The NCAA Women's Basketball Championship, also called March Madness, is an annual tournament that crowns the National Champion for Division I women’s basketball. Launched in 1982, the championship follows a single-elimination format, with 68 teams divided among four brackets and ranked between first and sixteenth. After the seeding announcements on Selection Sunday, the tournament begins with the First Four games, followed by the First and Second Rounds, Sweet 16, Elite Eight, Final Four and the National Championship game. For the 2025 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship, the First Four games tip off on March 19 and 20. The Sweet 16 round will be hosted between Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama and Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena in Spokane, Washington from March 28 to 31, while the Elite Eight, Final Four and National Championship game will be played at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. Building on the hype and record-breaking viewership of the 2024 championship game between the reigning champion South Carolina Gamecocks and Iowa Hawkeyes, the 2025 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship will take place on April 6.

The legacy arena remodel has been a great touch. Not a bad seat in the house. The games were good, not sure if they were expecting such a large turnout because concession in my seating section ran out of a few items before the Sunday games started. Overall great experience. I hope Birmingham will host again!!!

Birmingham did well for ncaa women’s tournament. Only improvement would be to have some halftime entertainment. SEC tourney always has some entertainment which is nice to enjoy during the break.
Action packed. Great to see The teams play in person in Birmingham.
It was a great experience! The atmosphere was🔥 The girls did not disappoint...it was action packed the entire game!
My sisters and I really enjoyed the second round game at Colonial Life Arena. It is always a great time when you can go to a packed house and hear all the fans cheering!!
I attended the Lady Gamecocks vs Indiana NCAA Round 2 game at Colonial Life Arena. The energy in the building was out of this world. Lady Gamecocks came out of the gate slow but after halftime they showed their winning ways. Now headed to the Sweet Sixtern and beyond. Bring home the Championship!!

Ticketmaster made it easy to buy tickets . The seats were good, I wish I had known they were bench seats with no back. However that did not deter us from having a great time with our grandson. Would definitely purchase again.
