New Jersey Devils History
The New Jersey Devils were born in 1982, the third incarnation of a franchise that began as the Kansas City Scouts (1974-76) before spending six years in Denver as the Colorado Rockies. The arrival of president/general manager Lou Lamoriello in 1987 started the franchise's rise to the NHL elite. The Devils made the playoffs in 21 of the next 24 seasons, including five trips to the Stanley Cup Final.
The Devils made it as far as the conference finals in the 1987-1988 and 1993-1994 seasons, preparing them for their historic run the following year in which they won their first Stanley Cup Championship, sweeping the Detroit Red Wings.
The Devils returned to the Stanley Cup Final in 2000, dispatching the Dallas Stars in six games on an iconic double-overtime Cup-clinching goal by Jason Arnott. The next season, as the best offensive team in the NHL, they returned to the Final.
The Devils' stretch of dominance was far from over, though. They won their third Stanley Cup Championship in 2003, spoiling the Anaheim Ducks’ first-ever playoff run with a Game 7 shutout orchestrated by Martin Brodeur. To date, the club has won three Stanley Cup Championships and five Eastern Conference Championships.
In 2022, the Devils returned to the second round of the playoffs—their first time since 2011. Led by young stars Jack Hughes and Nico Hischier, the Devils defeated their long-time rivals the New York Rangers in the first round, before losing their next series to the Carolina Hurricanes.

That was my first experience with resale ticket and it was great. Enough information, I felt assured and it worked well. The second row seat was exactly as I expected. One small advice to “newcomers”, if your ticket to Prudential Centre mentions “food included” ask guides how to get the bracelet!
My dad and I had a great time at the game. Everyone was super friendly, had good food, and the vibes after each goal was electric as always. Wish we could’ve got the win but still a great time.
I'm a huge Devils fan.. The Rock is definitely the place to go to see them. I dont know about other arenas, but Prudential Center is such a nice place. Best parking is in the attached garage. Every time I go, it's a good time.
As for a First time Hockey fan watching live, Very memorable and wonderful game. I love New Jersey Devils, from the hockey rink, to the staff and workers, foods and the crowd and fans, they are all amazing. Kind and nice people.
The seats were fantastic, not so much for the game. The Devils were very sluggish.

Venue prices and parking have gotten out of control. Ticket prices are already elevated but add to that severely overpriced food and parking. As a former season ticket holder and someone who regularly attended this venue for sports and concerts , I can honestly say this was my last Devil's home game that I'll attend.
Although the Devils lost. My son and I had a great experience. Got him behind the bench seats. Vegas coach tossed my son a puck at the end of warmups. The lounges were great. They had prime rib which to my surprise was great. Bathrooms had no line at all in the lounge next to seats. Staff was great in the lounge areas. Will purchase lounge seats next time for sure because of this. The food and drinks that you get add up substantially bringing the value you get compared to a none lounge high price ticket.
First hockey game for my 2 boys. Between the game, the Devil, and other distractions, they had a great time!

Had a great time at the game tonite …. Nice that the Devils won… but it was nicer to see the entertainment carried out during the game for the fans.

Watching Ice Hockey in New Jersey was an experience which I would not want to repeat. It was ultra hyped up and the advertising constantly throughout the match detracted somewhat to game itself.
Honestly I enjoy going to the prudential center because it is very accesible. It has a lot of easy parking options around the venue but you can also take the train if don’t feel like driving. The game was fun and entertaining. Food and drink prices are the only downside of going there. A $6 water is a crime.
Easy entry, lines weren’t too bad anywhere. Good visibility from our seats. No complaints at all.

Seats were great on the restaurant ledge. Typical buffet food. Some really good, some not as much. Wait staff for drinks was very attentive. Nice change from my normal seats in 229.
Devil’s game was great. Food and beverage selection was great. Facility staff was pleasant and helpful. Seat comfort for the cost was below average. No cup holder and no legroom.
