Nelly in Concert

Ranked as the fourth best-selling rap artist of all time by the Recording Industry of America, Nelly has become a symbol of rap's crossover success in mainstream pop music. With over 21 million albums sold in the US alone, his pop-infused hip hop and unique vocal delivery have earned him six Top 10 albums and made him a live concert favorite. His seventh studio album, 2012's M.O., features hit singles "Hey Porsche" and "Get Like Me," a collaboration with Nicki Minaj and Pharrell. Born Cornell Iral Haynes, Jr. in 1974, Nelly got his first taste of musical success with the St. Louis hip hop collective St. Lunatics. In 2000, he launched his solo career with No. 1 debut album Country Grammar, which showcased his signature Southern drawl mixed with a Midwestern twang. 2002 follow-up Nellyville also peaked at No. 1 and included the international smash " Hot in Herre," which earned him a Grammy in 2003 for Best Male Rap Solo Performance. On 2013's M.O. tour, Nelly treated ticket buyers to his greatest hits, earning rave reviews for his upbeat stage presence and charismatic performances.

Music icons Nelly, TLC, and Flo Rida announced they are hitting the road together for an epic tour across North America. The Billboard chart-topping hitmakers join forces to bring a show like no other to outdoor amphitheater stages all summer long in 2019. Fans can expect an incredible, non-stop party with each artist delivering hit after hit all night long.

Happy 2 See ALL the TICS + CITY SPUD :))))))))))

by LaWedaTigre on 3/8/11Swiftel Center - Brookings

I was SOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY to see ALL of the St. Lunatics with Nelly there to show their support along with CITY SPUD! It was FABULOUS. The crowd was pretty hostile, but that wasn't the Performer's fault. As a long-time fan of all of the Lunatics & Nelly I was WELL-PLEASED with all of the performances including the surprise performance by Avery Storm! That was a Bonus! I wish Nelly would have performed longer though, or had gotten closer to the crowd (if at all possible ;). I did travel over 300 miles to see him, and like I said before was MORE THAN HAPPY with what I paid for. I had hoped he would go to the after-party afterwards hosted by United Ballaz in the Hotel I stayed at, but such is life, and I'll be in St. Louis next week, so you Jess never know.... :)))))

waited to see nelly for about 9 years, worthit!

    by herrold3 on 3/8/11Pershing Center - Lincoln

Nelly put on an amazing concert, along with his lineup. Loved every second of it. His mix of all his old and new songs was great, and he put on the best show i have been to. For being at a concert in a town the size of lincoln, he sure came with all of his game and blew it out of the water!

    nelly was amaizing! beautiful, sexy

    by Chelsealoree12 on 3/8/11Pershing Center - Lincoln

the show was definetly worth your money! Lasted between 5 and 6 hours! Cali Swag was short, but sweet! 30h3 was all right, but not really my taste in music--- good performers but i didnt know many songs. Sick puppies were not very good and preformed too long. Nelly was definetly the headliner and lived up to my exprectations. LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM! so sexy!!!! SOLD OUT, great performance by him. Id definetly go again, and would have rated it 5 stars without sick puppies in iti......and if it would have just been nelly and the st lunatics.

    LOVED NELLY

by GIZMOPRES on 3/8/11Pershing Center - Lincoln

3OH!3 WAS AWESOME. ALTHOUGH GEN ADM WAS A LITTLE SKETCHY. IT WAS NICE TO SEE THE DEDICATED FANS WHO WAITED OUTSIDE FOR HOURS GET THE CLOSE SEATS, INSTEAD OF IT DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH MONEY YOU HAVE IN YOUR WALLET.

    Nelly rocked it!

    by Janny19 on 3/7/11Pershing Center - Lincoln

Overall it was a pretty bomb ass concert. THe only thing that sucked is the fact that it was general admission. I think that caused quite a bit of hostility. I understand it's a concert and it happens but i have bruises all over my body from people shoving me. Once i was able to get out of the "mosh pit" of people I enjoyed myself. All the other artists were amazing as well! I love it and I hope they come around to Lincoln again! Thank you so much Jade Presents!

    I loved Everyone! Very Energetic:)

    by Jules2004 on 3/7/11Pershing Center - Lincoln

I loved the concert. It was up beat the whole concert , everyone was enjoying themselves even during set changes. All the bands were amazing. The only reason i had to sit down was because my feet hurt but i didn't want to sit down because i was having so much fun. I liked all the different types of music, but i love all kinds of music so it was a great show to go to. It kind of felt like i was at a club great music, good company and some hot guys on stage. One thing i loved about the Nelly concert was how he brought the audience onto the stage. I thought when he brought the young girl up to sing Kelly Roland's part in their duet was very cute. She will always have that memory. Everything about the concert was amazing. If 303, Sick Puppies, or Nelly came back i would definately go again. I wasn't really familiar with the first opening act but they were really good and would like to see them more also. Overall one of the best concerts i have been to.

    Blizzard Music Tour Feat. Nelly!

    by katlicious79 on 3/7/11Pershing Center - Lincoln

I have been to a ton of concerts in my lifetime and I must say that Nelly puts on the best show I have ever seen! All the acts where wonderful. Not sure how Sick Puppies made it into a Rap concert- but they gave it all they had. Big Reeno had a lot of energy. Cali Swag signed the shirt they threw in the audience for my daughter and were nice to her- not to mention that they have a wonderful stage presence! 3OH!3 rocked it like no one else can and didn't let anyone down. The Nelly came out and did his thing. He did all of his old songs, some new ones, brought girls on stage and just brought down the house! the price of tickets for a 5 hour show ($40) is the best part of it all. Its about time that people could afford to see an awesome concert again!

    Nelly????Need I say more???

by Goodwytch on 3/7/11Pershing Center - Lincoln

I have never seen an artist like "Nelly" I am from the 80's era and I would say he is just as good as they were, even better. Old enough to be his Mother but young enuf to enjoy his music!!!!! And the price was great I took the "kids". The Persing is too small for this kind of thing, one bathroom for alot of women...Not good.

by Riatia on 3/7/11Pershing Center - Lincoln

I loved the show. I was a little upset that the opening show took 2 1/2 hours and then Nelly performed and it was only 45 mins....... It was a great show and i would love to see it again!

EEK BLIZZARD TOUR WAS SO GREAT!

by MochaMuzik on 3/7/11Pershing Center - Lincoln

Words cannot express how amazing this concert was! 3OH!3 was absolutely AMAZING as were the Sick Puppies, Cali Swag District, and Nelly. I honestly can't remember the name but believe it was Big Reeno that was the first act, and he was great as well! Worth the wait outside and the DJ between bands was amazing. I highly recommend this event to anyone, they all put on an AMAZING show. The energy was undeniable throughout the crowd as we all sang along to each artists songs and even the songs being DJ-ed in between! BUY TICKETS! You MUST GO!
