  • Underwhelming

Too much talent on stage to deliver this level of comedy. Noticed couples around us looking at each other uncomfortably. Did not walk out, waited for the show to get better. It never did. Similar conversations while walking out after this performance.

  • very disappointing!

Can't say I've never walked out of a show, but this is certainly the most expensive show I've walked out of. I sat through an hour of this pile of garbage hoping at some point there would be a bit we would find funny. We did not. A musical show by two people with no musical talent. An attempt at edgy, raunchy humor by people who just don't get it. We were hoping for a show like book of mormon or louis c.k., not even on the same planet. Don't waste your time.

  • Boring and disappointing show w/ delightful stars

    by Happy215 on 8/21/16Merriam Theater - PhiladelphiaRating: 2 out of 5

Nick and Megan are terrific actors and likable people, but this show was a snoozefest. They spent time on their political views and Nick was often hard to understand. It was slow going. (Perhaps an occasional slip into their respective television characters that made them household names?) They need SOMETHING to make this more enjoyable. Their dog was adorable and if it weren't for the 'finale' I'd have given one fewer star. (Full disclosure, the theater was crappy with zero leg room and people sitting on top of each other. HOWEVER, if the show was great, I would have forgotten my discomfort and gotten lost in the show.)

  • I thought I liked this guy!

I was so excited to see his show! I have watched, attended and enjoyed many comedy shows. I love comedy! I think I have a pretty open mind and am not easily offended. I have NEVER walked out during a show until recently when I saw Nick Offerman. He tries to make you laugh, not by saying things that are truly funny, but with boring songs filled with the most absurd or offensive ideas he can think of. I love DPAC, but Jeff, not so much now.

  • Comedy is subjective...but I was not a fan

by DisappointedinFW on 5/6/16Global Event Center at WinStar World Casino and Resort - ThackervilleRating: 1 out of 5

During Nick's act he sings a song called "I'm not Ron Swanson." And that couldn't be more true. I bought the tickets w/o ever seeing his stand-up (if that's what you want to call it), based on liking his Parks & Rec character. Little did I know I was gonna be hearing a random smattering of abstract thoughts, mostly concerning pubic hair. To top it off the Winstar venue is awful. A ballroom with packed in uncomfortable chairs. Will not see him again, and definitely won't see a show there again.

  • Nick is the man!

by Mackinit on 4/25/16Global Event Center at WinStar World Casino and Resort - ThackervilleRating: 4 out of 5

The concert started right on time and he was quite funny - typical dry sense of humor and very interesting points of view. We took friends with us that had not seen Nick before and the songs that he sang while very creative and bust out loud funny were a bit melancholy so it was lulling them to sleep. If you know him, then you love him and can't get enough!

The show was great! Nick Offerman is hilarious and great at engaging the crowd.

  • Just not funny.

by BShea0505 on 4/13/16Global Event Center at WinStar World Casino and Resort - ThackervilleRating: 1 out of 5

This review is in no way a comparison to Nick's character on Park & Rec, nor is it ignorant to Nick's "dry sense of humor," which many people warned me about prior to attending the event as if to soften the shock of attending a non-traditional comedy show. I will admit that Nick's stand-up is very non-traditional. Comedy shows are traditionally funny. I've been to several comedy shows at local laugh shacks and sat many times in front brick-walled backgrounds of various comedy clubs. I can't remember a single comedian that made me want to leave or ask for a refund. I've also never turned on a comedy show on Comedy Central or Netflix and just thought, "eh, it's not that funny." Nick was able to be the first, with an hour-and-a-half show of repeated references to bush-like pubic hair, and woodworking. Only 1 person in our party of over 15 remarked that he thought the show was hilarious; it was his birthday overall, so I guess the night wasn't a complete bust. Good on you, Nick - you made the birthday boy laugh. I don't typically like stand-up which utilizes musical instruments and hokey, pun-filled songs and that was just the icing on the cake. Nick played 4-5 songs, if I recall correctly, only one of which was relatable concerning the ridiculous and annoying monster that Facebook has become. The rest of the act involved a lot of mumbling and seemingly made-up comments used as a buffer between songs. I felt depressed several times during the show when Nick would make another reference to his hobby of wood working to keep out of the bottom of a whiskey jar. I get it. It's sad; he copes, he deals... he brings down the audience who replies with an awkward chuckle of support just so he'll get to the next comment. Overall, Nick's comedy wasn't "dry" as many warned, it just wasn't comical.

