  • Wasn't expecting to have as much fun as i had!

by Anna on 1/29/25Rating: 5 out of 5

I accompanied my mom and my grandparents to this show and I wasn't expecting to have a great time considering I'm 19 and don't know a single Neil song (besides Sweet Caroline), but I ended the night smiling and on my feet! My grandparents were in tears with how beautiful they replicated and honored Neil Diamond. There was a lot of great energy from the stage and everyone was super talented! Definitely recommend and I would definitely go again if my parents went!

  • Very enjoyable!

by SharonH on 12/17/24The Stanley - UticaRating: 5 out of 5

My husband and I enjoyed the evening seeing the Neil Forever show. The lead singer was engaging and sounded a lot like Neil Diamond. Also the dark haired female singer (Gina?) had a beautiful voice. Their duet sounded great. It was well worth the money. Each band member shined in their own way!

  • Meh...Just ok • Wellmont Theater - Montclair NJ

by Valerie on 12/14/24Rating: 2 out of 5

So being huge ND fans, my friend and I love to see the ND tributes. 2 months ago we saw a show called "So Good! The Neil Diamond Experience"at the Shea Center in Wayne about 20 minutes from the Wellmont. It was FAR superior than this show. 1st, why would the Wellmont bring in another ND tribute so close to one that just performed so close? 2nd why bring in one that is just subpar? This was just ok. But the band was way too loud. The lead singer had NO stage presence and no connection with his band at all. It was as if they all got together the week before and said, "Let's do some Neil Diamond music". I adore Neil's music and when it's done right it is such a pleasure. But this was not one of those times. Way too much haze overtaking the stage and the constant camera guy running around recording made it so distracting. I look forward to when the So Good Show is playing near us again. It is by far the BEST tribute to Neil Diamond we have ever seen.

  • Misleading

by Rosie - Palladium - New York City on 11/14/24Rating: 1 out of 5

Unfortunately the advertising for this was very misleading, by reading through the other reviews, I’m not the only one to think so. This was not a Broadway show, not even close. We also had a great deal of trouble just getting into the venue, the show itself was just ok, nothing special. I see that they are now advertising for a Neil Diamond Birthday Bash Show, sounds like another misleading advertisement, don’t be fooled, Neil would never attend this show.

  • NOT AT ALL as advertised!

by So Upset! • Palladium Times Square - NYC on 11/4/24Rating: 1 out of 5

I'm so glad someone else posted about this misleading concert. Billed as a Neil Diamond "Broadway"concert, the only thing Broadway about it, was the address of the venue. It is merely a tribute band that is bar caliber at best. I was so upset, I couldn't stay. The lead singer sounded nothing like Neil Diamond and pushed every song like so many others do when they try to sing his songs.

  • Disappointed Diamond Head!!

by Diamond Girl -Resorts - Atlantic City on 11/1/24Rating: 1 out of 5

I have attended many concerts/shows throughout Atlantic City and I love the SuperStar Theater at Resorts. It's a smaller more intimate setting than some of the other bigger venues in the area, but the band at this show was way too loud and over powering. I love all the Neil Diamond songs, but between the loud obnoxious band, the annoying cameraman and the muffled voice of the lead singer, I just couldn't enjoy it. I think too many try their hand at tribute bands without proper experience and professionalism, it's great to honor our legends in music, but let's give them the respect they deserve and have the talent to do so.

  • Poor facility, Misleading event description

by Poor facility, Misleading event on 10/29/24Palladium Times Square - New York CityRating: 1 out of 5

This is a Tribute band, not Neil Diamond. The band was ok but the event title and description makes no mention that this is a Tribute band. The facility has a 1515 Broadway address, which is prominately displayed on two separate large glass doors, but, these doors were locked. Other attendees gathered as we did searching for the entrance. We finally were able to figure out to enter on 44th Street because we saw workers there, but no signs. Large facility with no signs inside for directions to enter the auditorium; no workers present to guide us to our seats. Only one bar of three was open. Chairs were uncomfortable. They could have easily put up paper signs on the large glass doors saying enter on 44th St. Ticketmaster should have mentioned this in the ticket description; to confirm, the address is 1515 Broadway but you can't enter there. So frustrating ...

  • Another BAD Wannabe

by Max from Jersey on 10/25/24Resorts Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 1 out of 5

Bottom line is ANYONE who says this guy sounds like Neil Diamond has never heard the legend or seen him in concert. This guy sounds nothing like him and has zero the stage presence as Neil does. Obviously, these reviewers are friends and family. I am a true Diamondhead and I saw him 8 times. I have yet to see any tribute that comes close. Even the Broadway show was terrible. I'm seeing a new one in Galloway next month. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. I enjoy cover bands in bars so much better, who just play his music and have fun, rather than shows like this, who think they are exact replicas of Neil Diamond. It's more of an ego trip than a real tribute. I actually thought the guy was gonna blow out his voice at one point and the band was so loud and WAY too much. No where NEAR a true Neil Diamond concert. You Don't need all the lights, videos, and so many people on stage. You just have to be GOOD! I left after the first hour. It was a complete waste of money and my evening. Resorts Casino should do more research when booking bands like this.

  • Too loud!

by Disappointed on 10/22/24Resorts Atlantic City - Atlantic CityRating: 1 out of 5

Clearly the performers have never listened to a Neil Diamond album. The music should never be so loud you can’t hear the singer. I swear they replaced the drummers drumsticks with hammers. We left before they finished the first song because we couldn’t stand the noise. A waste of a lot of money and we would not recommend anyone going to their shows.

  • Not Even Close

by MD on 9/4/24Rating: 2 out of 5

Paramount NY has back peddled especially after seeing shows like the Queen Tribute and the great known Comedy acts they bring in. But this was merely a bar band with a lead karaoke singer who half the time didn't even sing the correct lyrics, and way too many people on stage vying for the spotlight. Extra star for not screwing up, Sweet Caroline, but then again everyone was singing that one!

  • Disappointed!

    by Jodi R. on 8/29/24Rating: 2 out of 5

I was looking forward to a night out, I’ve seen a few shows at the Paramount in the past, great venue but this show just didn’t live up to the other performances I’ve seen. The older guy that was singing just seemed to be trying too hard, in my opinion, he just didn’t have the stage presence to be a lead singer. I agree with other reviewers, I had trouble understanding him at times. I was also distracted by the camera guys video taping, not sure if they were with the venue or the band. I have tickets for another show at this venue coming up, so I’m hoping for a better experience.

  • A Great Show!

by Barbara on 8/29/24The Paramount - HuntingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Neil Forever was an absolutely fantastic show! If you close your eyes, you would think that Neil Diamond was performing. The entire audience was enjoying the show and the participation was great! We can’t wait to see the show again.

What a great show and a good time!! Will definitely see them again next time they come around.

  • Great show not quite

by Music lover on 8/27/24The Paramount - HuntingtonRating: 4 out of 5

The seats were great( section 205 loge). However the sound on David Jacobson’s mike was not what it should have been. Many of the words to Neil Diamond’s sings were muffled and difficult to hear. Otherwise concert was good.
