  • OMG! What a GOOD time.

    by Mike H. on 4/2/25PPL Center - AllentownRating: 5 out of 5

This is the second regional final I have taken my son to at the PPL Center. We bought the tickets even before the teams were announced so we were lucky enough to score tickets right behind the bench! The staff/security were excellent in helping us get where we need and providing pertinent information. Despite being a smaller arena, it was a blast! The place was absolutely rocking and when PSU won it in overtime, the place just ERUPTED. Best experience I've been to and was super affordable despite being a 90-minute ride. This was the exact definition of GOOD ACTION!!

  • Awsome experience

    by Mike M on 4/2/25PPL Center - AllentownRating: 5 out of 5

Awsome game , great venue. Easy to find parking. Easy to get to.

  • NCAA REGIONAL HOCKEY TOURNAMENT

by Dave on 4/1/25Huntington Center - ToledoRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent experience buying tickets through Ticketmaster, including setting the app up on my iPhone. Enjoyed the session one games…great price to watch both games. Huntington Center is a great venue for the regional games and I hope the NCAA continues to hold the regionals at Huntington and that maybe some holiday hockey tournaments can be held there.

  • Would go back there again

by Toledo yes, ticket fees no on 4/1/25Huntington Center - ToledoRating: 4 out of 5

Huntington Center in Toledo is a great arena for a hockey game. You feel anywhere in there is on the ice.

  • Toledo Did a Great Job

by David on 4/1/25Huntington Center - ToledoRating: 5 out of 5

Huntington Center is the perfect size venue for this type of event. Out of town visitors are given a first class venue and experience. All concessions were available, short wait times and the kids had a blast.

  • Great hockey awful facility

by Regionals on 3/31/25SNHU Arena - ManchesterRating: 3 out of 5

The hockey was awesome. The facility could not keep the nets in place. Constantly stopping the action. Sound system was flaky. At one point muted then extreme volume. Sunday was better than Thursday.

  • Outrageous amenities

by Hockey fan on 3/31/25PPL Center - AllentownRating: 1 out of 5

Food & beverage prices were outrageous, $7.00 bottle water, $14.00 for sandwich & bag of chips AND this was a 2 game affair and vendors ran out of food before game 2 even started

  • Too Expensive

by Ham on 3/31/25PPL Center - AllentownRating: 3 out of 5

Unfortunately the NCAA is charging too much for these college hockey games. While the venue and games were enjoyable, they aren’t worth what the NCAA is charging. I’ll be staying home and watching on TV in the future.

  • Fun experience, but...

by ballgame on 3/31/25SNHU Arena - ManchesterRating: 3 out of 5

While Manchester has been a successful host in prior years, the entire event just seemed like an afterthought to the arena and city this time. I know not all of these issues are in the direct control of the arena, but the host institution/committee should have been able to work with the city in anticipation of these issues. From an arena perspective, based on prior experiences in Manchester, I was expecting a well-run high quality event. I was supremely disappointed. From a quality of competition perspective (the 100% most important thing), it was evident that this venue had not hosted any meaningful hockey games in quite a while. The ice conditions were horrific and had a detrimental impact to the games, so bad in fact that numerous notes were made in various media outlets. The arena PA system was inconsistent and the operators did not seem to know the rules for playing music during the game. It was impossible to hear the referee announcements. As seems to often be the problem, the arena services (concessions, etc) appeared overwhelmed during the break between games. The additional beverage sale points did help but food was very difficult to come by. I know hosting doubleheader events is unusual but I would recommend the arena review what other arenas do for best practices at these types of events. The arena as a whole seemed old and tired, but I do not necessarily blame the arena for this as it does not have a current tenant. Regarding external factors, parking in particular was very difficult and it seemed many services establishments didn't even know the event was occurring (and thus bringing in additonal staff) and it was a normal Friday afternoon. All in all, I know Manchester and New Hampshire are strong hockey communities and I would be willing to give this site another chance but substantial upgrades need to be made to the entire experience.

