Nelly in Concert
Ranked as the fourth best-selling rap artist of all time by the Recording Industry of America, Nelly has become a symbol of rap's crossover success in mainstream pop music. With over 21 million albums sold in the US alone, his pop-infused hip hop and unique vocal delivery have earned him six Top 10 albums and made him a live concert favorite. His seventh studio album, 2012's M.O., features hit singles "Hey Porsche" and "Get Like Me," a collaboration with Nicki Minaj and Pharrell. Born Cornell Iral Haynes, Jr. in 1974, Nelly got his first taste of musical success with the St. Louis hip hop collective St. Lunatics. In 2000, he launched his solo career with No. 1 debut album Country Grammar, which showcased his signature Southern drawl mixed with a Midwestern twang. 2002 follow-up Nellyville also peaked at No. 1 and included the international smash " Hot in Herre," which earned him a Grammy in 2003 for Best Male Rap Solo Performance. On 2013's M.O. tour, Nelly treated ticket buyers to his greatest hits, earning rave reviews for his upbeat stage presence and charismatic performances.

This was the best concert I've ever been to in peoria all 4 entertainers showed up and preformed wonderfully they interacted with the crowd jarule gave us a tribute I had a really good night keep bring back early 2000 night hopefully next year it will be even better
TI freestyled too much. He should have concentrated more on his hits. Ja and Ashanti hands down no doubt it stole the show. From the moment they hit the stage to the very end they didn't miss a beat. Nelly started out strong with all his classics from Day 1, which I've been rocking with Nelly since Day 1 but the middle of his set was filled with new stuff that hardly anyone in the audience knew what he was performing. Then ended the show well with Ashanti coming out to sing Kelly Rowland's part of Dilemma.
The Concert was An Awesome experience! T.I. really turned the show up & set the atmosphere for the other performer's. Ashanti put Monica too shame she turnt the show up with Jarule & JaRule was on fire š„ not too mention all his throw Back music was off the Charts. Nelly did an awesome performance with Nellyville but when he start with his new music alot of people started too leave the arena. Over All it was worth the price we paid for the tickets š šÆ I will attend again if T.I. or Jarule was too come back too Peoria Illinois Civic center...Great Performances by all the Artists...
This concert gave me literal goosebumps! All the songs played brought me back to my childhood of hearing these songs. Their voices all sound amazing live as well! Worth EVERY PENNY!

The 00ās was one of the best concerts Iāve ever been to. T.I., Ashanti, JaRule & Nelly killed their performances. Itās definitely worth the money. I regret not getting those front row ticketsš¢.
He didnāt play enough of his hits from the early 2000ās. Too much country music. It definitely wasnāt the music I was use to listening to during my college days.
This concert was just what I needed, it was truly my 2000s playlist nonstop dancing, singing and rapping every word
This has to be the best concert Ive ever experienced! From beginning to the end the concert was phenomenal & each artist had so much energy. T.I. Performed all my favorite hits & he took his shirt off to give to me which topped my night off! I ended up crying because I love when artist are able to relate & address their audience. Nelly also interacted as well. He passed the mic to me to sing āgetting hot in hereā & his brother took my phone to pass to Nelly to record himself performing!!!! How awesome is that?? Little ole me got to experience something like that in my life time. Im still at awwwwww & amazed how kind & awesome these artists were. To top off my night they also offered a meet & greet. Nelly gave me the biggest hug & made me felt so loved & welcomed. I did not want my night to end. He is so personal & down to earth. T.I. Also did a meet & greet & he was just the kindest individual ever. Thank you fellas for making this the most amazing night in my life!
Nelly, he performed at the casino and he did a great job. You can sense and feel that heās enjoying himself when heās on stage. He shows a ton of gratitude to fans. My issue with the show as a whole though is that he performed his newest songs in full and the classics that we all know and love, that made us Nelly fans in the first placeā¦he cut those short and/or mixed the beats with tracks that arenāt his. That part was quite disappointing. Iād see him perform again if I was guaranteed that he was performing his classics in FULL as opposed to his brand spanking new stuff. Mind you, a lot of the crowd knew his brand new stuff word for word so, anyway, seeing him is not a waste of money by any means but it was slightly amiss for me
Saw Nelly, Ashanti, and Ja Rule at Illinois State Fair. It was no less than 120Ā° out but every single one of them gave 110%. All of them even stopped their performances several times to check on fans who were passing out and needed water/medical attention. Nelly was very high energy, and fan-focused! I was within spitting distance from him and it was the best!!
Nelly still raps too notch and works his butt off! Really enjoyed him and his brother.
Ashanti & Ja Rule were fantastic! Nelly, on the other hand, left much to be desired. Sped up all music or set it to tracks from other artists. Said the word ābackroadā about 500 times. Very disappointed, especially considering the price of the tickets. Wouldnāt recommend.
Good. Would of been better in indoor concert instead of a state fair concert
The opener was good. However, after the opener left the stage we waited over two hours for Nelly to come on stage. The venue kept playing random music like we were at a night club but people were getting agitated. Never thought Iād hear such a disappointed crowed for Nelly. He lost a lot of fans due to canceling the show last minute after we were all waiting for him to appear on stage. Now that I see that this is a reoccurring thing he does, I donāt know that Iāll buy tickets to see him again in concert.
First time seeing Nelly in concert and I am ready to by tickets for the next one! Lots of energy on the stage and very humble constantly thanking the fans,

I enjoyed the concert overall. There were only small things that took me by surprise such as a lot of country songs being played and songs that were not Nellyās. For example, Bad girl by Usher was played. Nelly also kept thanking the crowd for their support which was nice. Chingy also performed well.
The show was a great experience for both me and my daughter. Until then she never saw someone as famous as Nelly perform in person and she was not disappointed with him or Chingy. The sound was good. Although our seats weren't the best, there was plenty of fill-ins because the stage area was full. My only problem was that he left us waiting for an extended time period. But, when he did come out, he brought the energy and the talent with him.
