  • The best wrestling show I been at since 2007!

by Ish on 11/16/21San Jose Civic - San JoseRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first ever New Japan Show and wrestling show since 2007. And man it was amazing. All the matches were great even though I missed out on the pre show and on first match due to the fog. Shoutout to the one wrestler who cussed me out during the show. This show made 2 new fans which was my Friend and me. Also meet a couple of wrestlers after the show which made the experience better. Wished that they sold a poster or even a program at the show thoe.

  • Amazing!

Amazing event by NJPW! The athleticism and professionalism by these pros are top notch!

  • Worth it.

by FADE on 11/16/21Rating: 5 out of 5

Went to the LA Memorial show and just came from the Riverside show, both shows were solid events with non stop matches. None of that in between match WWE filler backstage promo crud, just pure wrestling. Anything with Jay White and BC, Juice Robinson, Ishii and Ospreay is worth paying for, especially Juice!

This wrestling event was my first but far from last, because of the crowd and the actual performances i was mesmerized and could take my eyes of the stage

  • Fun and exciting! More than we hoped for!

by Kevin Bunny17 on 8/17/21Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

New Japan did a wonderful job creating an event with great talent and exciting surprise guests. The consistent collaboration between NJPW, AEW, Impact, ROH, NWA, AAA, GCW, and other companies has been such a wonderful childhood dream come true. The best part? You can tell they're having fun, which makes it fun for the fans. I didn't watch wrestling for decades until a friend finally got the NJPW World subscription. The gifted athletes brought me back in, and AEW showed up with the mix of theater and silliness I grew up with. Putting these two together and drawing others in was the best thing to ever happen to pro wrestling. The Tomohiro Ishii vs Moose match at Resurgence was not only the one I looked forward to most, but my favorite of the night. Well done, everyone. I look forward to you adding Phoenix to your destination list.

  • Bad experience from check in to exit

by NJPW Resurgence on 8/17/21Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los AngelesRating: 1 out of 5

    - the line to get into the ONE entrance was atrocious - the setup was embarrassing. Ring looked like a county fair, bathrooms forever far away - the chairs were on top of each other. 40% of the crowd had to stand in aisle ways because there was nowhere to sit - they planned it so poorly that another event was going on very close by with a band and fireworks that went off during the match The whole thing felt very JV

  • So much better than I could have imagined

by G2Sweet on 8/17/21Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Full disclosure, this was my first ever wrestling show so, maybe my experience was a little more special due to that. The show was amazing, more than delivered on what was promised. I wasn't aware that it was a cash free event, however that is 100% on me as I didn't actually do any research before going lol. I'll be going to the show they do in Riverside, so obviously I had a good time, highly recommended

  • Awesome show!

by NewJapanStan72 on 8/17/21Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

It was an awesome show. Everything was great, there were excellent matches. The worst part about the show was the music at the event next door and the fireworks. But the show runners themselves couldn't stop that from happening. It was irresponsible for the arena to allow a private party next door when they knew there was going to be a show that night. Anyways, it was an overall great experience.

  • Great To Be Back

by dortmunder on 8/17/21Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

New Japan put on a classic with Resurgence. The Torch outside of the Coliseum was an amazing setting and a gorgeous backdrop to the action. The show was filled with surprises, like the appearance by Will Osprey. It had drama with surprise loss of the belt by Lance Archer and The Good Brothers pulling a surprise upset on Jon Moxley and Nagata. It even had heart with Archer’s heartfelt speech at the end of the show. The crowd is so important to wrestling, and this crowd could not have been more into the show. It felt so good to be back at a live show and you could see that the wrestlers really fed off the energy of the crowd, giving it all in the ring.

  • New Japan Pro Wrestling is back!

Fun night. The tag matches were fun. Jay White-David Finlay stole the show. Chilly af for an LA night in August outdoors.

  • Overall great

by Robbie on 8/17/21Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

Seats are uncomfortable after 3 hours, loved the food truck option.

  • Never Before, Definitely Again

by IngobernableCats on 2/11/20Coca-Cola Roxy - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

The experience was incredibly fun, the meet and greets were very pleasant, it was plenty of merchandise, and the atmosphere was great. Besides needing more variety of merchandise for different wrestlers and stables, the closeness of everyone’s seats was somewhat troublesome. But other than the minor things, I would definitely recommend this.

  • Great show, wrong venue

    by R. G. on 2/5/20Coca-Cola Roxy - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

The title pretty much says it all. NJPW put on a great show. Coca Cola Roxy is a very nice venue. It just isn't set up very well for a wrestling show. The way the guard rails are set up you end up trying to peer over, or look through them to see the ring and a lot of the floor action is obscured. I can't complain about too much, would go see NJPW again. May go back to Coca Cola Roxy, but probably not for another wrestling show.

  • Good Show Terrible Venue

by CANNON on 2/5/20Coca-Cola Roxy - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

NJPW put on a really good show. I greatly enjoyed YTR & Colt Cabana as well as the main event. Plus we got to see Tanahashi with the Rock n Roll Express! My complaints are solely with the venue. The tickets for the upper side sections do not provide a sight line to the ring let alone most of the stage. There are columns blocking some seats but also the angle of the upper stadium seats do not allow for visibility to large portions of the ring (even when standing). To further the issue the Roxy has VIP tables that you can upgrade to for $50/person. Once occupied these table block any view of the ring you originally had. TL:DR The Roxy is a terrible venue for a wrestling show. If you do attend a show here be sure to purchase floor seats.

  • Real Japanese style Pro-Wrestling was here

    by Shihan T on 2/4/20Coca-Cola Roxy - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

NJPW’s super stars show us sprits. I wish they come back soon.

  • Not a great venue for wrestling.

by WrestlingFan on 2/4/20Coca-Cola Roxy - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5

The upper sections on both sides of the stage are obstructed view. When the ring is in the middle of the floor it is completely cut off if you are sitting down. We had to move 3 times to finally be able to see. It would have been fine if that was sold as a general admission section, and price. The upper seating is too low to be able to get a decent view at a ring unless they somehow put the ring on stage.
