    Random playlist

by The bandito on 4/9/24Brooklyn Bowl - Brooklyn

The music selection was nostalgic to say the least but the playlist had no rhyme or reason. We went from biggie to mamba #9 to old then to the backstreet boys. Made it really hard to enjoy the selection of tracks as we bounced around genres. Would have been nice if the tracks were curated to flow into one another. Requesting a song was optional but I note any of my friends heard a track they requested. Wouldn’t attend again.

    Fun! but not the parking.

by Nat on 11/7/239:30 CLUB - WASHINGTON

Event was extremely fun. Great music, of course. The only most upsetting thing was the parking. I paid $20 for reserved parking through TicketMaster. I drove around for 30 minutes "following the signs"and the 9:30 club parking was NOWHERE to be found!!! No one was able to help me! Very upset I paid for reserved parking and I had to pay more money to park right across the street.

    Top night !

by Millennial Mom on 11/7/239:30 CLUB - WASHINGTON

My cousin and I are both millennial moms who did our fair share of clubbing back in the day, but retired those nights to have kids. We occasionally do go out, but clubs have changed and obviously so has the music. So, this was the perfect night and scene! Everyone there genuinely enjoyed the music and was there to do just that. We did miss the dress up in your best 90s clothes memo, so that was disappointing. But overall the crowd and the vibe were awesome. The DJ truly played all genres and had a nice spread. Doors opened at 10- we didn’t get there until after 11 and it was already packed. The crowd did slow down by 1 so we wished we would have gotten there sooner! I read a review on here from a gen z complaining about “old people” and millennials being there and ruining their experience bc they were expecting a young crowd with a 90s theme. To you I say, go to your own parties! Don’t stomp on us enjoying music and clothing from OUR era. There were plenty of gen z peeps at our 90s dance party who didn’t seem bothered by us being there and enjoying ourselves. So I’m sorry YOU felt that way and maybe you personally should stay in your own lane? One day you too will be home more and in the club scene less, and you’ll appreciate nights out like these.

    So Much Fun!!

by SarahOC on 11/6/239:30 CLUB - WASHINGTON

The best mix of early to late 90's and different genres so everyone hears their favorites. I love how the crowd gets their fashion game on too!

    No Scrubs?

by Whatthe on 11/6/239:30 CLUB - WASHINGTON

No Scrubs implies hip hop and R&B. The DJs we ok in the beginning. To many slower songs, more of a sing along than a dance party. Then they switched to punk/rock/other music and killed the vibe. It was blatantly obvious this was the music the DJs preferred based on their reactions to it. The venue failed to enforce basic laws (vaping, smoking, were rampant).

    Could’ve been better

by Fan on 11/6/239:30 CLUB - WASHINGTON

While the song choices were good and varied to please the widest audience, the song transition could use some help.

    ..whelp..

by Hannah on 11/6/239:30 CLUB - WASHINGTON

When I saw they had the skinniest white men controlling the music I already know how this was going to go. When I heard Genie In a Bottle I had to leave. Where’s my Wu Tang Klan y’all?

So much fun, so much nostalgia

by Sssssss on 11/6/239:30 CLUB - WASHINGTON

What a great night! As a mom who listened to these songs through the 90’s this night literally had me screaming with joy! It was such an awesome night, great atmosphere, great group of people and just a great all round vibe. Loved it. Hope an 80’s and 70’s night happens too!

    Very disappointing

    by AO on 8/22/23

Went to the one at Rams Head in Baltimore back in June 2023, and I was VERY disappointed. The DJ played some 80s and 2000s music, which should NEVER be done at a strictly 90s dance party (i.e. - Salt-N-Pepa: Push It; Joe: Stutter). I've been to a number of No Scrubs parties in the past, and they've used other DJs and they were simply fantastic, and their music selection was on point. However, lately, this particular DJ simply wasn't that good. Plus the event ended at midnight, which was terrible.
