    Good atmosphere

by NJSIAA State Wrestling on 3/5/23Boardwalk Hall - Atlantic City

Atmosphere was great. The coat at the concessions were over priced and not being able to take food in stunk. Overall it was a good experience for my wrestler and family.

    My Grandson came in 3rd

    by G. L. on 3/8/22Boardwalk Hall - Atlantic City

I was grossly overcharged for tickets. I paid you close to $300 for Friday and Saturday events. We are seniors and other seniors got in for $2.00. Horrible that you took advantage of us. I am outraged.

NJ State High School Wrestling Championship

by crew on 3/14/20Boardwalk Hall - Atlantic City

Love this event, attend every year, at least 6 of us. We're a family of wrestlers, past and present, however, the finals are too long. The girls should be held on a separate day, or the times should be clarified much better. By the last 3 weight classes of the boys, they were wrestling to a half empty boardwalk hall, not fair to them. But, people get tired of sitting for 6 hours! This will discourage people from attending for sure. Needs to be re-evaluated.

Entrance was terrible, food prices were ridiculous

by Jb on 3/3/19Boardwalk Hall - Atlantic City

One entrance had to search everyone, line extremely long and slow. Could not take any food or drink in with you. But charged alot for water, coffee, pretzels, etc. Ridiculous.

    The Venue Is So-So

by Alfred C. Martino on 3/3/19Boardwalk Hall - Atlantic City

Boardwalk Hall is only a so-so venue. Antiquated. The center scoreboard is horrendously outdated. The acoustics are lousy. Thank God the wrestling was good (as expected), but otherwise I'd prefer to stay home and watch it live-streamed.

Overall good. The Thur., Fri., and Sat. was perfect!!

by Big Ben on 3/3/19Boardwalk Hall - Atlantic City

Only negative, for sure, was the entry lines. Very unorganized. From a Law Enforcement perspective, very unsafe, especially the Finals on Saturday. More should be done.

Awesome experience. Only 1 bad apple!

by GrandsnKids on 3/5/18Boardwalk Hall - Atlantic City

Venue was unbelievable, everyone from parking attendants to security were A-1. Except on day 2 morning we were sitting down and our grandson came to us for some cash to buy a soda. Out of nowhere comes a little guy telling us to clear the aisle. He was extremely rude to all of us. There was hardly anyone in the sections we were in and he wouldn't let up on us until my husband handed my grandson some cash. I'm assuming he had Napoleon syndrome because everyone else we encountered were more than helpful and extremely courteous. What a shame 1 guy leaves a bad taste. But we absolutely will return next year. Thank you for making this past weekend enjoyable.

    Great year for NJ wrestling

by WrestlerBob on 3/6/17Boardwalk Hall - Atlantic City

The wrestling was great. The officiating was good this year. There is still a gap between referees when calling stalling. Some call it as the rules require (when it occurs), but over half still let the time tick off, and can never award a penalty point for it. I wish to know when the rules changed regarding wrestlers to use drugs/medicine during a match. 20 years ago it was not allowed for a wrestler to use an inhaler, but I watched 2 matches that this occurred. Both matches were won by the wrestler using the inhaler. The venue needs to replace its jumbotron. There are much clearer screens out there now. I see a video billboard on route 29 leaving trenton that puts the AC unit to shame. It is difficult to see who is wrestling, unless you recognize the uniforms. I would also recommend the towers at each match be replaced. The bout number is impossible to read unless you are in front of it. The announcing was very good.

    High School Wrestlling State Finals

by 31yearswrestlingfan on 3/16/16Boardwalk Hall - Atlantic City

A very good venue for the finals. Concession stands, restrooms, eating areas, vendor booths all convenient and easy to access.