  • Great show, smoky venue

by Shamy52 on 4/13/16Global Event Center at WinStar World Casino and Resort - ThackervilleRating: 5 out of 5

The show was absolutely great, it was at a casino so I'm sad to say I came home with a sore throat and stinky clothes and hair because of the cigarette smoke. But Nick Offerman is great and he made the stink worth it! :D

  • Comic was great.

Nick Offerman did a great job. He did an hour and forty five minute show, and kept the audience engaged. The venue at Winstar was not good. The seating was folding chairs on flat floor. Every fifty rows or so there was a four inch riser. Very difficult to see.

  • Nick Offerman is hilarious!

So glad we had a chance to see him in person. Awesome show. Would love to see him again. The show was sold out so I am glad I got tickets when I did!

  • Meh. (Well, a little worse than meh...)

by NOTRonSwanson on 4/12/16Global Event Center at WinStar World Casino and Resort - ThackervilleRating: 2 out of 5

Not a good show. Other than the Facebook song, his I'm Not Ron Swanson song, and all the women giggling everytime that Nick made his little annoying giggle laugh, there wasn't anything funny about the show.

Nicks show was great! Very entertaining, one of the best comedy shows Ive seen in a while.

  • Offerman is a non-stop, laugh out loud event!

by LKAC on 4/12/16Global Event Center at WinStar World Casino and Resort - ThackervilleRating: 5 out of 5

I got tickets for my husband as a Christmas gift for him, but I found Nick every bit as funny as he did. He's a comedian I would keep coming back to see. I only feel the same way about Seinfeld, so Nick is in that upper echelon of comedic creativity. I highly recommend you go.

  • Worth it

by mmbc168 on 4/12/16Global Event Center at WinStar World Casino and Resort - ThackervilleRating: 5 out of 5

This was an absolute riot. Had a great time. Venue left something to be desired, but Nick made up for it and more! Will come see him live again. Loved that it's all new material as well!

  • GO....SEE...OFFERMAN!

by Fluffyapple on 4/12/16Global Event Center at WinStar World Casino and Resort - ThackervilleRating: 5 out of 5

If you ever get the opportunity, go see the Everyman, Nick Offerman. You don't have to like Parks and Rec, or Will and Grace (which his lovely wife was a part of) to appreciate the Renaissance Man in all his glory! That being said, this is not for the faint of heart or character, the weak-willed, the under-age or the moron. But if you have your wits about you, you will not be disappointed. GO SEE NICK OFFERMAN! 'Nuff said!

  • FULL BUSH

by Breeni on 4/12/16Global Event Center at WinStar World Casino and Resort - ThackervilleRating: 5 out of 5

Nick Offerman is a genius. His Full Bush was the highlight of my life since conception. His awkwardly phrased sentences are so relatable and amazing. Let's just clone Nick Offerman so that little Nicks can just run the world. I feel like little Nick Offermans running all the Subways, all the "Vape Lounges", and wherever else hipsters hangout would make the world entirely too amazing...I would imload. Thank you King Nick Offerman.

Awesome show!! Better than expected! Always thought Nick Offerman was funny on Parks and Recreation but was a little wary of his stand-up. I was wrong to doubt him! The show was great from beginning to end!!

  • Must See

  • Comedy with Style

by MarikoTrue on 10/25/15The Wilbur - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

I have been a fan of Nick Offerman for a long time. Seeing him in person was still amazing. He is funny, charismatic and talented. His anecdotes were funny. I find that type of comedy far more satisfying than one-liners. His giggle is infectious, were it a ring tone, I would buy it. Nick Offerman also played songs on his guitar and on a ukulele (a ukulele that he made himself). My seat was on the main floor, in the rear of the main floor. However visibility was not a problem. My seat was comfortable. I am looking forward to the next time Nick Offerman performs at The Wilbur.
