    Games good Consession stand bad!!

by BHTSR on 5/22/14University of Delaware - Newark

The games were great but how can you only have 1 consession stand open for this amount of fans?? People waited in line for food for over an hour. This is not acceptable!

    Awsome

by lax2014 on 5/22/14University of Delaware - Newark

Had a great time overall. Seats were good and the games even better. Very enthusiastic crowds! The one area that was very poor was concessions. There were MASSIVE lines and the average wait was 30 minutes! U of D dropped the ball big time in this regard.

    The Most Underappreciated College Sport

by DukeLaxDad on 5/21/14University of Delaware - Newark

It's the ultimate competition, involving speed, strength, accuracy, agility, and incredible overall athleticism. I experienced the thrill of victory when my Duke Blue Devils triumphed over Hopkins, and the agony of defeat when my Drexel Dragons were dominated by that midwestern powerhouse called Denver. No matter who you root for, everyone's good company at a college lacrosse game.

    Lacrosse Great - Concessions stunk

by JrbDelaware on 5/21/14University of Delaware - Newark

Had tickets at University of Delaware Stadium for two Quarter Final games of NCAA Lacrosse Championships. Games were great, but UD totally screwed up concessions. 8,000+'fans on one side ofmthe stadium and only three lines open. Went down at halftime of first game. By the time we got food and returned to our seats, there was 90 seconds left in the 15 minute 3rd quarter. Shameful. The lines stayed long through both games. Average wait was 25-40 minutes. Trash cans were overflowing with nobody giving them proper attention. Almost like UD had no idea what to expect.

NCAA Men's Lacrosse Quarter Finals at UD SWEET

Great venue, easy access and great seats! I would recommend this location to anyone and suggest the NCAA consider again next year.

The Lacrosse games were fantastic. However, The University of Delaware did a horrible job at providing food and beverage. There was only 2 open concession stands and the lines to get anything to eat and drink was at least a 45-60 min wait. Also, my family and I go to alot of sporting events and their prices were a bit high. I would highly recommend that the NCAA provide gear in youth sizes. It was a shame that we could not buy anything for our children. This was also the problem in Philadelphia for the Finals last year.

    Great lacrosse poor concessions

by Anonymous on 5/21/14University of Delaware - Newark

The venue is great for watching lacrosse but the concession owners miscues by not having enough workers to handle the crowd. To get a drink took over 30 minutes and you could not leave and come back during the first game. You could leave and enter when the first game ended. When you have many youth lacrosse players at an event like this they needed to do better.

Good lacrosse, venue, not so much..

by LimeGuy50 on 5/21/14University of Delaware - Newark

Lacrosse in a paper bag is all good. We enjoyed the games. The stadium facility was lacking. One bathroom for men (and one for women) with somewhere around 9000 fans. Do you think there were more men or women at the game? One food stand. Come on! The men's room was three walls of marble with a trough. You stood shoulder to shoulder and urinated on the marble was as water cascaded down. This works for drunk college kids, not for me. The tickets were 32.50 including the Ticketmaster charges. Food, forget it. The line was 30 to 45 minutes. I will attend the quarter finals again. But not if they are held at Delaware Stadium. And we drove 100 miles each way for the games. There is more to a GREAT fan experience than just having a game. Maybe the NCAA should attend the ACC Finals at PPL Park to see what a GREAT fan experience can be.

    NCAA Lacrosse Quarter Finals

by DelawareWhofan on 5/21/14University of Delaware - Newark

A great day of lacrosse hosted at a great venue. It is a perfect stadium and location for the NCAA quarterfinals. Only downside was the lack of vendors selling food/beverages. The lines were too large to wait for food. Other than that, great day. Thanks U/D

    University of Delaware stadium

by Olneyogre on 5/21/14University of Delaware - Newark

Not enough concession stands open to handle crowd. Only one person cooking food for entire stadium. And yes in the men's room you have to pee on a wall, no urinals. Long line of men using portable toilets rather than the men's room. Lasso scheduled a parade as the fans were exiting to additionally congest traffic . Hold no future events at this venue.

NCAA Lax Quarterfinals: Great venue, free parking!

by tom1254 on 5/21/14University of Delaware - Newark

Loved the fact that the parking was right next to the stadium and I didn't have to pay $20 for parking like we have to at all of these NFL football stadiums. My family and friends truly enjoyed University of Delaware and hats off to them and NCAA for putting on a great event! Keep the games on college campuses throughout the NCAA tourney. There are many stadiums that will hold 40,000 enough for the big crowds on Memorial Day weekend.

Games were great. Venue needs work

by Richieric220 on 5/21/14University of Delaware - Newark

Fix the concession stands or let people bring in their own food and drinks. We waited an hour to get a cold hot dog and missed half of the game.

    NCAA Lacrosse Quarterfinals

by Dets on 5/21/13Lucas Oil - Indianapolis

Event was awesome. Only a few changes. One, Lucas Oil needed to open more than one gate to get in. They ran out of merchandise early. Finally, when I bought tickets, best available was in section 300. Went back a few days later and sections 100 and 200 were open. Was a little mad about that, but my seats were still good.
