience more consistent and avoid situations like this or they're probably going to lose a lot of their fan base

    Entertaining, but poorly managed

by ThePakman on 9/24/13San Manuel Amphitheater formerly Glen Helen Pavilion - San Bernardino

The lineup that was assembled for this event was very promising, but the festival layout and general management could use some improvement. Overall, I had a good time here, and the sets played were pretty good, but there were a few minor (and one major) problems that I encountered. I don't know why, but one of the sets that I was most looking forward to seeing was early in the day (Myon & Shane 54 at 5PM) and yet, i s a relatively big name headliner, especially compared to who played the next few sets after them. This odd set timing problem is only made worse by the fact that Insomniac is well known for promising release of festival lineups by a certain time and consistently releasing them late. For the amount of money charged for these events, I expect a little more professionalism. Also, the layout of the stages made moving from one end of the festival grounds to the other longer than I feel it needed to be and the parking situation was nothing short of a nightmare, particularly after the event. I had paid $40 for the "VIP Parking", which allowed me to park right near the main gate, but after the event, it took almost two hours before any of the cars near me were even able to start moving out onto the very small street that every other parking lot also emptied on to. Once I got onto the freeway (roughly 2.5 hours after the end of the event), I saw one of the other parking lots that was still completely full of people trying to get out. I can only imagine how long it took to empty the non VIP parking lots. For anyone considering going to another Insomniac event here, I would definitely suggest leaving around 10-15 minutes before the end of the event. It may very well save you several very frustrating hours of sitting in your car and trying to not get run off the road by other cars trying to get out.
