    Great Show. Great Price.

This show was very entertaining. Jamie Lissow was the headliner. He was hilarious. John Fisch and Nore Davis were also great; their material worked well for a crowd of mostly middle-aged people. I bought tickets to see Claudia Cogan who I heard on the radio. I thought she was great, but even she noted that the crowd didn't seem receptive to her jokes. Overall the material of the entire show is not appropriate for kids.

What's funny is in the eye of the beholder.

Good time, my wife and I enjoyed the evening out. The comedians from NYC were good but failed to adapt the comedy to target the Reading, PA audience. Sometimes, I really didn't get it! Maybe it is just me???

    something different to do

by Jolie13 on 11/26/10Sovereign Performing Arts Center - Reading

The comedians got funnier as the night progressed although the female was terrible. She had very little material to work with and couldn't understand why she wasn't getting any laughs. At least most of the language was clean-not too much swearing occurred. Something different to do on the night before Thanksgiving.
