Rating: 4 out of 5Officer/Guard should guide in Medical issues.
by RAMBO1969 on 5/23/10Central Broward Regional Park - LauderhillI will suggest having a medical team available for anyone who might need medical assistance. We had a little medical issue for which I walk with medication in my vehicle. I was never told I could not go back to my vehicle during the one hour break between games. I was told that I cannot bring bottle and bags in the facility. I spoke to an Officer/Guard at the Entrance/Exit to let me out to go and get my son's medicine and the guard refused to let out. Instead, the officer/guard (P. Hackensaw or maybe Hackman is his name) said, "just for making a stupid line like that, I should just throw you out". I had my son with me at that time when the officer said that. I offered to call the Pharmacist to comfirm my son's medication and the officer laugh at me. The officer did do not offer to help me or guide me in anyway to get my son his medicine. I will be looking into making a formal complaint against this officer to prevent any real die hard emergency in the future. I also witness a guy walking around selling beers asking for tips in an aggressive way. I do hope the people who are responsible for this event can use these issues to better facilitate the customers that need help and train the workers that they are there to work (to provide a service) not to harrass the customers for tips etc. I live in Ocoee (next to Orlando, Flroida) and will still attend other events with my son in the future. Thank you for your help.
