Bridgestone Area did not disappoint. We had great seats and the atmosphere was electric. Its still hard to believe they pulled off the reverse sweep.
The Broadway Block Party was a fabulous event at Bridgestone Arena. The quality of the three matches for the ticket price was well worth it—especially to see No. 1 Nebraska in person. I hope the event becomes an annual event! We'll be back if so.
Re-entry should have be permitted due to the full day schedule, providing a chance to see downtown Nashville and est elsewhere,
From near and the farthest away, Husker fans made the day for the Bridgestone Block party. No comparison to the amount of Husker red and cheering in the stands. Kentucky blue showed up which made for the most exciting match of the day.
The entire Broadway Block Party was an amazing event! The Nebraska-Kentucky match was epic, everything that we expected from a heavyweight contest between two top-six teams. The energy level was electric! The other matches (Purdue-Tennessee & Illinois-Vanderbilt) were compelling as well. The venue was great, concessions were all open, and the family-friendly atmosphere helped make the day. Please make this an annual event!
Convenient location for the volleyball showcase. The line for solid bag security check was crazy long and slow moving.
I will give credit for the sheer volume of support they gave their team. They travel well and I realize that means lots of tickets were sold. Red was everywhere. The lady next to me never sat down, commented on every play (never closed her mouth) and kept bumping into me b/c she mistakenly thought she was playing the games herself. Thankfully, her husband - seeing how she was acting - switched seats with her to give me a buffer. Keeping her penned in only caused her to be louder but at least I was spared the physical contact. Others around kept switching seats so they could trade off standing up and acting as if they were playing the games as well. From my experience she seemed to well-representative this fandom. I don't begrudge the cheering, but the constant movement and lack of consideration for others around them was insensitive and too much!! If I never have to attend an event with those fans again, it will be too soon!
What a blast. It was exciting and nail biting. So much fun to watch. The crowd was great. And great seats contributed to watching the game so close. I’m ready to see another tournament! Woman’s volleyball rocks!
Thoroughly enjoyed Husker volleyball! Great game. Great venue. We would go again!!!
