NEW EDITION IN CONCERT:

Style and charisma never go out of fashion, and legendary R&B group New Edition is a case in point. Paving the way for the boy band movement of the '80s and '90s with their meticulously coordinated image and tight vocal interplay, Bobby Brown and company continue to be the stuff of teen dreams, bringing audiences to their feet for a trip down memory lane at their dazzling live shows. Reunited (and it feels so good, ) the band's six original members hit the road in 2014 for a much-anticipated tour, treating fans to their finely-tailored threads and hits like "Candy Girl" and  "Cool It Down."

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Formed in Boston in 1978, New Edition hit the big time with their 1983 debut album Candy Girl, landing three singles on the charts and becoming an overnight sensation with their boyish charm and carefully crafted image. Their self-titled 1984 sophomore album was an even bigger hit, topping the R&B chart on the strength of era classics like "Cool It Now" and "Mr. Telephone Man." The band's success in the mid-'80s was so considerable that it launched Bobby Brown to solo career stardom, with several other members finding success as spinoff group Bell Biv DeVoe in the '90s. Over the years New Edition has released seven studio albums, weathering hiatuses and reunions, but have rarely been joined by Brown in concert, making his presence on their 2014 tour all the more special.

    1982-1983 New Edition sung Candy Girl at First everyone that it was a song by the Jackson 5 because the Record Company put out an album by Micheal Jackson Farewell My Summer Love also . Me and My Friends by then argue over this .This is not Negative towards New Edition at all I m just venting of when I first heard them on the Radio and Now I’m So Proud 40 Years Later they still on Stage do the Moves together as One and Keeping Each Other’s up Please don’t Change Love Always

    I have seen New Edition many times. This show was different from the others but entertaining, nonetheless. I was excited to see the group perform as well as the individual sets. The venue is very intimate and standing up to dance was really not an option. NE is one of my favorite groups and I will continue to see them in concert each chance I get.

    If you've never seen New Edition in concert, you are missing out!! These guys STILL got it. It's like they don't age at all. They are non-stop on the stage and they give their best - you can tell. If you're lucky, you can catch them mingling nearby the concert location and you might get a photo opp because they love their fans as much as we love them. Great show, the best!! Worth the time and the dime!! #NE4LIFE

    I had a great time from my second row seat. I was able to get right in front of the stage and Ralph grabbed my hand and held it for a while. Dream come true! I couldn't be happier!

    What a performance!! The show was worth every penny spent. If there were any glitches, the audience did not know it. Every thing about the event was perfect. This was the only New Edition concert that I’ve ever attended and I was not disappointed. To everyone involved with bringing that show to the public, THANK YOU! Job well done!!!

    Everything was truly an experience! From the time the photo app started I was like a candy girl back in time. Every one of the members were so welcoming to everyone volunteering to hold the camera while we take pictures being patient with us through our excitement and nervousness.. From the time the curtains went up, they gave A phenomenal performance until the confetti fail from the ceiling. Four days later, and I am still on a high from the performance and VIP Experience! An Experience of a Lifetime that I would do again in a heartbeat for New Edition!

    The venue was not the biggest and I’m glad it wasn’t. It made the show up close and personal. If you get the chance to go please go, the show was awesome! Those guys have not lost a beat, steps or voices.

    Very nice to see a band that I grew up with in the 80’s. Song selections and sets were good. Back of dancers were outstanding and were needed as all but Ronnie and Ralph seemed to have lost a step. But again enjoyed the show and the energy. I’d see them again.

    Although the venue isn't really conducive to allow some real dancing to the groove, the show itself was amazing. All the guys showed up and showed out. I'd definitely recommend the show and would probably see them again!

    I enjoyed the joy tremendously. The intimate venue made it feel like family. If you're a NE fan, you know that you're going to get a SHOW; showmanship, crisp steps, laughs, and an all around good time. What surprised me this time was Bobby and Ricky. Bobby has been werking! He moved more and leaned in to the areas where he wasn't as strong. His.vocals sounded good. Speaking of vocals, Ricky is aging like fine wine. His vocals were OUTSTANDING! I was impressed. Mike announced they're returning in 2025. Do yourself a favor and grab a ticket if you can. Thank me later :)

    I have been a New Edition fan since '83 and have been to more NE concerts than I can remember. I must say this is probably one of their best in the last 10 years! The performances were great - a medley of New Edition, Ralph Tresvant, BBD, Bobby Brown and Johnny Gill hits. The Encore Theater at The Wynn was a great intimate venue. I was able to be a part of the VIP Meet & Greet Experience - it was on my bucket list and was even better than I could have imagined. Every single one of the members were so kind! Love, love the show and experience, and will be back again in 2025!

    Thank you for keeping Vegas on your city tour list. My family and I love NE music. We've been playing your music since the beginning. Our 20 year old and I caught the 11/3 show. It was my 4th time seeing you all since 2022! The show is different each time, but the music is timeless.
