NEW FOUND GLORY IN CONCERT:
The morning of a New Found Glory concert, feel free to skip your coffee or Red Bull -- you'll get all the energy you need once the Florida-bred punk rockers take the stage. Since bursting onto the scene almost two decades ago, they've been giving punk contemporaries like Green Day and Blink-182 -- both of whom they've supported on tour -- a run for their money as one of the genre's most influential acts. They continue to live up to that reputation with show-stopping live performances packed with hits from the early '00s and recent jams off their 2014 album Resurrection. Frontman Jordan Pundik riles up the crowd with catchy choruses, inviting ticket buyers to revel in his spectacle as the band plows ahead at full steam. Some things never change -- mosh pits and crowd surfing are still staples at New Found Glory's live shows, creating an adrenaline-filled atmosphere that perfectly suits the band's epic catalog of shout-along anthems.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
New Found Glory was formed in 1997 in Coral Springs, FL by singer Jordan Pundik, guitarists Steve Klein and Chad Gilbert, bassist Ian Grushka, and drummer Cyrus Bolooki. Their debut EP, 1997's It's All About The Girls, introduced them to an enthusiastic underground fanbase and landed them a deal with Drive-Thru Records. In 1999 they released their debut full-length album Nothing Gold Can Stay, which spawned the hit single "Hit Or Miss" and peaked at No. 15 on the US Modern Rock Chart. They followed up in 2000 with a self-titled sophomore album that reached No. 1 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart and spent 21 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart. Their third and fourth albums -- 2002's Sticks And Stones and 2004's Catalyst -- peaked at No. 3 and No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart and were certified gold by the RIAA. The band has been playing as a quartet since guitarist Steve Klein left the band in 2013, but they still rock as hard as ever on their must-see tours.

by mattimus on 2/9/10Masquerade - AtlantaNew Found Glory put on a great show and I really liked that they mostly played their older albums. However, Saves the Day played before them and was amazing. I only wish they had been able to play more songs. I especially enjoy when they play their old songs (Sell All My Old Clothes I'm Off to Heaven was spectacular). I definitely recommend this event.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Fantastic stage presence!
by ryanv2 on 2/9/10Palladium Showroom (Gilleys) - DallasNew Found Glory always puts on a phenomenal show. Mixing in old with new to create a very balanced setlist. One of the most active bands to see live. I will never miss a show!
Rating: 3 out of 5 It was alright.
by savesthedayfan on 2/8/10Masquerade - AtlantaI really only came to hear Saves the Day, but they didn't get to play very long. Overall it was a decent show. It's my fault for not being a Fireworks, Hellogoodbye, or New Found Glory fan.
Rating: 4 out of 5 great show!

by chyeaah on 2/7/10Masquerade - Atlantahellogoodbye played well considering they had left half of their normal equipment behind to make it to the show on time. saves the day was AMAZING. they could have played more from stay what you and ups and downs but there's nothing wrong with kickin it old school and playing older albums. New found glory was awesome, as they always are. they played their self-titled album start to finish and a one or two old songs and a few off their newest album. their new album is awesome; their music will never get old

by somegirlsarecrazy on 2/4/10The Palladium Ballroom - Dallasi've been to my fair share of shows - and NFG's set was by far the best show i have ever seen. i was unaware that they'd be playing their entire self-titled album so when i finally caught on to this i flipped out!! i was so stoked! they nailed every song and their energy never faded. even after finishing the album they went straight into all their other hits from next albums. bands these days just don't put much effort into a GOOD live show (for ex: the 3 opening bands) but NFG did.. i felt like i was 14 again watching my favorite pop punk band of all time. i'm on top of the world right now.

by LuvJude on 2/4/10The Palladium Ballroom - DallasThe show was great. The music was amazing but we could not hear the lead singers of any of the bands( and we were front row). The only band we could hear completely was New Found Glory. They sounded amazing. Loved the entire show. Maybe it was just the venue. Gilleys or something?

Rating: 5 out of 5by RCheathm on 2/4/10The Palladium Ballroom - Dallas Sick show! I didn't really know anything about the opening bands but they all put on a good show. NFG rocked my face off with their set. I would go see the show again tonight if it was an option.

by Simplyme1716 on 1/30/10House of Blues San Diego - San DiegoWell, I have to say that New Found Glory was great. But the others were not. When Fireworks sang, the guitar and drums overshadowed all the lyrics. It seemed like their equipment were not balanced properly. Then for Hellogoodbye, that was a disaster. There equipment were not working and they spent most of their time on stage trying to get it fixed in between songs than actually singing. Saves the Day was pretty good. New Found Glory was by far the best! The crowd was pretty rowdy. It was fun though. I enjoyed the concert overall. but was just disappointed in the opening acts. : (

by Belortik on 11/15/09Peabody's Downunder - ClevelandNFG always puts on an excellent show and this one was no exception. The venue offered a very personal show with them. NFG is one of the friendliest bands I have every seen. The would let people come up on stage in sing with them all the time. And the involve the crowd unlike any other band. In short NFG IS AWESOME! I would suggest anyone to go see them.
