Nikka Costa Tickets

I have been a fan of Nikka Costa for many years. This is my third show and of course, she delivered. She is not only gorgeous but she got some serious pipes! Nikka is the barometer by which ALL performers should measure themselves. Her vocals are all kiler, no filler. She has a sense of humor and a sense of gratitude. The musicians that back her up are amazing as well. (The trumpet player rocks!) Nikka has fun with the audience and engages them. She has reverence for the songs that she knows her fans want to hear ("Like a Feather" "Everybody Got Their Something") and thankfully, includes them on the setlist. I cannot overstate how excited I was to hear a couple of new songs that blew my mind! Particularly, "Never Want To See You Again"... it has a rich, lounge-fly, seductive vibe.. the closest comparison I can make is the lush sound of "Damn I Said It First" off of the Pebble to a Pearl album. In the world of homogenized 'music' she is rare - a performer, songwriter, drummer, guitarist, and all-around foxy lady. She is the single most under-rated female vocalist/performer on the planet. And although I think it's a shame that her music is not considered 'radio-friendly' it only makes you appreciate her more for not selling out.

Nikka's energy was amazing!!!! Her interaction with the audience made her performance so intimate, I felt that I had a personal insight on one of favorite performers!!! Her new songs are great and can't wait to get the full length.Nikka Costa is one rock star you shouldn't miss when she comes to town cause she will rock your ass off baby!!!!

What a performance and LIVE!!!! at the Roxy.... Nikka came onto the stage ready to rock, bringing the crowd to their feet,, and it has already started. The people are up for what she is about to dish out... Nikka makes it happen, communicates not just through her music but will make it personal for those who need that little extra. Dancing, singing, sweating and taken it to the drums banging the hell out of it.. Loud enough to get your heart pounding yet not deaf and ringing on the way out. She not only does a spectacular job but will also include letting her band shine, showing their talents in adding to an already hot experience. The bass player Shawn Davis taking it to an ever higher level in showing his passion for playing moving his soul, making the house rock, cheering, whistles, hands together from the crowd, just keep it going. Everybody!!,, rock'n and roll'n to every song, singing along having a great time.. Worth a 200.00 ticket for this event , yet priced for economy of today, so that anybody wanting to see her and her band would be able to afford it.

I've seen Nikka Costa many times in LA over the years. I've seen her at Temple Bar, The Troubadour & The Roxy, and each time she blows the audience away and burns the venue down. She did it again this past Friday. The Fire Department better make sure it buys tickets to all her shows otherwise the whole country will be smokin'. ;) Oh, and Nikka needs to record a live album!

Everybody's got their something but Nikka is one of the BEST artist out here and she continues to prove it! Not only was she awesome but Nikka rocked sexy beautiful. She was entertaining, very charming, raw and of course sounded amazing. Can't wait for the new album. Keep up the good work, WE LOVE YOU NIKKA!!!!

Love Nikka. She's a consumate performer with great upbeat songs, an amazing voice and overall worth waiting for. She does all upbeat songs (no ballads) so if you're a fan of say, "Push and Pull" then you might be disappointed although she is just great. The Roxy on the other hand? Sound system was not up to par. And, show up ONLY to see the name act as the openers were all amateurs. Nikka didn't start until after 10:30 and since there are NO chairs (only reserved tables which is code word for "pay for a table" / several stayed empty) which means you'll have to stand for three hours before the main event. And, don't go hungry....only 5 items - all fried and frozen and the fried zucchin's texture was like someone chewed it ahead of time and then refried it (or reused....just the worst thing I've ever put in my mouth in a long time), Long lines for the bathroom since one stall was broken and overall the bathrooms are filfy, moldy tiles, just so sad. Far from the club that it used to be unfortunately.

I have been to many, many shows in my life. I have seen Nikka a number of times. This was the best show I have EVER seen in my life. She is incredibly talented and puts on an amazing show. I wish I could see it all over again.

I WILL GO SEE NIKKA COSTA EVERYTIME SHE PLAYS!!!!! I HAVE SEEN HER A FEW TIMES & SHE JUST GETS BETTER & BETTER!! SHE IS A WICKED COOL CHIC, WITH A JANIS, FUNKY SOUL ROCK SOUND!!!!!!!! CAN YOU TOP THAT??? I DON'T THINK SO!!! THIS GIRL RULES CALIFORNIA & I'M PSYCHED I LIVE HERE SO I GET TO SEE HER ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!!!! NIKKA KICKS SERIOUS ASS!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND SEEING HER LIVE!!

The show was in a perfectly intimate setting where I could see Nikka and the band up close. Making the show even better! She is an amazing singer and lyricist. I have been listening to Nikka Costa for almost 10 years and this was the first show I had ever been to! I was not disappointed. She puts on an amazing performance and had me singing along and even crying to Push and Pull. I would see her again and again!

When Nikka comes on stage she brings an energy that makes you love her even more. She doesn't hold back. I love her songs, and seeing her live takes them to a whole new level.
