About

Nicki Minaj is a multi-platinum-selling rapper from the island of Trinidad. After being discovered by Lil Wayne in the late 2000s, Minaj signed with Young Money Entertainment and quickly began breaking records — becoming the first female artist to top Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs chart in nearly a decade thanks to her 2010 single “Your Love,” which was featured on her Grammy-nominated debut studio album Pink Friday. That album took the music industry by storm, delivering the Diamond-certified smash “Super Bass” and introducing fans to the rapper’s penchant for alter egos among her blistering lyricism and rapid-fire flow. Considered one of the greatest female rappers of all time, some of Minaj’s biggest singles include “Starships,” the Grammy-nominated “Anaconda” and “Chun-Li.” She scored her first solo No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2022 with “Super Freaky Girl” — the lead single off her fifth studio album, 2023’s Pink Friday 2.

    It could have been better

by Jordana on 5/15/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

The concert was scheduled for 8pm. The DJ came out about 9:30pm to 10:30pm. She didn't come out till around 11pm. Monica came out mid show. Nicki took like 3 gap breaks in between her show. The show didn't end till almost 1am. The show it self was good. Everything was just way to dragged out. If it was going to be like that I would have liked a heads up. Everyone was just so confused.

    She wasn't lying...

by NanCrrrrrrr on 5/15/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

This wasn't just a concert, this was an experience from the moment you enter the energy is different, DjBoof was great normally ppl keep arriving up until right b4 the main performer here the arena was full by 8:30, when Nicki said this was a tour not to miss she wasn't lying. No other performer has given this type of experience. I literally had to go to more shows just to relive it. Absolutely if you get a chance goooo to see the Queen you won't regret it.

    Gag city VIP

by Daamsun on 5/15/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

I bought these tickets to go see Nicki Minaj for a birthday/ Mother’s Day gift. She is a huge barb and I naturally listen to her music too because she’s always listening to her. This was my first vip ticket to a concert and the experience was amazing. The vip room was cool as hell. The food and snacks were good too. The bartender up there was amazing. She was a bit heavy handed but no one complains about that ever. It’s funny because they sent a schedule out and everything was later than what they said but she did not disappoint. DJ boof was only supposed to play for 30 minutes but he was 30 minutes late and he played for an hour so that was awesome. Then Nicki didn’t come out till 10:45ish but she put on one hell of a performance out there. She was definitely into it too. The crowd was loving her and she was feeling it. She ended up performing starships, which I heard she has only been playing clips of it along her tour. She played FTCU and invited multiple people on stage with her. She played all the way until 1am and killed it out there. It was well worth the price of admission. My only gripe is the stupid woman who decided to join her friends and the had 3 people to 2 seats. She needed to leave and go back to her seat but I’m not taking off anything from the rating because it’s nothing that the artist did to deserve a lower rating

    GAG CITY EXPERIENCE

by Yojosay on 5/15/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

Nicki Minaj, the reining QUEEN OF RAP. The concert was amazing, her energy that she put into the music and performance was amazing. I couldn’t believe what I experienced, everything was MAGICAL! The crowd was also great, singing along to some of Nicki’s classics and from the new album “Pink Friday 2”. The merchandise was also very pretty

    Good Show!

by Blossom on 5/15/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

The show started late and it took Nicki a while to perform but good show. Her target audience was in full affect. Loved Monica but the new generation wasn’t familiar with her so that was a sorry moment but good show overall! Still love Nicki!

    Just Okay

by Jenna on 5/15/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

A little disappointed because I dropped quite a bit of money on this concert. Nicki didn’t seem to give a lot of effort in singing, rapping or dancing. The second half of the show was better but the whole thing was way too long and didn’t end until after 12am. The backup singer vocals were amazing but overpowered we couldn’t hear Nicki or Monica over the backup singer.

Great show, only go if you have all the time in the world

by Texas dude on 5/15/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

Two hours late, didn’t feel like she gave her all and then talked way too much between. Hate getting out a show late cause then you can’t even go out

by Lilly on 5/15/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

This has been the best experience ever. Nikki has got me through some rough times with her music, but I saw her effort, the display, her engagement. You really feel like she was there for just you and to top it off. I enjoyed her on Mother's Day! Thank you!!

    Nicki Minaj disappoints

by Clara Jane on 5/15/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

I went to see Nicki Minaj on Sunday, May 12, 2024. I took two of my daughters, the youngest one (20yo) is the diehard Nicki Minaj fan. The show had an 8pm start time. Nicki came on at 10:45. There was no opening act. This late start is very disrespectful, especially on a work/school night. When Nicki started, she sang for 12 minutes, took a 5 minute break, sang for 15 minutes, took another five minute break, sang for 10 more minutes, left the stage, and then Monica came out. Monica was still singing strong at midnight when we had to call it. My daughter and I had work the next day. I will say that for the 35 minutes Nicki actually sang, she was solid. However, I did not get my moneys worth, and those were expensive tickets! Also, my youngest daughter was so disappointed in Nicki Minaj personally that Nicki thought so little of her fans. We have been fans of Nicki Minaj for years, and we were shocked and let down by her diva behavior. I can’t help but compare this experience to last year when I took my daughters to see Taylor Swift. Say what you want about Taylor Swift, her concert started at eight on the dot and she sang for three solid hours. Taylor Swift sets the standard for respect for fans.

    Amazing!!!

by Barb on 5/15/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

Nicki did one of the best shows I have ever been to. Her fan’s bring so much energy to the performance and she did amazing!! Please tell security to back off, I was smoking a blunt and there was one security that would not leave me alone! Literally staring me down the whole show. Please tell security to let people who pay money enjoy their experience. Especially when the customer has a floor seat! Other than that, Nicki is the queen!!!! 🩷

    No consideration for fans

by Disappointed customer on 5/15/24Moody Center ATX - Austin

1st off, the Moody Center is great. Great view from any angle you sit at. As far as the Nicki Minaj concert, she was late coming out and seemed like a life time. Not worth waiting that long.
