The NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, also known as March Madness, is the annual Division I Men’s Basketball tournament that began in 1939. Composed of 68 men’s college basketball teams across the U.S., the highly-anticipated competition determines the National Champion through a series of single-elimination games over three weeks. The tournament format follows four regional brackets with teams ranked from one to 16, plus an additional eight teams competing to claim the last four main bracket slots during the First Four Games. For the 2025 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, the First Four games start on March 18 and 19, followed by the First and Second Rounds between March 20 and 23, Sweet Sixteen on March 27 and 28 and Elite Eight on March 29 and 30. For the fifth time, the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas will host the Final Four and National Championship games, on April 5 and 7 respectively.

First trip to NOLA and a great place to see CATS dominate! Amazing seats!!!! Would never get that close to the CATS in Rupp Arena!
food....awefull selection big screen has "black bar" on it had to see/read over it No updates on other games........Yuck!
The NCAA doesn't allow you to bring any food into their events, not even a snack. If your a diabetic, then stay home because it's not worth risking your health to attend one of their March Madness events. As far as the games, three of them were thrillers and one was a dud.
NCAA Men's Basketball 1st Round in NOLA. Three great games. Kentucky is soooo boring, but ETSU didn't quite. Baylor (my team) did not play up to par, but still won. Always Best: When Baylor went ahead for good. Second best: when Wake beat t.u. at the buzzer in overtime. Worst: thow whole Kentucky game. Second worst: the officials were terrible, inconsistent, and almost all call went to the favorite. (Pittman should have been callled for about 17 fouls, Jmaes for about 12, and Ricky Barnes now apparently owes the refs a lot for the fact that he didn't have a bunch of Technicals. I always thought the coach wasn't supposed to be on the court while the game was in play; maybe it's a new rule just for t.u.).
This was probably the best first round games! Everything was well in order and clean. I saw several employees mop throughout the day if someone has spilled a coke or whatnot. Also, we noticed the entry way was sticky and the lady helping at the aisle got it mopped in less thatn 5 minutes of us mentioning it. Everything was great!
I'm a K-State fan, so cheering for a team that has rarely even played in the postseason, I had to experience watching the games in person when they played close to where I live. And it was worth it. The two fringe games were better than advertised, with a double OT in one game and a late game-winning 3 in the other. As much fun as it is watching on TV surrounded by friends, make your way to an arena sometime in your life to watch your favorite team in person. You must might see the most exciting basketball you've ever seen in your life.
We attended Round 1 in New Orleans and throroughly enjoyed it. There was some of everything with the 4 teams - close games, a mild upset, a blowout and overtime drama in the last game. Round 2 is tomorrow.....can't wait to see what happens!
Beautiful facility to have basketball in. After you leave the arean how can you beat "Brick Town" with all of its restaurants. You have to go.....
The overall experience was worth the cost. Two exciting buzzer beater finishes by Murray State and Washington were once in a lifetime experiences. Go Racers and Huskies!
First of all I am grateful that Ticketmaster had a seat for me to enjoy four wonderful games on Thursday in New Orleans at a very fair price. However, I wonder why it was necessary to send a crippled old man 74 years of age high up (good seat, excellent view at midcourt, not unhappy there) so high when thousands of seat at all lower levels went unfilled at all. I requested lower level for a very valid reason.
As a fan of the tourney...watching, filling out brackets, cheering for underdogs :)....I was THRILLED to be at tournament games IN PERSON, especially with my school being a participant! The atmosphere was wonderful, and I would love to go every year! My only suggestion....KEEP THE SCORES ON THE SCREEN OF THE OTHER GAMES IN PROGRESS, AND LET US WATCH THE LAST MINUTES OF THE CLOSE GAMES! Keep those of us in attendance A PART of the tournament, no matter where the games are being played, PLEASE!!!! ( We couldn't get WiFi in the arena, so we couldn't watch it on our Touches or phones.)
Oklahoma City and Ford Center did a awesome job of making this event enjoyable.
I LOVED BEING ABLE TO PICK OUT MY SEATS FOR THE TOURNAMENT RATHER THAN TAKING POT LUCK AS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE.
It was unorganized. There was not enough time between session 1 and 2. They were not sure about how and where to let people back into the stadium. They told people to get wrist bands. Why? We had tickets. Unorganized.
This was the one of the best sporting events I ever attended. Three out of the four games were very close and down to the last second. I cant wait for the next March Madness that is held here in the Bay Area again. I just hope I can sit a little bit closer (even though I was pretty darn close).
Good overall experience then again I have been before so no real surprises. The only problem I seem to have is with not being able to see the scores from other games that are going on. There should be a ticker going throughout the whole game updating scores or put them on the tv's in the lobby.
It was great atmosphere but overall I was disappointed in their handling of other action of the tournament. During the breaks of games I attended the venue would only flash scores during time outs and not show any live action of the close games.
Great event. Lcocation is just right. Cheap parking abundant easy walk to restaurants and hotels. Good job OKC>
Awesome event! Love it when the tournament comes to OKC!!!
