Nelly in Concert

Ranked as the fourth best-selling rap artist of all time by the Recording Industry of America, Nelly has become a symbol of rap's crossover success in mainstream pop music. With over 21 million albums sold in the US alone, his pop-infused hip hop and unique vocal delivery have earned him six Top 10 albums and made him a live concert favorite. His seventh studio album, 2012's M.O., features hit singles "Hey Porsche" and "Get Like Me," a collaboration with Nicki Minaj and Pharrell. Born Cornell Iral Haynes, Jr. in 1974, Nelly got his first taste of musical success with the St. Louis hip hop collective St. Lunatics. In 2000, he launched his solo career with No. 1 debut album Country Grammar, which showcased his signature Southern drawl mixed with a Midwestern twang. 2002 follow-up Nellyville also peaked at No. 1 and included the international smash " Hot in Herre," which earned him a Grammy in 2003 for Best Male Rap Solo Performance. On 2013's M.O. tour, Nelly treated ticket buyers to his greatest hits, earning rave reviews for his upbeat stage presence and charismatic performances.

Music icons Nelly, TLC, and Flo Rida announced they are hitting the road together for an epic tour across North America. The Billboard chart-topping hitmakers join forces to bring a show like no other to outdoor amphitheater stages all summer long in 2019. Fans can expect an incredible, non-stop party with each artist delivering hit after hit all night long.

Nelly was amazing, but were too many opening acts

    by huskerfan206 on 3/7/11Pershing Center - Lincoln

Overall all of the performers were great, especially Nelly! Only bad thing was the long set up time in between bands. Was at least 45 min on each one! Even so, I would still recommend the show!

Good concert, low security and control

by MoPa on 3/7/11Pershing Center - Lincoln

The concert was overall good. It got a little long at times and there was a lot of sketchy people there with little security so that made me feel a little unsafe at times.

    Love Nelly

by racefanrn on 3/7/11Pershing Center - Lincoln

We were getting pretty tired by the time Nelly came on after already being in the building for 5 hours with the other guests playing. Nelly really livened us up. He is awesome and really got the crowd involved.

    Nelly was amazing

    by fortune24 on 3/7/11Pershing Center - Lincoln

The concert was extremely good! Nelly put on an amazing show! Him and the St. Lunatics were extremely good. 3oh!3 was also extremely amazing as well. Sick puppies were good but I think that everyone just wanted to see 3oh!3 and Nelly so they were getting restless and impatient

    Sound People Got it WRONG

by xxxandxxx on 3/7/11Scheels Arena - Fargo

We could not make our the music/lyrics on 90% of the songs. It was bouncing off the walls. Next time pick a venue suited for your set up. I was TOTALLy disappointed, then to top it off the parking was crap- out in the frozen tundra field. Any they had 4 tow trucks towing cars. Lucily they only moved mine. WHAT a DISASTER. Missed Hearing NELLY .. keep on top of the Venue ): Waste of time and $

    Not what I expected.

by kboom on 3/7/11Pershing Center - Lincoln

I didn't arrive right at 6, cuz i knew i wouldn't miss much at the beginning. But i'd rather have walked into and only saw 10 min. of Sick Puppies, b/c they are a rock band at a rap concert?, than of Cali Swag. Wasn't sure why sick puppies were there, they weren't great. The transition between each group was roughly 30-45 min each, seemed unnecessary.

by stuyacht on 3/7/11Pershing Center - Lincoln

This concert was amazing! I went for 3OH!3 mainly but I was very impressed with the other performers as well. I loved Nelly because he focused on a lot of his old music which everyone loved. 3OH!3 was amazing! They did so well with their performace.

    Amazing Concert...Except Nelly

    by RoxiePoxie4 on 3/7/11Pershing Center - Lincoln

This entire performance was full of energy and very fun. I thought everyone performed very well. I was especially suprised by 3 Oh! 3 because I had heard they weren't good live. But that was a lie. They were awesome! Nelly at the end was the only disappointment. First of all, he didn't do most of the singing. He had lots of people on stage with him for some reason and you couldn't understand what he was saying when he really was singing. He did try to get the audience really involved, but overall that part was the least impressive of a crazy amazing night.

A great blend of musical talent!

by Fandl on 3/7/11Pershing Center - Lincoln

i have been to a number of concerts over the years and I could honestly say that this has to be one of the best concerts I have ever been to. Growing up on Nelly his lyrical talents are profound and has been a Hip Hop icon for over a decade. Matched with 3Oh!3 and Cali Swag District it was definitely a concert worth seeing.

    3oh!3? Yes Please!!

by Anonymous on 3/7/11Pershing Center - Lincoln

I loved 3oh!3. I came to see them more than anything, and I am glad I did. Nelly was good as well. He was everything I expected, only playing his hits and not in full length but more of a mash up.