  • Very Good

by Virginia on 3/31/25SNHU Arena - ManchesterRating: 4 out of 5

It was a great experience, fun hockey, and there were frequent reminders. My only suggestion to make my experience better is to make the QR code available online rather than only by phone app.

  • Mediocre venue

by Mamie on 3/31/25SNHU Arena - ManchesterRating: 3 out of 5

SNHU arena needs some love! Poor A/V, poor lighting. More than a dozen episodes where the net came off the posts.

  • Arena needs some improvement.

    by Jeffery F on 3/31/25SNHU Arena - ManchesterRating: 4 out of 5

The SNHU venue is very nice. My main complaint is the on ice goal nets were often dislodged with what looks like minimal contact from the players which resulted in long delays to rectify. I have seen much better moorings in other rinks. The Public Address was often over ridden by loud music. It was very difficult to hear mic’d up on ice officials trying to make announcements. Several times the Pep band was playing and the loud music was overtaking the band. I can only imagine their frustration. That is all.

  • One of the best Regionals I have been to

    by Newton72 on 3/31/25SNHU Arena - ManchesterRating: 5 out of 5

My brother and I have been going to NCAA ice hockey Regionals or Frozen Fours for over 20 years and this is one of the best we have been to: Great venue with good variety of craft beers; friendly venue staff; easy to get to being right off the highway; plentiful parking close by; and many places to eat (and drink) before the games.

  • Great environment and nice arena

by Butch on 3/31/25PPL Center - AllentownRating: 5 out of 5

Good venue and the atmosphere for these games is great. PSU had all-but a home crowd which might have been a little unfair, but the place had great energy and did in years past for other teams too.

  • Excellent experience.

by Diane Mc on 3/31/25PPL Center - AllentownRating: 5 out of 5

Venue had plenty of staff and we accessed the can with NO wait at all!

  • Nothing Better than College Hockey

by Hockey Nut on 3/31/25SNHU Arena - ManchesterRating: 5 out of 5

As a season ticket holder for a local D1 team I have to say that it’s the best bargain in big time sports. The people at SNHU Arena were fabulous also. Very friendly and accommodating. I hope they get to host the Regionals there again soon. It all keeps me coming back for more! And thank you of course to all the player from every team that took the ice- you’re all champions.

  • A Terrible Venue

by DonM on 3/31/25SNHU Arena - ManchesterRating: 1 out of 5

Why the NCAA chose the SNHU Arena for a regional is beyond me. The venue was not ready for the event. In the BC-Bentley game, the lights were too low for the start of the game. They botched the introductions, showing BC players on the video boards when Bentley players were introduced. They couldn't come up with an anthem singer? The BC band played the anthem. The PA was so muddled you couldn't hear it. The graphics with the school's logos looked like they were done 20 years ago. The replays often would go to the NCAA graphic just before the money shot that you wanted to see. And the nets were dislodged at least a half dozen times, brining crews out to fix the posts that keep them in place. The only good part of the experience is that we found street parking.

  • Arena needs updating and better playing surface

by FriarsFan on 3/31/25SNHU Arena - ManchesterRating: 3 out of 5

This location should fall out of the rotation for frozen 4 regionals. Plenty of other suitable places in New England. Hockey is no longer played regularly here and it shows. Ice surface was sub par. Legs would not keep nets on. Ice was very wet leading to unpredictable play. Bounces of boards were irregular. The concourse is narrow and the bathrooms inadequate. Th actual games were good. It’s a facility issue

  • Great experience, lots of fun.

by Dave on 3/31/25PPL Center - AllentownRating: 5 out of 5

Attended both Round 1 and 2 at the PPL Center in Allentown, PA. Perfect venue for the event. Great crowds from Maine and Penn State for round 1. Great Penn State crowd for round 2, UConn crowd was small. Friday night handicapped seating for my father was perfect. Hope the event comes back.

  • Great Hockey sad Building

    by jwd603 on 3/31/25SNHU Arena - ManchesterRating: 4 out of 5

Really good hockey but as someone who has been to all the regionals at Manchester the building is showing it's age and it's sad.
